My husband and I with two good friends spent New Years Eve at the Allenspark Lodge. The owners, Bill and Juanita, were very hospitable. The lodge is very unique, homey, and we felt very welcome. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The lodge is very clean. Coffee, tea, hot chocolates, and homemade cookies were available all day. At midnight we were hosted to a candlelit Champaign toast with appetizers.
