Place is great! Should be on the show«Diners, drive ins & Dives» because it would definitely be considered a dive. Best bbq in the Valley. Just so you know, we tried the python gumbo tonight. Yes, Python as in snake. Delicious! Place is awesome & would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some good eatin.

Best time to go is before the dinner rush. The food is phenomenal. The smoked meat falls off the bone. The server’s are all very nice and attentive. For being a small shop, they have a nice bar selection. Love this place!

It was our first time but we thought we give them a try and we did not regret it. Don’t be fooled by the exterior of the place, the food inside is great. The homemade soups were to die for, the Ruben bbq was excellent, the portion generous, the waitress pleasant and the food came really fast, best BBQ place in Lehigh valley

Used to have the best pulled pork nachos. USED to. Half the plate now. And not crisped in the oven anymore. Big disappointment.

The food is tasty, the bands rock, and the bartenders are totally out of this world! Grumpy’s puts a smile on your face!

Seriously I’ve yet to be disappointed with this joint. I love the ribs which are slide off the bone good. you know they smoke their food 24⁄7 because the food usually comes super quick too. I get ½ rack ribs and my wife gets pulled pork sandwich. The fried okra in stewed tomatoes, the sweet potato fries and coleslaw are all outstanding sides. Can say enough good things. If we want BBQ this is where we come.

Not awful but not great. Maybe it’s a different style of BBQ that I’m not into but honestly I couldn’t say i’d recommend it. That’s just me… judge for yourself

Went with family. Everyone had something different and all seemed to enjoy their meals. I had the roasted chicken, which was really good. My wife had the Carolina style pulled pork sandwich. She said that she really like it. Sides were good, but nothing special. Cool hotel bar kind of vibe. A place to try if you are in the area.

Ribs were great, and I liked the casualness of the restaurant. Will want to go again when there is a band playing. Also, really like the Gumbo…

Old hotel style bar and dining area. $ 3PBR pounders. My girlfriend, another awesome couple and I. We ordered fried green tomatoes, pulled pork quesadillas, and crab stuffed pretzel bites to sample and share. All 3 were amazing but the fried green tomatoes were out of this world! For the main course I had a brisket wrap and it was so-so…if they would have removed the fatty pieces I would have enjoyed it more. Being a bbq caterer for my side business I recognize brisket is the hardest meat to get perfect but even if the cook was top notch the fat ruined it. Will absolutely go back.

After 3 visits. The same result each time, the pulled pork is super greasy and lacking flavor other than a super harsh prominent burnt smoke flavor. The sides are mediocre at best. This is sad because there are not very many options for BBQ. Just not my style of BBQ but I know others who love their food.

Great BBQ, everything I’ve had here is great. Pulled Pork is very good and so is the brisket, they have platter options and then different sandwiches as well. I had a smoked Prime Rib sandwich with Rosemary Au Jus that I dream about sometimes. This place gets 4 stars though instead of 5 because I think it’s a bit overpriced for the area and for the other BBQ restaurants I’ve been to that are just as good.

Service was great Decent beer selection Jambalaya was ok Kids got chicken fries: above average Anything with the brisket is good Why restaurants cheap out on ketchup is frustrating. Heinz can’t cost that much more. The fries are good but no Heinz??? C’mon!

WOW! A REALROADHOUSE! PERFECT! What a great place for real smoked BBQ everything! Chicken wings-smoked(and HUGE), brisket-smoked, ribs-smoked! Fantastic huge portions at great prices. Nice selection of draft beers. There sides are so complimentary to the mains. Dinner partner had the jambalaya and raved over it. The ability to order single(or multiple) ribs to add to any meal is fantastic! Nothing fancy about to bar/dining room/building(wouldn’t want it any other way for a BBQ joint!) Blue collar roll yer sleeves up enjoy yer drink and great food! Service was fast and friendly. Their house made sauces are great. Can’t wait to get back to Allentown to visit again. This is now my go to place when in the area

For one the address does not take you far enough down the road to find it. It is about two miles past the address. Second I got the sampler plate to get the full taste of what they had to offer.(Huge portion be careful) Brisket– moderately good taste overall slightly dry. Ribs — great texture and flavor cooked perfectly Pulled pork– good the flavor profile is a little weird in my opinion. But hey everyone is different. Fries were nice and crispy I was not a fan of the coleslaw though. The cornbread is great though. My food ticket time was slow but that may be because I was here at an odd time in the afternoon. Atmosphere — great southern bbq feel. Blue music playing and hogs on the wall.

Awesome! Again, the bozo’s posting complaints: it’s right on the menu that gravy is extra, and it’s a ROADHOUSE — That should clue you in that it ain’t linen table cloths and piano music! I went with 10 guys from Arkansas — I am pretty sure they know good BBQ when they eat it, and we all stuffed ourselves with tender ribs, chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, gator balls, fried pickles, and 3 different types of wings. They say the brisket was flavorful and I loved the spicy sauce. Food came quickly, drinks never sat empty, and though they were busy the waitress kept on us as well as her other tables. Made for a great evening after a long day of training. Thanks!

Local farmhouse style quaint bar and attached dinning room. The food is what you’re hear for, although there is liveusic here often. Its the kind of place where you can walk in a stranger, grab a stool at the bar, and strike up a conversation with half the room befre you’re 2 sips into your beer. The ribs are the beat thing on the menu… by a longshot. The sides are average, as are most of the other items here… the pulled pork sandwich is a distant second to the tender and moist ribs you wish you ordered instead
