My friends and I go once a week for lunch just do get out of the building at work. We call our order in and when we get there it’s on a table waiting for us! I cannot express how wonderful the people are who work here and their chicken Cesar is DELICIOUS! We’ve had pizza too which all very very good, but when I walk in the door it’s «trouble is here» but they take really great care of us! And I look forward to our weekly outting for lunch just to get out and see these happy faces and eat really great food! If YOU Don’t like their food, you know nothing, but you can’t deny that they are great people and that’s enough to keep going back! Jay and all thanks for taking such great care of us!!!

Food pretty good but their desserts are WAY overpriced. $ 6 for a sliver of cake! Should be twice the size for that price!

Overhyped, overpriced. Typical place everyone in central jersey raves about being the«it» Italian place… but to me it was just disappointing. Nothing was bad tasting… Just nothing special about it at all and honestly kind of bland. Bread for the table was very plain, butter was packets and cold. Shame on the side salads for the entrees… One grape tomato per salad. One slice of cucumber… And it looked like it had been pre-sliced a whole ago and either frozen or refrigerated because it was weirdly soggy and translucent around the edges. Entrees were just meh… Mixed seafood platter was fine, but for $ 27 I want to have a memorable entrée… Not just meh. My friends chicken francese entrée was also lackluster. Heavy, lots of food… But boring

Prices were higher than those posted on Website, also didn’t honor lunch menu advertised on website. We explained we picked restaurant based on website advertisement. They said its against their policy to honor their posted prices. We left without eating.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant and now my go-to place when I’m craving an Italian dish. It’s a family-friendly environment and decent service. The food is just oh-so delish and the price point is very reasonable! The ONLY downside to this place is that the parking is atrocious, hence what prevents me from giving this establishment a full 5 star review. But the food is off the chain I promise.

Had the pork and rabe sandwich. It was prepared with home made potato chips. The food was hot and appeared to be prepared fresh from my order. The bun was nice and crispy. The portion was a good size. The pork was deep fried and had plenty of favor. The rabe was bitter but nothing that a little salt could not cure. Over all it was a great meal.

La Piazza is the real thing! Family run by a trained chef, the food is creative, delicious and well-priced. The service is impecable; Lillian is my favorite server. Make sure you check the mouth watering special board before ordering. Everything is top notch. Wonderful family atmosphere; most patrons are long time fans. My favorites are the pizza margharita made in the oak-fired wood oven and all the salmon dishes. For calamari lovers, try the Mondello that takes calamari to the next spicy level. I recently attended a wedding in their new, adjacent dining hall; A+++! And in little olé Allentown. Go once and you will become addicted to the charms, aromas and endless creations devised by the talented Chef Jerry.

I love this place! Great pasta fagioli soup and their vodka rigatoni is out of bounds! Not to mention their pizza, calamari, etc.

I don’t remember ever having a bad meal here. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because of the parking. They have a lot and you can do street parking but it is all limited. If it’s nice out, maybe just plan to park on Main Street and take a nice stroll. Certain drinks are not free refills because they use bottles but otherwise the price is right and the food is great!

They start you off with warm rolls in a bucket, olive oil, and spices. I had the special lobster ravioli and she had a grilled tuna steak on a bed of spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection. Really tasty and filling for a lunch serving. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Ambiance was airy/open. Reasonable prices.

Went out here to eat with the boss. Not to far from where I work in the little town of Allentown. Parking lot can get filled but there is street parking. Lots of room during lunch but started to quickly fill up. Staff is nice and got us a seat right away. The bread was good especially with the Italian dip to spread on it. The lunch specials look good and decided to go with the cheesesteak works hoagie. Sandwich was huge but it was worth it. Very delicious and every bite was good. Gave it four stars because no refill on drinks.

My family and friends just love this place. We have been going here for the past 8 years. The shrimp francise & Salmon Alla Dijon are our two favorite meals. Our new favorite is the puffy garlic bread — Bomba. Delicious. The owners and staff are truly the nicest people too. Always smiling and sweet to the customers(we bring children & seniors with us) Not many places will the owner walk around, talk to you and ask you if you liked your meal. If you are looking for a nice family restaurant, this is the place!

I’ve been coming here with my family for the last 15+ years. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the staff is super sweet. Their soup is a favorite, which they sell by the gallon. Overall, a great family place!

We have been going here since moving to the area in 2006. Never a bad meal here. We call them if we are in the mood for soup. If they have the roasted red pepper with chicken, we will be on our way, best soup. All there soups are fantastic. There roasted red pepper house salad dressing is also delicious. They have gluten-free pasta, I even had them make me veal parm, they grilled the veal instead of breading it, it tasted much better than having it breaded. Service is always good.

Fettuccine toscano with a side salad was greasy, flavorless, and chicken-less. Definitely bummed about this meal and surprised they got 4 stars on Unilocal

La Piazza has been a stable in my life since I was probably about 12. Classic Italian dishes and pizza you can’t beat. I make sure to stop in for dinner or lunch every time I’m back in New Jersey. The best part is you can BOYB and for the amount of food they give you, it really is affordable. My personal favorites are the chicken piccata and the meatlovers pizza. Don’t forget the delicious rolls!

On our way back from Six Flags, found this place on the way back to NYC. For the area, this place is pretty good — really liked their warm bread, bf liked the pizza($ 10), salad w/grilled chicken + fresh mozzarella($ 9) was pretty good. $ 21 for 2 people, relatively good service, can’t complain
