Very friendly service in a wonderful historic setting. Nice place to sit and relax after walking through beautiful Allentown.

This is my favorite new place. I live 30 miles away and don’t even give it a second thought about cruising up to get coffee. Seriously. This place puts other 3^rd wave coffee shops to shame… hell, they put a lot of vegetarian/​vegan places to shame. The coffee is spot on, the baristas foam the soy milk to utter perfection – so important in a good latte. The fare is standard coffeehouse vittles but fully vegetarian with enough vegan options to keep us oldskool vegans happy, and always such care and attention to presentation when it’s served. Baked goods — umm, so many options and they’re as scrumptious as they look! The décor makes my inner artist heart flutter, you can tell they poured their soul into this endeavor. And lastly, the stellar customer service is the cherry on top on this all… in this day, the smiles and warm, engaging conversation is lacking in so many food establishments. There’s no shortage of niceness here. You’ll love it, promise!

Coming into downtown Allentown NJ brings me right back to the old neighborhood. Small town stores, mom and pop ice cream shop, mom and pop bike shop, diner, and even a chocolate shop. This little coffee shop was the missing puzzle piece.
You open the door to peaceful music and a smile and leave wishing you could stay all day. Cozy seating and a view of the lake. You might see some geese or even the local Eagle if your lucky.
A good amount of coffee choices and teas with a vegan /​organic menu. Plenty of delicious and delectable vegan pastries, and cakes. Unique sandwiches (beet burger) to organic soup to the vegan mac and cheese, oh my! Im not knowledgeable with vegetarian but everything in delicious. The only downside that i see are the hours. Enjoy!

This place is awesome. The coffee is delicious, the food amazing, and the ingredients are all natural which is a big plus for me. The staff is really friendly and will answer your questions about their products. Only issue for me are the hours. Like I want to go more, but I only drive through town early and they’re closed. And I want to go today, but it’s a Sunday and they’re closed on Sunday. And from other reviews it seems like their hours are unreliable too. I hope once they establish themselves and have a good system, they’ll open more times that people will want coffee (before 9am, weekends…). I wanted to rate 3 stars for this, but their coffee, food, and service are all so amazing I couldn’t knock anymore haha

Wish I could actually review my experience at the Moth, but I have gone here at least 3 different times (during their said hours… I even called to confirm they would be open) but the doors were locked and they were closed. I understand they are a new business, but how are you suppose to actually know when they will be open when their posted hours aren’t really their hours or they decide they are closing early, or not opening at all. So frustrating!

This neighborhood café is super cute with instagram-​worthy décor.
Their hours are terrible for a coffee house but if you can make it while they are open, they have a great ambiance. This is a great café to sit for a while alone or with friends and have a small talk, study, or read.
The employees are very friendly and nice. This café is slow-​paced and chill so it’s better for a sit-​down rather than a quick coffee run.
Their coffee is also great and they offer a small variety of pastries and quiches.
If you are in the area and have not much to do, I would definitely recommend this adorable café.

Absolutely love this place! One of the only rustic and homey atmospheres in a coffee shop around! The coffee is great and the service is awesome. The family that owns it is so friendly and welcoming. I love coming here just to sit and relax. I would definitely recommend to anyone! I talked to the owners and their actual hours are 9 – 4 everyday and on Mondays they’re closed, the hours posted on here were a mistake. Still love coming here though, favorite coffee house around!

Very disappointed! I drove all the way to try this place out and they were closed at 6pm when online it said open till 8pm! Waste of my time thanks! I’ll go to places that actually stay open.

A charming coffee shop with great parking. Inside The Old Mill on Main St, built in 1706. Family run. The bold coffee is nicely balanced. I will undoubtedly return on errands and bike rides through town.
