Best Thai food this side of the delta(Cambridge delta). Great dishes, superb noodles, and spot on spice levels. A@time, your name confuses me, but your food sure doesn’t.

Ordered a few Spicy Thai Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. Best damn things ever. Really cool unique flavors. Soda was ice cold and delivered in less than 30 minutes.

I usually love A @ Time. The food is(usually) good and the delivery is always fast. If I’m craving Thai food, this is my go-to delivery place. I say it’s usually good because I’ve found the food to be really inconsistent. Some days it’s amazing, and some days it’s not very good. I’ve had some really bad meals– watery curry, pad Thai with so little sauce it was like eating plain rice noodles– but then they bring me a dish that is so delicious it makes me give them a million more chances. I recommend you try them, and keep trying them, because the highs are worth the lows.

My boyfriend and I order from here almost weekly; we love it! Their menu is extensive as they have a huge variety of typical Thai foods. I exclusively order online and have never had any issues with delivery mix-ups or being overcharged, which I’m extremely grateful for! In fact, the delivery driver has texted me before he gets there to let me know he is leaving the delivery he just made to come to my house; it gives me a little bit of a heads up before he gets there! I’m a die-hard massaman curry fan. I know that this makes me a little bit of an unreliable Unilocaler, but I will always go for massaman curry if it is offered. That being said, A@Time’s massaman curry is awesome. The curry itself is spicy but the heat is offset by the coconut; the flavor of the curry is vibrant and all of the vegetables and meat match the flavors well. The vegetables are onions, bell peppers, and carrots and it is garnished with the traditional peanut crumbles. You can choose a protein(chicken, beef, shrimp, pork, tofu, crispy chicken, vegetables) and it comes with a side of jasmine rice. My boyfriend gets the 3 Kings Fried Rice; it has egg, shrimp, Chinese sausages, chicken, corn, carrots, peas, and green beans – a delightful amalgamation of varied flavors. The portion is huge, to be honest I’m surprised he can even eat it all at one sitting!

Great portions, spicy ka-pow burger w/fried egg. Curries smelled yummy, Thai tea– oh yeah! Chef came out to see how our meal was, fast friendly service. Highly recommended by this diner.

This place used to be my go to for Thai but slowly over the past couple of years I’ve seen some pretty serious decline in their ingredients and presentation. I ordered the pad Thai and veggie spring rolls. The only good part about this was that the food got here really quick. The pad Thai: bland noodles sitting in an inch of noodle water with about two vegetables in total. The dish was so watery and flavorless I had to throw my leftovers out. I didn’t even bother trying the chicken in the dish. The spring rolls: who are you kidding? These are legit right out of the microwave section at your local supermarket. Chemical taste and greasy as well. Over all, this is a good place if you can’t wait for more than ten minutes for food. If you’re looking for an actual good eat, look somewhere else.

Not bad, A@Time Thai Cuisine… not bad at all. Despite having one of the weirdest restaurant names ever(what the hell is A@Time? A at time?), the food was comparable to Rod Dee, which is the local standard when it comes to Thai food. We got a pad thai and a spicy tofu dish and enjoyed both immensely. The restaurant gets 4 stars because of cost. The total for 2 plates was over $ 27, which is actually a little more than what Rod Dee charges. I had a Groupon, which significantly brought down the cost, but this reason alone would be why I would probably not return to A@Time. When other options are comparably made, and more affordable, it is tough to justify going here. On a side note: why do Asian restaurants diversify and add random cuisine? This is a Thai restaurant, so why is Japanese food on their menu? Are Americans so used to thinking of all Asian food as interchangeable that they just assume someone from Thailand and someone from Japan are the same?

Ordered the ka-pow noodle dish to take home. They have it listed as an intermediate spicy entrée but boy was I surprised. When I first took a look at the size of the dish, I was afraid it wouldn’t be enough food. By the time I finished, I was absolutely stuffed! I didn’t take into account how much water I would be drinking while eating. The best part about the ka-pow noodle dish was that the flavor wasn’t lost in all the spice. Something I’d definitely order again.

Not impressed. Over priced, small portions and subpar food. For the price, I’d expect more from them in terms of quality and quantity. I got the crispy chicken and when the plate arrived to my table, half of the skin fell off already. Overdone. I went here because of groupon and will definitely go else where for way better Thai.

I ordered here late last night. They are open late! I ordered the vegetable pad Thai. It was good but too sweet. It also had pineapple in it which I’m not used to. I would have liked to have some tofu with it but they didn’t have that as an option. Overall 3.5 stars. I have had better Thai.

Generally, when I am in this area of Allston, I stick by the intersection of Brighton Ave and Harvard Ave, with brief forays to where Brighton Ave meets Cambridge Street. This time, an expiring voucher took me out to one of the businesses on Brighton Ave., namely A@Time, located on the corner of the cross street Denby Road. It was a tiny spot with two tables set for 4 apiece, one of which was occupied by a young boy busying himself, while his dad(I presume) offered to take my order. When I wondered at what to get, I found him to be quite willing to share his suggestions of what’s popular on the menu. First, was the Thai Famous Kow Rad Ka-Pow Gai Kai Dow $ 12.95, Stir-fried grounded chicken with bell pepper, basil leaves, and fried egg on top over rice. I noticed that item as being marked spicy in the menu, and commented that I’d need it mild, but if it couldn’t be made mild, just let me know. No problem. His second suggestion was Lamy’s Spicy Pad Thai(Meatless) $ 11.95 Pad Thai Lamy’s style!!! stir-fried rice noodle with red onion, turnip, egg, bean sprouts, scallion, grounded peanut, and crispy tofu. I had recently tried a Thai style pad thai at another establishment, so I was quite willing to sample A@Time’s version, and so I ordered both, reiterating — not spicy. My order didn’t take long, and by the time my bundle came home with me it was still quite warm enough, and the crispy tofu in the pad thai still interestingly crispy. I enjoyed Lamy’s non-Spicy Pad Thai with its sour flavor notes, but unfortunately the kitchen had made my ground chicken dish quite spicy. However, I found the restaurant’s response to my unhappy surprise quite satisfactory. Tip:(I asked…) Their combo or set items, which are served with a choice of appetizers and soda, are about half the size of the a la carte entrée. Update: Later I ended up sharing the spicy Kow Rad Ka-Pow Gai Kai Dow with some spice eaters. Even after having been refrigerated and reheated, they really liked it!

After looking up A@time on Unilocal & seeing that it had an average rating of 4 stars, I found myself rather disappointed when I ordered from them & received bland tasting Pad Thai. The one positive aspect of my A@time experience was that I received my delivery in 30 minutes during the dinner rush. If you are in the Allston/Brighton area & looking to order some Thai for delivery, I’d try Dok Bua or Bamboo Thai instead.

I have sampled a lot of Thai food in Boston. I’m not an expert, but out of all of restaurants I have ordered from, A@Time is significantly better. I have ordered from A@Time alone over 10 times in the last year, have never had a problem, and have always been pleased. I love spicy food and have a good tolerance level with it. That being said, their«spicy» is intense, and when I get it, I have to take breaks because my mouth feels on fire. Sometimes I get«medium» just so I can eat in peace(but it still has a kick). I love their Pad Thai, Old Country Pad Thai, Crazy Noodle, Pad See Iew, and Basil Fried Rice. I always get chicken, so I can’t speak to the other meats(except their Crispy Chicken: only thing that has been somewhat disappointig– tastes good but doesn’t seem like great quality). All are delicious, but I order Old Country Pad Thai a lot. Everything is just so flavor-packed. All in all A@Time is my go-to and I would absolutely recommend!

I have been ordering from A@Time for months. Generally it’s very good. But today the order was just so awful I had to leave a review. I ordered a Bacon and Fried Rice meal and the bacon was literally uncooked. Like they just threw bacon into a bunch of fried rice. Ridiculous. My girlfriend got a Red Curry and the curry sauce was so watery. We looked at each other and after a few forkfuls are ordering pizza. Edit: okay okay. I’m updating my rating with a higher review. One bad meal doesn’t discount all the good meals I’ve had here. I’ve had 10 good experiences and one bad. That’s a good ratio. The Indonesian fried rice is amazing. This place is still good.

I’m not really sure what went wrong, but I ordered a Crispy Chicken Cashew and a Veggie Puff Pie for takeout and I walked out with Crispy Chicken Cashew and Tofu Pad Thai. I was excited for that Veggie Puff Pie too. The CrispChikCashew was tres greasy, but the chicken was really high quality, which is surprisingly rare in the world of takeout. No weird grisly bits or anything, and it was all chopped into perfectly bite sized chunks, which I appreciated heartily from my place on the floor of my apartment shoveling it into my face to old 30 Rock episodes. It could have used more juice to soak the rice, but the only liquid in it was the copious grease. This is not to say it wasn’t tasty, it was, anything with that much grease is bound to be, but I’ve definitely had better in the area. I probably won’t be back just because there are better Thai places in the area, but from what I saw of their menu, they do have some really interesting and unique items that you couldn’t get anywhere else so if you fall in love with one of those it would definitely be worth it. Other stuff: $ 5 credit card minimum.

I have never given a late night food delivery place a 5 star review. Nor have I ever bothered to write a review for one(if the quality sucks, I tell myself I deserve it for not eating at a human time of day). This place has changed all that. The food arrived so HOT that my bf actually asked me how far away the restaurant was. That is a pretty good compliment. What is an even better compliment is that, after one bite, my bf declared that these were the best pad thai noodles he’s ever had and we’ve had some pad thai in our lives. What really set it apart is the spice. I choose the mild spicy and I highly recommend people stick to that if you are a «casual» eater of spicy foods. Only go higher if you REALLY can take it. I also got the Tom Yum soup and it was delicious as well. think that this place doesn’t do anything crazy with its ingredients but its flavoring is TOPNOTCH. We will definitely order again(soon)!

It was a 11pm kind of night, wondering the street of Allston after a late night of work — trying to find some grub but everything was closed! A @ Time saved my life that night; probably might have starve to death –notreally– if I didn’t see that beautiful open sign. From that point on we form a mutual relation of me ordering takeout when I’m lazy and they bringing pippin’ hot food to my door step. The first thing I got that night was bacon fried rice; BUTITSHAM. I swear Canadian bacon gets my hope up for real bacon every time –_– It’s kind of different from what my taste bud is use to; there’s a hidden spice that randomly punch you in the face after a few bite. I usually order their dinner combo: Pad thai crispy chicken is a beauty; but DAYUM Spicy crab Rangoon got me obsessed. Is it ridiculous if I order that combo w scr and then get a full order of spicy crab rangoon? Sometime I’m only craving their rangoon but I order the whole dinner just to get them to deliver to me XD I occasionally deviates and get Old Country Pad Thai … Lamy’S Spicy Pad Thai is another choice when I want to get my tofu on. they also recently added new things on the menu: bentos! But I moved to a far far away part of Boston now they wont deliver to me :’( I go between ordering food here and S&I so that they wont see how obsess with thai food I am… Their delivery guy is always nice and doesn’t try to glare me to death. Always on time, always hot food, always a happy customer :)

I ate at this place twice. The first time was for delivery and the second time my friend and I came here because no other restaurants were opened at 12AM. So yes, this place is super convenient when you are hungry late at night! I had their pad thai and fried spring rolls. Super delicious! I love that their spring rolls were not stuffed with vegetables, so it wasn’t an overwhelming amount of vegetables with a small portion of dough. If that makes sense, haha. I would definitely be back for their spring rolls and to try other things on the menu!

Usually ordering our Thai food from S&I, we were intrigued by the bacon pad thai and decided to broaden our horizons! I am definitely a fan! We had a ton of delicious food that lasted us into the next couple of days. The servings of soup are huge, which was a plus for me, because I am addicted to wonton soup, and theirs is in my top 3(I also like the yellow noodles that it came with)! We also ordered the appetizers of the scallion pancakes, chicken satay, and entrees of Lo Mein and Pineapple fried rice. the Scallion pancakes were crispy and flavorful and went perfectly with the ginger sauce that accompanied them. Exactly what scallion pancakes are supposed to be! The only small disappointment was that there were maybe 2 – 3 pieces of pineapple in my fried rice, and it was overwhelmed with vegetables. It didn’t detract from the flavor at all, just worth noting! I can’t wait to order from A@Time again, there are so many things on the menu we want to try! Now that I know they can do my favorites, I’m ready to branch out
