Sal was very attentive to our needs! Hookah is always great here! Definitely recommend fried oreos!

Great place to go and relax with your friends. Sal was our helper, he was really nice and made sure we enjoyed our time. I would def recommend this place if you’re in the neighborhood. (And they play good music !)

Phenomenal hookah bar! By far our favorite. Looked all over the city for a place that could rival The Nile… None even come remotely close. Ask for Stephanie! She really knows her stuff and is super friendly! If you’re not sure what flavor to go with, she’s got great taste. Our whole party said they’re planning on coming back next weekend, you should too!

They know how to pack a hookah here. I’d recommend getting there early for good seats because this place gets crowded pretty quickly. Be sure to ask for Sal — he knows the right tricks to make your hookah less harsh.

Cute lil spot with a sexy atmosphere due to its dim lighting. People were bringing their laptops and doing work while smoking hookah like a Starbucks which I thought was cool, but if you’re looking for a turn up avoid this spot because it’s vibes are extremely laid back. The music could’ve made the environment better as well, it was outdated rock/pop. Overall it was forgettable and I don’t see myself coming back.

Me and my boyfriend like to come here for hookah whenever we come to Boston. We usually come in during the week, and it’s petty quiet and relaxing. The servers are so nice and helpful without being overbearing. We loved our server Stephanie! She was very attentive and sweet! My favorite hookah on the menu is the SLP, which is lemon and pomegranate with lemons in the bottom of the hookah. I usually go with that one but they have so many other suggestions on the menu! After the first time I got a tea there I had to go out and buy a loose leaf strainer because it is so cool and makes the best teas! Definitely recommend to check this place out. Will be back:)

Pros: one of the few places to smoke hookah in Boston area. Our server, Sal, was very welcoming and took care of our large group. The shisha was good. Cons: the décor could use work to make the place cuter.

We first walked in there was a wait –___– keep in mind it’s like 12:30am and the list was probably about 8 people. The guy that took our name and number said that he was going to call the people on the list then let us know and to give him like 20−30min. When he said that we also noticed about 3 open tables and it didn’t seem to me like he was going to call. I worked as a hostess when you put people on a wait list people leave to go find something else to do especially at 12:30. So we left to go check out another hookah bar and they we booked up but there list was definitely longer and that guy was surely not going to call us at all. So we decided to go back and see what’s the word on the free tables we saw that were on hold. When we came back Beth greeted us and we told her how we were on the list and she sat us with no issue she also let us know the guy we spoke to that it was his first day which explained a lot. She also knew how the way of the night goes as far as just seating people as they come you can’t always wait in people to come back and etc. Sal was our server he was awesome we ordered parmesan fries with a watermelon hookah. Sal constantly checked on us to make sure everything was cool he also made sure to switch out the coals. We also chatted with him he’s a good guy and an awesome severer. The staff was cool as well. The vibe of the lounge was great it was a great mix of all types of music and people. The reason why I would give it a 4 instead of 5 was because the hassle of getting a table when there were 3 open tables and a list that didn’t look like it was being looked at and we didn’t have a light under our hookah when we looked around we were the only one without so tho it’s a small thing it’s a big deal to the ambiance and you want all your guests to feel like they are getting the full affect. But Beth and Sal definitely made sure to fix the lil quick fix with the light and I appreciate their positive vibes. I will definitely be checking back in with this hookah lounge to see if it’s as awesome as this time hopefully better so I can say it’s 5 stars!

I love this place. I used to work at a hookah lounge in NYC that was very reputable, and I’d have to say that the Nile is definitely as good, if not better! All of the staff are very friendly and know hookah(most of them anyways.) The Nile offers a lot of suggested blends, so it’s great for people who don’t know what flavors they prefer to smoke but they also have the option to custom make your hookah, with a lot of fun options like fruit bowls or different base additions! A lot of these reviews mention the fried oreos, and they are definitely amazing but they have Parmesan truffle fries which are amazing and deserve better recognition. Definitely check this place out if you want a good quality hookah and friendly service! The only warning I would give is that because it is so popular it gets really busy on the weekends, so plan to be put on a wait list on a Friday or Saturday!

I like how they have big windows, and they open those big windows. Not that it says much about their product or customer service though the 5 stars should serve as a good indicator. You might be thinking to yourself why is this kid so obsessed with the windows? Well after you’ve been in a hookah shop for half an hour its nice to have a breeze roll through. And hookah is pretty much the same price throughout Allston so you might as well go somewhere with open windows.

I love this place! I don’t go to boston often, but when I do, I HAVE to stop in at Nile! They have several different flavored hookahs to choose from, and I try a different one everytime! My favorite thus far is the Sangria hookah! It comes in a pineapple bowl and it has lemons and pomegranate juice in the base. I would highly recommend that hookah! The service is great! Marina is very attentive and maintains the hookah nicely. The desserts at Nile are to die for… especially the fried Oreos with caramel dipping sauce! I can’t help but to order them every time I visit. I highly recommend it!

This place is a blast! From The moment you walk in I get nothing but great vibes! The music is always on point and the red neon lights give the place a night club feel! Although there are so many hookah flavors to choose from… my hands down favorite is the Miami Vice! It automatically comes in a pineapple bowl and it’s so smooth! I would highly recommend Nile lounge!

The hookah here is very western. The service, the style of the place, etc. However, it’s not bad shisha at all and the service is friendly and knowlegable. The manager did try to hint at us to leave while we were still smoking once, but other than that I have had good experiences here, and the loose leaf tea presentation is pretty cool.

Literally the best hookah bar in the Boston area. They have a great selection to smoke or snack on including FRIEDOREOS. YES you heard that right FRIEDOREOS. Also, the environment is super welcoming and it’s always a great time.

I. Freaking. Love this place. I’ve only been here a couple times, but have received great service every time. The waitstaff(hooka staff? Is there a proper term for you guys?) are friendly, helpful, and most importantly didn’t judge me for being a hooka newbie. I, of course, had no idea where to start or what to order, but Adam was great in recommending bowls and whatever we smoked was awesome. Make sure you try to snag one of the comfy booths/benches/whatever the heck you call those things. They’re mad comfy and I appreciated that I could chill on them cross-cross-apple-sauce style. OH. And fried Oreos. Your heart may not thank you(though honestly, you’re probably not that nice to your organs in general, you are smoking after all) but your mouth will think it’s died and gone to heaven.

Look no further, Nile Lounge IS the best spot for hookah in Boston. My group has some very traditional hookah smokers, and some others who just like a new challenge or new flavor. Nile fit us perfect. Our Order: 1 Mint 1 SuperLemon Pomegranate 1 dbl Apple We added apple bowls and lemons came in the base of the pomegranate. The hookahs were clean and pulled perfectly. The dbl apple was perfectly dried, while the mint was stiff and a perfect way to digest and relax after my Shabu dinner a couple doors down. The couches are comfortable — the staff is great too! The manager is great — he’s stern and to the point, but he takes care of you if you work & listen to him. He is running the place… The owner is so cool — knowledgeable and chill.

I don’t smoke hookah often but when I do, I head to a lounge. I went to Nile for the first time a few weeks ago and that night, the special was the piña colada. The girl who assisted me suggested adding mint to it to give it a refreshing taste. It was DELICIOUS. Very smooth and smoked really nicely. Flavour was great. Overall, I really love the ambience and music — very chill and perfect place to smoke some hookah. The wait staff is really helpful and friendly Oh and the parmesan truffle fries are awesome. Definitely coming back soon!

I was visiting the Boston area recently and out with some friends looking for something to do… We were driving around Allston(parking was a nightmare) and we stumbled upon Nile Lounge. At first glance, the place definitely looked cooler than most of the hookah lounges I’ve seen; their LED sign outside draws you in like a moth to a candle. We walked in and the staff was immediately friendly and accommodating; they let us pick where we wanted to sit which I liked. The menu was pretty extensive so we asked our server for some help picking out what was best. She suggested the 007 with lemons in the base and the fried Oreos. Naturally(being a fatty) I ordered her suggestions; plus a hot chocolate(it was cold, don’t judge me) and I was impressed with the presentation when it came out. Everything tasted amazing and I would DEFINITELY recommend giving them a try. The staff came by pretty frequently to tend the coals and even helped teach me how to blow smoke rings(my attempts were pathetic). I highly recommend giving this place a try! The only downside I could think of would be how busy it gets; it filled up pretty quick once we sat down so definitely go early!

Over rated. There’s a smoke intake so the room doesn’t fill up with smoke that keeps smoke from bending as much as you’d want it to, to pull off smoke tricks. If you don’t end up with a couch you’ll be most uncomfortable at a table. Food is good but super basic. Fries and fried oreos are worth getting. Fruit topped hookah bowls never work the way you want it to. Doesn’t get milky enough& when the staff attempts to fix bowls with hotter coals the sheesa burns to harshly. Try to keep your group to a minimum or you’ll get treated without reason(I know because its happened several times with me, with different people I’ve gone with)& charged fees on your bill, your group will also have to order more hookahs as per their 4person per hookah rule. Unless you want to get over-charged on your bill def order tap water. Don’t try and bring outside food/drinks the staff freaks out. Truly they need a bouncer type outside during nights to ID, its quite inconvenient when a large group walks in and they have to leave because one person forgot their ID.(Revised due to comments) Tons of Luck Nile.
