O’ Shea’s Towing Service

These guys are phenomenal. I had killed my car battery to the point where it wouldn’t even unlock — they came very quickly, were able to get the door unlocked and the battery charged up for me very quickly! Additionally the car was in a hotel parking garage and their tow truck wouldn’t fit in the garage but he was so nice about walking his tools up to the third floor to help me out. I highly recommend this company!!!

My car broke down in Belmont and I called O’Shea’s towing service based on the reviews on Unilocal and I am glad I did. Usually I associate towing with a negative experience but I could say the opposite about O’Shea’s. They helped me get my car to the dealership in Newton and then even offered me a ride back to my apartment. I hope to never have to use a tow truck service again but if I did I would definitely call these guys. Two thumbs up!

Great service. Helped move a company vehicle out of a garage and get it to the garage. Scheduled time and was there promptly.

These guys are great and know what they are doing.
My car broke down in a covered parking garage and in the words of the parking manager «nobody has been able to tow away a car from here — you have to push it out».
Brandon came in at the appointed time and managed to get the car out the first try — three floors up of twisty tight turns and not even a single time needed to back up.
Car is at the mechanic and I’m very satisfied with their towing services!

Brendan at O’Sheas was so wonderful! We were in a bind and needed the car to be towed during rush hour and he graciously picked it up within 15 min and took to from Brighton to South shore Sears. Very friendly and good prices!

You know you had a good experience when you look forward to the next reason to be towed! I was ready for a hassle after calling a handful of places early in the morning but now I have a tow company to rely on in the future. The company knew the neighborhood and the auto shop in allston. He was incredibly pleasant, and the rate was really reasonable! They were responsive and timely. It can honestly be hard to find good people and businesses in town and I can’t imagine anyone coming close to being as wonderful to work with here. It feels a little weird to be in a better mood due to having my car towed.

Let me start by saying that most people would never associate pleasant memories with a towing experience HOWEVER O’Shea’s Towing is the exception.
I have lived in Boston for 10 years and have heard my share of towing horror stories.
I went outside of my apartment one day to find my car gone, immediately thinking it was stolen I called the BPD and was told that Frank’s ABC Towing (Allston) hit it while it was parked on the street and that is was towed to O’Shea’s because it was pushed onto the sidewalk due to the impact of the hit. I called O’Sheas Towing upset and irritated, O’shea’s Towing was very helpful, understanding and to my surprise empathetic. Brendan explained thoroughly what the correct steps were to move forward.
My car was held in his lot for over two weeks while the insurance went through their motiions/​antics. Brendan from O’Shea’s was accomodating, genuine and most importantly honest. He made a very frustrating and negative experience, tolerable.
I strive to support small businesses as much as I can and my experience with O’Shea’s Towing not only reminded me how small businesses differ from the larger corporate competitors but how his company in particular stands out from the rest of the towing world.
Tow truck drivers get a bad reputation because ruthless tow companies like Robert’s and Frank’s ABC Towing ruin it for the rest of the bunch but someone has to do it and if you are every in need of a tow I reccommend O’Shea’s Towing 100%. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option.
After the arduous process with Frank’s ABC Towing, it was nice to see that there are still some kind people in the less than glamorous towing world.
