I love The Draft! I live in the neighborhood and have been coming in for years. The owners are always around and taking care of customers. Great draft beer selection. The food is GOOD too, it’s not always the case with pubby places. Particularly the Cajun chicken sandwich, and they have the best sweet potato fries in town. The outdoor patio in the warmer months is a friggin oasis. Get there early though because spots go quickly! I will forever be a fan of this place. Great neighborhood spot.

Taking a star away since one of the 2 stalls in the ladies bathroom was missing the toilet paper holder.

I love everything about the draft. From their 35 cent wings on Sunday, their DJ, the service etc. It’s such a pleasure to go and relax for a few drinks or to have a quick bite. Def recommend this bar if you’re in the area.

Rudest staff ever. After asking server if they serve miller light bottles our server said she thinks so. Not one, not 2, but 3 people in our party individually orders miller lite bottles. The server brought 3 bud lights and we said there must be a mistake we ordered miller lite. She informed us that we were all mistaken that we said bud light. She looked confused and accused Us Again of being wrong. When we informed her we were not accepting them she again insisted we did. What ever happened to the customer being the customer. Never again.

This used to be a kind of back-up night out for me, but after discovering the patio this summer it’s become our go-to place to grab a beer. This place is maybe one step above dive bar, so don’t expect too much. The bathroom doors don’t lock properly, the waitstaff is polite but not overly friendly, and the crowd can be a little ratchet. These things are sort of «part of the charm.» BUT. They offer $ 9 pitchers of Miller High Life and other very reasonable pitchers. The patio has couches, a fire pit, and corn hole, AND there’s a full bar with TVs out there. There’s almost never a line(unlike at TITS or occasionally Common Ground), and there’s a pool table and darts inside. One time I ordered fries and they were actually really really good. Can’t speak for the rest of the food but good fries are a good sign. Definitely a fun place to spend a Friday night.

I usually go here on the weekends to have drinks. The staff are nice and they have a DJ playing music(could be more up to date with the music).Usually weekends this bar gets turned into a mini bootleg club lol. People dancing on the floor around the pool tables and on the small stage. Kind of crowded inside with all the college students but at least there’s no long line like White Horse or Tavern in the Square. I went here on a weekday after a job training nearby and I experienced a completely different atmosphere. Much more casual and relaxing with few people. They have a patio and fireplace in the back with a bar where people can smoke. Every day they have a food special, some come with a beer. I’ve tried the pulled pork sliders and it was OKAY. Not the best but I really came for the drinks haha

About to close my tab here, which was the fastest part of my visit here, and I’m trying to figure out why the server had a stack of credit cards in her apron mixed in with mine? Fifteen minutes before I was even greeted, cold $ 1 sliders, and only checked on once? Crazy. Maybe I shouldn’t be on the patio.

Went for dinner on a Tuesday night and got the beer and burger special for $ 7! Unbeatable food specials each day of the week. Definitely recommend this spot to someone ballin on a budget. The back patio is a good place to have a casual bite to eat and some drinks with friends.

LOL at the people coming on here actually critiquing this place… hello people, its a bar not a dining establishment(but for bar food they do OK). This place is a ton of fun during the summer. They have a back patio with a fire pit and there’s always some sort of food/beer deal going on. On Tuesdays they do beer pong night if you cant let your college days go. This is a good place to make a fool of yourself and have fun with your friends. Also, and this is a side note, the manager of this bar kicks butt. Hes very attentive and super friendly. I support this business.

My «Greek» Salad had tofu instead feta. My Jameson and diet barely had any whiskey in it. I even had my friend who hates whiskey try it to detect any. Barely any meatless options. 2 stars for the nice servers!

Gave this place another try, lured by their delicious wings. Service was much better. Sat out on the back patio around 7 on a Monday evening, and it was fabulous. I love that you can get any of their array of draught beverages in a pitcher, as on a hot day, Downeast Cider is the key to my heart. We tried the nachos, too, which were great, but the star continues to be those incredible wings. This will be my go-to for future wing fixes, whether it be on a .35 wing day or not.

My favorite late night drinking place in Allston. Unpretentious and no annoying college frat boys dressed in pastels(although that may just be because it is summer). Cheap-ish beer and big tvs

The Draft is perfect for cheap wings, or the infamous burger and a beer night where you can get a craft brew and a burger for the price of just the beer at most places. We love coming here and always have EXCELLENT service!

Poor selection of bad wine. Not much else to say about food/drink. The USA is playing in World Cup. Last time I came in they instead of showing US women’s game they were showing the men’s semi finals for college track. They did change a few televisions when I pointed out that the World Cup was more important that college track semifinals. But not tonight. They couldn’t spare 1 of their 8+ televisions for USA in the World Cup. There were about 15 patrons in the bar when we were there. At that ratio they could have spared one television for our group.

I love the Draft in the summer! The patio is great, so chill, and pretty big. They have a bar outside too which is great, so it’s more of a lounge space. I had wings and pretzels the other night too and they were pretty good! It will be another Draft summer !

I met one of the owners ‘Derek’ who had complete control of the bar with 2 other servers/bar tenders. Great vibes in that place every time I go in with people, groups BTW(2 – 15)…juke box, pool table, darts, comedians, magicians and food deals that with have you thinking of the bar any time you’re in Allston/Brighton. Their 35¢ wings on Sunday and Monday is a hit in the area with a choice of many flavors including, ‘coopertown’ that makes my mouth water; paired with a nice cold Blue moon draught is the best combo. I was introduced to place a while back when my cousin insisted we go in one night; one of the best decisions we could make. At some point I did a no carb diet that went to s*** when I hadddd to order their freshly baked cookie. Takes 30mins because they bake them to order, welllll worth my cheat! Great place to get a nice cold one and enjoy someone’s company. Their out door patio in the back during the summer is a treat. Complete with umbrella tables and a full bar/TVs. Def a bar to visit& revisit!

This place is off the beaten path from the rest of the bars in town. I been here during lunch and a night. The is pretty much different every time I go… There could be a bunch of Irish dudes here on a J1 visa getting rowdy and spitting horrible game to the young ladies coming to the bar. The food is pretty good, the staff is awesome and if you frequent the place often they try to always remembering you. Check it out you wont be disappointed!

Talk about a great dive bar that doesn’t actually feel like a dive bar. The Draft is located in Allston off the beaten path. That being said, this bar avoids the fratty college crowd you’ll find at white horse and TITS. FOOD Every night the draft has some sort of food deal. Sundays and Mondays are wing night and let me just say, their wings are phenomenal. Only downside, you have to order your wings in groups of 6. I can usually only eat about 10 so I always end up with extra. The draft also hosts trivia, burger and a beer night, and $ 1 slider night. I’ve only been to the draft on wing night, but judging from the quality of wings I’ll bet the other food options are great too. DRINKS The drinks are normal Boston prices usually between $ 4-$ 6. However, there are some cheaper options like Miller Highlife for those just looking for a cheap beer. OVERALL On Fridays and Saturdays the draft gets pretty lively. The music is good and the crowd is definitely different from the more popular Allston bars. If you’re looking for a bar minus the dance floor and rowdy college crowd The Draft is definitely for you.

When summer hits Allston, and the patios open up, and I remember why I frequent this business. Because its nice to lounge on the patio with a cold drink. Also, as would be appropriate, The Draft has a decent draft list. But not as good as other places in the area. Winter is not nearly as pleasant, so I save my trips to the Draft strictly for summer time
