Albertsons

My go to market, its not the best in selection but its way cheaper than safeway. I do appreciate the staff at thiftway more. The staff here arent great but not bad either. Good amount of parking but shares it with the strip mall so sometimes you have to park a bit far, sometimes

I have been visiting this Albertsons for most of my adult life. When I moved out of my house, my first apartment was nearby so this was where I shopped. As I have gotten older and pickier about my food, my visits here are few and far between.
I do happen to like their fried chicken, in my estimation it is better and cheaper than both Popeyes and KFC, so when the fried chicken craving hits, this is my joint most times (which is about 4 times a year).
The store itself is old, dirty, and needs a face lift badly, the parking lot is a zoo, always jam packed and I have to park quite a ways away to keep my baby cars safe.
I stupidly sent my husband here yesterday to pick up some items I noticed on sale, when he got home I checked the receipt and noticed he had been charged full price for the Campbell’s Tomato Soup which their ad indicated was on sale for 88 cents a can! I can only imagine how many poor souls have been charged double the sale price for their soup and never noticed it.
I called and spoke to the «Manager on duty» which is probably a 17 year old, told her about my issue and she offered to give me a refund if I came and brought my receipt. I told her I don’t have time for that, but to please make sure their registers are charging people the correct amount.
I also find their prices to be quite high for most items.

Since this is the closest supermarket to my home I have been here many times. It is always a mixed bag. The convenience of the store along with the fact it is not too busy is the only reason I come here. I have noticed (along with my neighbors and friends) that their younger staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have received many comments that have made me question why I should ever return. Now I know that the thrift way down the street is the way to go even though it is further and more expensive!

I am cheap, I come here for «Cheap Chicken Mondays.»
Great fast, friendly service from Chris every week. The line tends to get long because their is one counterperson and I guess I am not the only cheap person in Beaverton.
The parking lot sucks, I don’t know what it is, but every spot seems far from the door.
Nonetheless, quick fast service!

A trippy place but not straight up annoying like the stores that have done an overhaul and you need sunglasses for it. Interesting crowd and that is coming from a Santa Cruzian.
My only complaint? The parking lot is a bit of a zoo.
Totally safe neighborhood, easy to run in and run out. And since Haggen is going away? I gotta find something I can deal with. (We go to TJ’s for 85% of our food.)
