Great mexican food and chicken enchiladas. Their s also is really good and that’s super important to me as I’m very picky with my mexican food. Check this place out!

I gave this another whirl the other day with the sweetheart. We had our food to go. He ordered the special which was a grilled chicken with rice, beans, and pico de gallo(which was delicious). I ordered a combination plate of gorditas and enchilada. Pork. For both. The service is spotty. Since they were taking so long with the order, the sweetheart went to buy some corn at a store down the street. This left me with my two dogs, chilling on the outdoor patio in the parking lot and waiting for the food. It arrived five minutes later, go figure. I gave him my card to run and presumably, seeing that my hands were occupied with two bags of food and two dogs, bring it back to me. Five minutes go by. Okay, it might be busy in there. Another five go by and I asked the grill guy how long it takes to run a card. The card and receipt promptly arrived. I feel like I had mystery meat in my gorditas and enchilada. I think I had enchilada. I couldn’t really tell underneath the pico de gallo and dollop of sour cream and refried beans. I hope it was pork. I certainly have had better pork elsewhere. I feel like I should have just gone to one of the three taco trucks we walked past or Lupes. The special the sweetheart ordered was delicious though. Would I come back here? No. at least not by my choice.

Smaller fresher and better than Don Chilitos(TV hwy) around the corner. I come here about once a week for lunch. It’s all good. taqueria style no frills and very clean. A mini Sanchez Taqueria(hwy 99 in Tigard) Recently went here for a breakfast burrito and was absolutenfreakinloutly blown away! For $ 3.50 you get a humongous fresh hot off the grill egg and sausage burrito that has lots of fresh veggies too. You won’t be disappointed.

3.5 rounded up. I’ve been once. It was solid. very solid food. I was pleased! Nothing that’ll really blow your mind. The al pastor tacos I had were real good. Marinated well. Sweet, savory. Cooked in a hot pan(you can hear and smell this… great stuff) to put a nice dark crust on it. Prices are fairly standard for mexican places in the beaverton area. maybe .50-$ 1 more. This place has a menu similar to Don chilitos. I’d say this al pastor taco was much much better than don chilitos, a restaurant I also frequent and love. The hot sauces are awesome! The green avacado, creamy sauce is like a peruvian hot sauce. It’s simply great. Check this place out if you want some new flavors!

My fiancé whom is from Mexico, LOVES the Asada tacos here. On the weekends there is a guy outside that cooks them up for you on the grill with all the fixin’s on the side. My fiancé says they remind him of the ones in Mexico because of the greasy tortillas lol. I personally like the al pastor. It’s seasoned really well and they top it with pineapple. We had the tacos a few times then today we decided to try the food from inside. We ended up getting an asada tostada, shrimp ceviche tostada, and Mexican chorizo plate. Asada tostada– disappointed that the tostada shell was store bought like out of a bag. It was topped with homemade refried beans, carne asada, lettuce, cheese, and tomato. Nothing amazing but it was good. Shrimp ceviche tostada– ceviche is when the protein is cooked with citrus. In this case it was shrimp marinated in lime juice. The shrimp was then mixed with pico de gallo(tomato, onion, cilantro, lime juice), put on a store bought tostada shell and topped with avacado slices. Flavor was good but it was too much pico and not enough shrimp in my opinion. Mexican chorizo plate– chunks of chorizo sausage scrambled with eggs and small onions served with rice and beans and a side of flour tortillas. If you like chorizo and eggs, you’ll enjoy this. Portion was rather large too. Sides– their salsas are really good. While I prefer the less spicy red, my fiancé loves the super spicy green which seems to have Avacado in it. The horchata is a bit grainy but they insist they make it themselves. Will make it back here soon and probably try the mole pablano.

Another great taco joint. weekends they have a gentleman outside making el pastor tacos fresh. They are great. The tacos are in the 1.50 range and worth every penny. The hot sauce is good, the meat isn’t fatty, and the people are nice. You should eat here.

Though friendly, the food wasn’t worth it. The Taco salad shell and the mild salsa were store bought. The chili relleno was soggy on the outside and the cheese was like a block on the inside. There was no meat with the Taco salad either. Come to find out you have to ask for it. On the upside, The chips were freshly made to order and the hot salsa was good. Come here again? Jury is still out. Might have to try something else to be fair.

Tacos por favor should think about renaming to tacos no bueno. Upon entering I took a look at their menu and thought ok they have lengua that is a good sign. I asked if the tacos were taqueria style tacos cause they seemed above average price for that style… after a short silence and a blank stare I said you know with cilantro and onions… longer blank stare… con cilantro y cebollas… at long last I get a response«uh yeah they’re regular.» I know this should have sent up red flags but I carried on… I ordered two carnitas tacos cause they no longer carry lengua. I wanted a bean and cheese burrito and I didn’t see it listed so I asked if they had it. After asking the cook in spanish if they had it to which he replies sure I can make it. in spanish, she informs me they do. Ok cool I’m thinking now maybe this place won’t be so bad. my order arrives and I’m informed my bean and cheese burrito is 4.50(seems expensive to me but ok) I pay and ask for some salsa roja on the side, I get salsa verde… I ask again and I’m informed the red sauce is very spicy you wouldn’t like it, oh sorry far be it for me to know what I like and what I don’t like, I politely inform her I would be ok and that I like spicy food. At long last with my order and red sauce in hand I head home. When I get home I find tacos that are in flour tortillas with meat, lettuce and cheese and that’s it. I sigh as I open the box containing my bean and cheese burrito hoping beyond hope I will find a hidden treasure I mean it was nearly five bucks it’s gotta be good right… wrong… it had so much rice in it that I couldn’t even find the beans, it was sonora style and topped with red enchalada sauce and sour cream… I didn’t want any of these things I asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. The only thing good I have to say is that the quality of the carnitas was good.

GREATFOOD! Go here for simple, good mexican food. The crunchy tacos are fantastic. Great to go, or eat there. Small very clean place, no real ambiance. Come for the home made everything, great value too.
