If you need a tow truck for a legitimate reason (car broke down, keys locked in, etc) take your money elsewhere and support better business practices. These douchebags make their bread mostly by towing the very residents of the contracted apartment parking lots they prowl.

Scam of a company going around trying to make a quick buck. WARNING TO APARTMENT RESIDENTS IN BEAVERTON AREA: If by chance you manage to park AN INCH in any red, or something happens where you end up parking somewhere that isnt a parking spot (but your apartment complex is fine with it) YOU WILL BE TOWED OVER NIGHT BY THIS SKETCHY TOWING COMPANY. They came either in the middle of the night/​early morning and towed our car WITHOUT asking our apartment complex’s permission. Obviously they are desperate for money if they are just driving around complex’s looking for any car to tow. SHADY.

MY DEBIT was charged twice and I was told I had 10 minutes to come up with the cash or threatened with a additional $ 40-​well employees/​owner claimed it didn’t go through and demanded the cash plus additional $ 40! Guess what checked my debit and he had charged my debit twice!, Called several times wanting my $ 40 over charge because the swindler lied and ignored calls and argued over phone. By the way I actually have liked every towing company but most have credible policies!

Garbage. Scum of the earth. Thieves.
Broke the rules of our apartment complex and towed me, $ 150 for them to press a button and drop it.
How do people like this sleep at night?
The best part? When I call them because someone is parked infront of my garage… 45 min later I am late to work and no tow truck!

I have read all the reviews here already and I have nothing different to say about this business in general… they are just scamming people and making as much money as they can. But I want to talk about the person I had to deal with. Everything he said and did was very provocative. I don’t know what his name is, but I hope he brings his bony ass to this website and reads this. He needs to know how made me feel.
I live at Rock Creek 185 and this towing company is about 6 miles away. The guy working on that night probably waited in the dark, like a predator looking for a prey, and towed my car quickly (in about 10 min) around 10:00PM. He left no signs or notes in the spot. I had to call 3 emergency numbers to realize that this loser took it. When I contacted him to pick up my car, he pretended to be ‘very busy’ and gave me a bunch of BS. He was rude, not unwittingly, but intentionally. Not only was he rude, but he also talked as if his time was ‘so valuable’, perhaps because he could have preyed on others in that time, that if I couldn’t arrive on time for my appointment to pick up my car, he would have to charge 50 more. And when I reached his office around 10:50PM, he was still on his way. He arrived 5 minutes later, sat in his truck talking over the phone for 5 more minutes while I was waiting out there in the cold. He then got out and opened that so called office. The moment I stepped in, I saw a laminated certificate saying that he was the world’s greatest boss or something like that. His shirt has probably not seen a washer in several months. I paid 280 (only cash or debit accepted at this stupid business). If I were not the resident of the property, it would have been 330.
I met one more person who also went through a very similar experience 7 months ago at Nexus apartments (which is also about 6 miles away from this place) and they also paid around 350. I think these people are not just careless or casual, they are intentionally rude. They know that they are leeching people and instead of being professional and objective, they are mistreating people.
I cannot do anything because he was ‘legally right’. But after seeing this behavior, I hope these people brush someone, much worse than them, in the wrong way and get screwed really bad. They seem to think that they can treat people anyway they like.
And why the hell do I even have to give a 1 star for this business. As trivial as it is, it’s still a waste of a click.
PS: I toned down my language quite a bit because I heard over the radio that some idiots can sue people for expressing honest opinions. I’ve got better things to do than get into legal issues with these idiots.

Last night, 11−12−14, I got towed. My girlfriend lives in an apartment complex in Beaverton. We decided to take her car into downtown Portland because it is a lot easier to negotiate than my truck. I backed into her spot at the apartment complex. Because we forgot to put the parking permit in my truck window, I got towed. That was our fault for not remembering, I take full responsibility for that. My issue with the tow was: $ 200 hook fee, $ 5 a mile (8 miles), because it was 4wd ($ 60), once he backed my truck into his garage and I was there for that $ 60, service call for $ 20, and an after hours gate fee of $ 40. This to me seems excessive. Putting this out there so it doesn’t happen to you. I did save $ 10 because he didn’t add right.

do not ever use or deal with these horrible people! after paying the $ 190 drop fee to get my car the driver pulling out of my appartments hit me with his truck!!! imade a police report and called titan towing. titan told me to fuck off and then threatened me!!! the driver was # 44 and i don’t know the guy on the phones name, but i will follow up.

Betsy was great to work with! She really helped us out when we got towed. It’s a towing company, so people are always in a bad mood when they talk to her, and it really isn’t fair to her. We were in and out fast and got our Benz back without any difficulties.

My car died on the freeway while I was driving the other day. I was waiting for a friend who was over an hour away! A tow truck pulled over to see if I needed help. This has happened before and the driver was scummy and wanted insane money in order to help me out. This time this driver offered to help free of charge. He was polite and professional. He helped me get going and didn’t even ask for money. I did tip him of course but it was worth it! I will always call them in the future.

After the gut wrenching feeling everyone experiences after not finding their car or knowing where it is, we finally found out it had been towed by Titan after a resident in our apartment complex called stating we were blocking their garage (which we were not). Just like the review below us says, you don’t expect to receive good service when dealing with a negative situation. I have to say the gentleman we spoke with was incredibly accommodating and kind. He went above and beyond and truly helped us out of an expensive, terrible situation.
I am so thankful that companies still exist that provide services with exceptional customer service with heart and remember that we are all still human beings trying to get by. Thank you so much.

Customer service is a foreign language to these people. If I could rate them any lower I would. Staff is incompetent, they are just out to screw you over and nickel and dime you to death. Avoid them at all costs. I set an appointment, and they didn’t honor that. Just wanted to give me some line about have to charge an additional gate fee. I don’t know how these people can stay in business…

They had our car for an hour and charge $ 300.00. Really? Funny how they charge different people different amounts for less than 24 hours of having a vehicle. Very sleezy. I personally feel like the apartment complexes that hire these guys are doing themselves more harm than good.

I own a tow company in the Tigard, Tualatin, Sherwood area. Our company went to an accident the Titan Towing caused a few months ago on Beef Bend Rd. Their driver went left of center with a vehicle that he was towing. Long story short they did not have the proper insurance and the driver of the truck had a suspended license leaving the other persons uninsured motorist insurance having to take car of the accident. This company really puts black eye on the towing industry.

They were re-​paving the parking lot at my aptmt complex and mgmt had clearly outlined an area that would not be worked on. I parked my car there last week and left it, since I don’t use my car often. When I came home from work last night, my car was gone and that area had been paved. Cue panic attack. We found the number for Titan Towing and left them a voice mail. My roommate said he thought he saw my car in a different spot, so maybe they moved it instead of towing? I figured it was b.s., but I went out in search of it anyway. To my extreme surprise, I found my car moved to the other side of the lot! My boyfriend called Titan back to tell them to disregard our message, and Patrick remembered my car. He said there were only 6 cars and he didn’t feel right towing them b/​c management hadn’t been clear about the work area, so he just moved them. He then proceeded to apologize for not being able to back my car into its new spot perfectly. I was blown away, he could’ve taken my car and charged me a stupid amount for it — that’s what I expected to happen, but this was incredible.
No one likes having their car towed, so of course there will be bad reviews, but Patrick did something very generous and kind for us lucky 6, and he deserves a good review for that.

My girlfriend’s car got wrongfully towed by Titan Towing this past weekend at the Wyndham apartment complex in Beaverton. I sent Wyndham a huge complaint email begging them to cut off business with them. Since I already typed out my story to them, I will just post it here:
On the evening of Saturday, August 10^th around 10:00pm, my girlfriend
and I arrived at the Clocktower Apartment complex to visit her sister
who resides there. We did our usual driving around her apartment to
see if there were any visitor parking spaces, but like always, there
weren’t any. We drove up towards the back of Wyndham (behind the pool
and such) and saw 10+ unmarked parking spaces. We parked in one that
had no numbered overhang, yellow or red paint on the concrete, or ANY
signs regarding the reservation of the spaces. Keep in mind that when
we drove up towards the back of Wyndham in the dark, we had no idea
that it was even Wyndham because the buildings look extremely similar,
the sign that says «Wyndham —— Leasing Office —» was very small
and not even seen, and the addresses of the building seemed to be the
same. We thought that we were still in Clocktower and we thought that
these were visitor parking spots.
Within a half hour of arriving at my girlfriend’s sister’s apartment,
I came back to our parking spot to get something out of the car. It
was to our amazement that our car was towed. We tried to find any
signs that stated what those parking spots were reserved for, but
there were none to be seen. We found an «Unauthorized Parking» sign
(almost completely covered by shrubs) on the divider that leads to the
uphill parking in the back of Wyndham. We called Titan Towing and they
stated that those parking spots were for Wyndham residents/​visitors only, and
that someone living in the apartments had called them to say that we
were not Wyndham residents/​visitors. My girlfriend unfortunately yet
understandably started to fib to the tow person on the phone stating
that we were going to both apartment complexes (not true, just
Clocktower) and that we were rightfully in visitor parking. The tow
officer was EXTREMELY rude during the whole interaction and told her
that we would have to schedule an appointment to pick up the car the
next day for $ 325. We had parked up there dozens of times (there are
always 10+ available spaces) and nothing has ever happened. After our
car got towed, we told our friends visiting at Clocktower to check to
see if their car was still there. It was, but Titan Towing was towing
ANOTHER car when they arrived.
The next morning, we found a Wyndham resident, told him our story, and
in a friendly manner called Titan Towing and tried to convince them
that it was not our fault and that were in fact visiting him as well
last night. This was not true, but we wanted to get out of this
ridiculous situation by all means. The tow driver continued to reject
all of our claims, and then told us that 1): he was sitting in the
parking lot last night and followed us to see if we were coming back
to the car/​Wyndham when we were in fact going to Clocktower and 2):
there was a camera on the apartments that he could see out of to make
sure we weren’t coming back. Both completely mixed up stories, both
completely different than his story from the previous night, and both
extremely CREEPY. Feeling very violated, my girlfriend burst into
tears and hung up on the man.
We took a cab to Titan Towing’s office and tried to keep ourselves
from bursting out. The fee came to $ 350 (not $ 325 as stated the night
before) and for some reason, there was a $ 50 discount on the bill,
which means the ticket would’ve been for $ 400 for them having the car
for 15 hours!
After receiving the car, my girlfriend told the receptionist (who was
taking care of all the business with us) that her and her company were
extremely rude to us and that we felt violated that they followed
us/​waited a while for our return to Wyndham. She claimed that the tow
man never stated that on the phone and to cut the bullshit and shut the door on my girlfriend. This whole incident completely ruined our weekend and put us out of a LOT of money. (There is more to the complaint email but I’m out of characters to type.)
I later found this Unilocal section and also found this link that has a quote from a former co-​worker of Titan Towing’s owner, openly stating that the tow companies prey on poor people in apartment complexes:

Also, the whole thing would’ve been fixed if Wyndham put up some fucking signs labeling the parking spaces. Other cars didn’t even have permits, so someone must’ve been hired by Titan Towing to look for non-​Wyndham-​visitors parking there and call them… or it was just some asshole sitting in their apartment on a Saturday night getting off on the misery of people.

i also give this bullshit company a million negative stars!!! they pray on the poor people that live in apartment comlexes and make there own pricing depending on how you talk to them!!! i will be filing complaints against this asshole with the better business bureau and with washington county and the city of tigard and all other citys this company lurkes in!!! it is my mission to put this predator out of business!!!

I live in an apartment complex that recently changed from Retriever Towing to this BULLSHIT company. Apparently the owner was with Safeguard Towing before. He must not have learned much.
The signs changed out front a few weeks, maybe a few months ago. I called Retriever, but they’re not willing to come here without a contract.
For the past 3 nights, a car alarm has been going off at midnight, 2 AM, 3 AM, 5 AM, 7 AM. This morning it started at 3:45 and it is now 6:17 AM and it went off for over an hour straight when it started, is still going off, but less frequently due to the battery losing juice.
Myself and about 15+ neighbors were outside at 4 AM, waiting for the cops to come, because the number on the sign that Titan Towing supplied management DOES NOT WORK. It goes STRAIGHT TO FAX. So we whipped out our smart phones and tried to find their number online, a website, something. Some people called 411. There’s no listing for Titan Towing. There’s no website. There’s no number listed anywhere. Just on the sign. And it doesn’t work.
As residents, we are stuck. The person isn’t home today. It’s in the middle of the complex, so everyone hears it.
A cop came and couldn’t do anything but write them an incident report and leave it on their car, so here it is, going off again.
The only thing that could take care of this problem is Retriever Towing, or a legitimate Towing company.
Titan Towing is neither.
We are legally allowed a 24 hour towing number that FUNCTIONS. You people don’t even have a method of contact.
I used to work for the owner, so I’m going to do my best to have them switch back to Retriever. They answered the phone promptly at 5 AM and apologized for the issue that you aren’t taking care of.
