Anytime Fitness

This gym is both large enough and small enough to be perfect for me. It is fully equipped with everything I need including «Fitness on Request» for down times and weekends. It’s my life and my family! Would highly recommend for everyone wanting to get in shape and just have fun doing it.

Nice staff, very limited machines, older equipment, convenient hours as it is 24 hrs. Not worth the price. I found myself having to get creative regarding some of my exercises due to the lack of equipment.

Two weeks later and the owner Devin Lester contacted me. Wow, now I see where the dad gets the customer service. This owner was just as rude as the previous. He didn’t even apologize for the way I was treated and justified the actions from before. He failed to even ask me about the initial issue. When i was explaining to him who the man was, he obviously didn’t like my response because he said whatever and hung up on me. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. I will never step foot in this gym again. Get your money’s worth somewhere else. They don’t care about you at all.

Got to love 24 hours! This Anytime Fitness has a good free weight area and has enough weights, benches, and stations to go around. I chose this location because they have a squat bar and power rack, which most new clubs replace with a Smith machine (which they also have). You also get a good deal on the 24 hour tanning shop next door if you join both clubs. Definitely agree with Jerry C. about the shower situation, there is only one shower, and it is a very small room to get ready in, and for that reason I only go in late evenings. I usually hit the YMCA for morning workouts so I am not running the risk of waiting for a shower.

This gym has moved up the street a bit to a much bigger location. In fact, this is the largest Anytime Fitness that I have ever visited. In addition, they have updated much of their equipment and everything is new a and shiny!
They have replaced the old Nordic Track treadmills with Star Trec models equipped with individual televisions. The elliptical machines do not have individual sets but there are three large screens on the wall.
They have a large variety of resistance training machines and a big section of free weights.
The staff is friendly and greets you at the door!
As with every other AF location, I feel that the big weakness this gym are the shower facilities. Every AF I have ever visited has individual restrooms for changing and individual shower rooms. I guess their target market group is shy. This gym has two restrooms marked men and two marked women. Only one restroom for each sex has a shower. That means that you have to wait if someone is taking a long hot shower after their workout. The problem is the unpredictability of that wait if you are trying to get to work in the mornings. As I said, all AF locations are set up with individual showers.
On the subject of showers, I would make this deal: If AF would put a towel rack or hook within reach of the shower, i would not track water all over the floor.
This is a great gym!!!
