I have always been an Azteca fan, slowly going away was here for Lunch and might as well stayed for dinner. Service was slow my food was warm. I know it’s not the kitchens fault as my waitress was chit chatting away. 10 min with my card on the table! Azteca please find better servers!

Great food, atmosphere and wait staff. Very fresh and the Burrito Panzon is excellent. Chicken soup is fresh and full of veggies and huge pieces of chicken. Look forward to my next visit.

Incredible job tonight! Great food, great staff, and good value. We live 20 minutes west and this is a great local Mexican joint. Highly recommend going by for a family dinner.

Went there to have some dinner with some friends and the food was ok, I wish that they meet or the food would have more flavor. But overall it was not bad.

Disappointed tonight. We have been here many times before, and have always enjoyed eating here. The salsa had always been great, but tonight it came and obviously had been made with ketchup in it. We asked and our server said maybe someone different had made the salsa? Using fillers is a way to cut costs, and ketchup is a cheap alternative. Probably won’t be back. Have other choices In the area to go to.

Food was good but service was slow! 15 minutes to pay. Awful. Very understaffed this visit.

I go here one a week for my cheat day. The food is excellent. I enjoy eating out side. I always order the the Texas fajitas for two and we can barely eat it all. This is with out a doubt my favorite Place to go. Plus the 32oz draft beer is a perfect complement to the meal.

Good food every time we visit, love the fajita’s! Have to say I agree about the live music, that’s what drove us from the competitor down the street at Windward! Some nights just the piped in music Is so load you can not talk. I have asked for the manager on more than one ovation and asked for them to lower the volume! Great place, good food, but if I wanted all this noise I’d go see Micky D!

As most of the other poster’s indicate — they like the Margarita’s. Well, you’d better have a few so you don’t have to taste what they’re serving. Why do I have to be offered alcohol at every Mexican Restaurant? I’m not a teetotaler — but I think I’ve found the formula for a successful restauranteur — get your customer’s sloshed so they think you serve good food. This is the worst I’ve had — this is not Mexican food. It’s a Friday night; date night for the hubby and I. We’re thinking Mexican and some friends had recommended El Azteca right off Bethany Bend. Well, there must be another one because this one was a disaster. Whenever I try a restaurant for the first time I like to order off the combination menu to check out the individual products. I ordered number 3 and the hubby ordered number 13. All I can say is don’t order anything with a tamale on it. This was a piece of rubber. The chicken enchilada was drenched in cheese and a red sauce that still had the tin taste of the inside of can… Need I go any further? Oh yeah, to hide the old nasty tamale they drenched it in a ground beef red sauce. Can you say gross? I did. When the waiter removed my dish it was still full of food. I have a great appetite but I cannot eat garbage. This place gives Mexican Food a bad name. Needless to say I won’t be wasting my hubby’s hard earned money there ever again.

As a expat Californian I’ve had some damn good Mexican food over the years. So I pretty much judge all Mexican food based on the rest I’ve tried. El Azteca is a chain restaurant, so I don’t expect too much in terms of taste and quality. But don’t let that fool you. The menu has variety, the chips are crisp and fresh, the salsa is so-so and the guacamole gets an A-, nice and chunky. The carne asana is tasty and filling. If you like margaritas go on Thursday night — $ 5 specials. The Milton restaurant has a real nice outdoor patio and the service is good. Four stars for consistently good food in decent proportions and frosty margaritas that truly compliment the food. We’ll be back!

Its hard to find good mexican food in Georgia. This comes very close to it. Ive visited here repeatedly and have always been satisfied with quality and taste. Definitely would recommend this restaurant and location.

Hmm. Difficult review. The food was good. Average to above average standard Mexican. The servings sizes were good, the quality was good and service not bad. My problem was price. Dropping $ 35 for a «let’s do Mexican» lunch was painful when I am used to paying about half that price. The quality and uniqueness didn’t satisfy us for the extra expense. Good food but they are very proud of it.

This was my second visit and I’ll have to say it was still mediocre. My first visit I had the steak quesadilla’s and the taste was good but the presentation was lacking. The price(for lunch) was reasonable but the server was lacking by doing only the bare necessities without even as much as a hello. My second visit I tried the fish tacos(a special for $ 7) and once again the the taste was good but the presentation was horrible. A repeat of the same service as well… we almost felt like they were doing us a favor to ask for our order. For an overall experience I’d say look elsewhere.

My family and I eat here fairly often, as it’s the only Mexican place around here that my wife cares for, but we are getting less and less enthused about it. The food is average to above average. Service is quick and generally very friendly, but of late it seems it’s trying way too hard with all the live music and entertainment. It seems every night we go, and this isn’t just weekends, there’s someone inside playing something. Last night(a Friday) there was a face painter outside.(?!) The live music is almost always way too loud, and you can’t hear yourself think. I saw a family in there last night with a small child wearing hearing protection. Were be it that I was that prepared. When I want to go to a restaurant, it’s because I want to eat. If they focused on the food and service and less on all the«kitsch», we’d go a lot more often, but it’s gotten to the point where I dread going in for the generally average, off-theme, and overly loud American Idol wannabe. There are a lot of TV’s in the place, which I guess is fine for the younger ADHD crowd that wants to do anything but talk to people who they are eating with. The lot for the restaurant itself is inadequate, although it is an outbuilding of a strip mall so there is usually a place to park within a reasonable walk.

Nothing can beat their buffet on Sundays. Lots of different selections. Fresh and tasty. The service is OK. But everything else sucks.

Okay. Lemme break it down nice and easy. Good prices. Good food. Good chips and salsa. Awesome service — our waiter was attentive and friendly. They got busy very fast, and had a lot of people waiting when we left tonight. around 7:30, which I take as a good sign. But. But. When I go to a Mexican restaurant I don’t exactly expect — or want — to hear live music. Wait. Scratch that. I do. I do love live music, especially if it adds a wonderful ambience to the room, and especially especially if it makes everything feel more authentic. and what I mean by that is I’d expect salsa music or a Spanish guitar at a Mexican restaurant. What I most certainly wouldn’t expect to hear? «Sweet Home Alabama.» Loudly. Really loudly. Or «Whatta Want From Me» by Adam Lambert or «Never Gonna Give You Up» by Rick Astley or «The Way You Make Me Feel» by Michael Jackson… by a female singer. A bad one. A nasally one. One who tried too hard. It was ALLWECOULDTALKABOUT because her voice sucked up all the air in the room. We couldn’t wait to leave because of that. I’d go back because everything else was good — typical Mexican food, but good. However, we couldn’t stand the music. It took a away a lot from the experience.

The beer is cold and the salsa has a kick — two necessary items for any decent Mexican restaurant. We stop in often for a quick evening meal, but came by mid afternoon on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find an extensive buffet. It has some of everything, including ceviche… now, I may be in such a good mood from a great round of golf that I’d rate airline food pretty highly. However, I take my ceviche pretty seriously, so you can trust the food recommendation. Service was prompt and with a smile, so all in all, a good experience
