Great coffee! I come here 2 – 3 times a week. The coffee is always awesome. Try their healthy hermit. Really good. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. Much better than the big chain coffee shops. Also, free wifi.

Great food and good Coffee. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for another alternative to Starbucks’s Great Salads. We don’t drink coffee so we thought that we would have a light breakfast

This place in fantastic! The ambience is great! The food is YUMM! And they serve amazing breakfast until 2pm on Sundays! It’s one of our favorite places to be! The pecan waffle with bananas was incredible and the egg white omelet was so tasty. Their bagels are awesome as well! You wont be disappointed! One of the coolest features they have is a turntable with a big collection of vinyl records. It was an unexpected bright treat!

Absolutely love espressos! It’s a 10x better starbucks. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful for a nice cup of coffee and breakfast. I love the yogurt parfait and waffles! Best pumpkin cupcakes and sugar cookies ever! They are always very friendly and helpful. Best coffee house around!

My wife and I just moved to the area from New Jersey so we’re always looking to find new places to eat/drink/hang out. I’m really glad I found this place and over the last 3 weeks, its become my go to place to work remotely on Friday mornings. The bagel and lox is delicious, the coffee is good and the ambiance has the look and feel of the coffee houses I used to love to frequent back in high school and college. There’s always some good music being played on the record player to complete the experience. Pink Floyd, Santana, The Doors… We’ve definitely found a new regular local spot!

Ok so the iced café latte is on point. If say the O’Henry’s of Birmingham. People of Alpharetta and surrounding areas, go support this place :)

This Is a cool little local coffee shop that I am quite addicted to. I love the soup here, especially the french onion and the Italian wedding soup. The chicken salad is also very good as are the blueberry pecan scones(YUM). So the food is good, and the environment is warm and welcoming with a bit of nostalgia thrown in. You will find comfy chairs, good tunes played on a good old record player, and a cheerful staff. Oh, and the coffee is good too ;) I like their Espressos(go figure). What more can you ask for in a coffee shop.

My favorite indie coffee shop. A great place to meet friends or just relax with a great cup of coffee. I always get great service. I’m enough of a regular that they start my latte before I order it. Good salads, especially the Crossfit and chicken salad.

DON’T GOTOTHECOFFEESHOPLOOKINGFORGOODPASTRIES! MYBAD! After reading some of the reviews for this coffee shop, my daughter and I dropped by this morning. We don’t drink coffee so we thought that we would have a light breakfast. I was looking for pastries and although they had a display full of them, they had a sign posted to say that they were for viewing only. Why would you choose to put the dry, plastic samples on full display as opposed to the fresh and delicious options? I have never been in this shop before so I was really looking for something to whet my appetite. It just didn’t happen. Even after sitting down reviewing the menu, I was not able to identify anything that stimulated my appetite enough to make me want to stay. Unfortunately, we left without ordering. I’d say this place is a bit over-rated! Edit 2÷11÷16 I recently considered a return to this restaurant after a customer reached out to me, but not because of the owner. When the owner posted his message, he actually said something that made me run the other way. I had mentioned that there were no fresh pastries out and he countered that they were in the fridge. Okay, that’s like releasing a barrage of expletives because I had to plug my ears and rock myself back to sanity! To use the words fresh and refrigerated in the same sentence as pastry is an oxymoron to me. I believe that if you put a pastry in the fridge, you destroy it. I don’t play when it comes to pastries. Not acceptable, No Way! Instead of focusing on the content of my comment, the owner simply focused on the fact that he received two stars. So what? Two stars simply means I have had better and I have. I have actually had better experiences at restaurants and this is a fact. I don’t care if you have 600 five-star ratings, if I have a two-star experience, it will be reflected in the review. Reviews aren’t just about the food that is eaten, they also address ambiance, service, décor and other issues that are important to the reviewer. My reviews are unique to my experience and are not based on existing ratings. Having said that, it would have been helpful if the owner had simply said something like, «Please give us another opportunity. Our fresh pastries are usually available by 7 am Mon –Fri». I would only be interested in the fresh pastries made on site, from scratch. I am always willing to give a business owner another opportunity if they reach out to me in a helpful or meaningful way. Complaining about the review is not helpful while giving me options or addressing my specific concern is helpful. As I proceeded to review their menu to determine what other items they offered, I realized that the breakfast menu that is posted on-line is just not acceptable,(unreadable). It is poorly prepared because the descriptions run into one another and you can’t really tell where one begins and the other ends. In addition, there are key words missing so you really don’t have complete or accurate descriptions of the dishes. You can actually call in and pick up an order but this is not possible if you don’t have a functional menu for reference. Everything that you put on line represents your business so you want to make sure that you are representing yourself in the best light and only posting material that is useful to potential customers. Otherwise, what is the point?

Ugh… why is it so hard to find good espresso in the south? Ordered an almond cappuccino, hoping to have finally found a place in the burbs that would delight me. I was disappointed, but perhaps that was due to my high expectations based on the reviews and well, the name of the place. The espresso fell flat… virtually no kick, taste, or bitterness. The almond milk was frothed well, though. Price is average, ambiance is cool… but the espresso was a let down.

Man, what a great place. I have been living around here for years and never knew what I have been missing. Incredible, they use a record player to provide the music. NOT A CHAIN.

Cute community coffee shop. Ambiance is pretty comfortable as coffee shops go, with a lot of table seating. Pricing is pretty average for a coffee shop, with prices ranging from about $ 3 – 6 for drinks. Since coffee is in the name, this review is mostly of their coffee, which unfortunately is just average. It doesn’t have deep rich flavors typically found in fresh ground good quality coffee. And just so you know — I actually ordered it in a mug and enjoyed it slowly and on premises(as coffee should be enjoyed) Overall, probably a good hangout if you’re local — but nothing to travel across the city for.

I want to give this a greater score, maybe if I could rate each thing I got that’ll help! We went at 9:30 for breakfast it was not overly crowded. The employees were very friendly. The mocha latte was fantastic so that is my 5 star! The breakfast GF ‘wrap’ was more a quesadilla and good but slightly bland, the grits were good. Then we headed to the premium outlets. I came up with a cool idea after I threw my coffee cup/sleeve away that made me ‘have’ to go back on our way back home(not close) so we went by at 5. This time I grabbed a simple cup of coffee, the cream sitting out curdled right away and the lady was very apologetic and gave me a new u oped bottle of cream and new coffee. Coffee was not the best, tasted weak or too light for me. The chicken salad was just ok, didn’t have enough pecans and about halfway through there was a hair not of my kind. So, great latte, great service, friendly staff.

Great little hidden gem. Amazing coffee, better deal then any I’ve seen in awhile for a latte. Super sweet and attentive staff. The owner is prompt, curtious and generally a great host. I ordered the pecan waffle with a side single egg. The food was fantastic, not something I would have expected from a coffee shop. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

What a great little coffee shop! As usual, I’m only leaving a 4-star rating because I can’t add the 5th star until I’ve visited multiple times and can judge consistency. But this was a 5-star visit for sure. :) The staff here are SUPER friendly and helpful! It feels like they enjoy interacting with their customers and are genuinely happy to be here. It makes all the difference in the world! There’s ample seating, lots of natural light(even on an overcast day), and they play VINYL! It’s fantastic. Even if the vinyl does skip on occasion… lol.(Not a huge problem; just get up and adjust it!) The food and drinks were also great, from what I tried. I started with an almond milk chai latte, which was delicious and ridiculously foamy. Perfection! I love that they offer it to you in a real mug if you’re sticking around; I’m ALL for avoiding disposables whenever possible. Ditto the food; it came out on REAL plates with REAL silverware. Yes! I ordered the Veggie Omelet(without Swiss cheese), which was pretty good. It was a bit dense — I like my omelets a little fluffier — but it was still quite satisfying, and I loved the healthier option. I don’t know whether or not the ingredients were organic. Likely not, as they weren’t advertised as such — I wish they were! After sitting and working for a while, I went back and got a lemon-poppy seed muffin(yum!!) and an organic chamomile tea to go. Overall, definitely a spot I would gladly come back and visit again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet place(at least in the afternoon, maybe not the morning) to set up a laptop and work for a few hours with great food and great drink to accompany.
