Good food. Went at about 6pm and not too busy at all. You order your food and you make your own burger at the topping bar. The staff is really nice. Overall good place to eat.

Awesome Mediterranean food. Definitely better than others I’ve tried. They gyro is so meaty and filling worth every dime. This is my millionth time at express burger and Mediterranean Grill!!!

ONLYIFYOUHAVETO! When shopping on Northpoint, there aren’t many options for quick dining. I stumbled upon this restaurant just a couple of doors down from DSW so I thought that I would give it a try. After perusing the menu, I decided on the beef shawarma. I am not one to order sides because a good shawarma should be filling enough and I don’t really like carbs with my sandwich. It took a bit of time to get the sandwich but this was fine because I was enjoying the break and the seating(long high-back benches that sit like sofas), was very comfortable. The wrap was just okay because there wasn’t enough protein. It was really like a salad wrap and not something I would recommend if you are really hungry. At $ 8 a pop, I would expect to be satisfied for at least a couple of hours. This was like a weak appetizer. In addition to the wraps, they serve other options like burgers, Philly sandwiches, vegetarian options, fries, salads and more. Just choose wisely! I don’t know if I would choose them again, but they would definitely not be my first choice.

In Michigan the Mediterranean community is super large, so when I came to Atlanta and was Looking for shawarma’s no one know what I was talking about. My friend revived a flyer and that night after work I went. I bought the shawarma plate and though it was going to be a sandwich but it was chicken and pita in the side with garlic sauce. It came with yellow rice and a Greek salad. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the rice was okay. The Greek salad didn’t come with dressing, so lucky I took it home. Strawberry vinaigrette but what the hey, it was a good salad. It also came with humus. Wasn’t chopped great and was missing something. Otherwise will recommend and will go back.

I have been here a couple of times and liked it. Chicken sandwich and shawarma is good. plus it is halal which is an added benefit. Their beef burger is also nice and juicy. Recommend this place for sure.

Average. Not very clean. Overpriced. I was disappointed and wish I’d gone somewhere else.

I really like this place. Their burgers are great and tasty. Try the Swiss mushroom. This place is one of my favorite burger joints in the Atlanta area. My wife and I try to come here every once in a while.

Stood at the counter for 10 minutes. No one around and never took my order, so I left. 0 stars if I could.

I’ve been visiting the Alpharetta area for the past two weeks and have had the best Gyro with fries almost everyday. The lamb chops are a must!!!

Food Is low quality compared to when it opened. Pita is stale and store bought. It’s a real shame because used to love this place. I’m not going back until te food quality significantly improves

Ouch! There are other good Mediterranean places around to go to this dive. Stale pita bread at a Mediterranean restaurant is a disgrace. Never again

Hate to write a bad review but felt like me paying almost $ 8.00 bucks for plain ½ pound burger was not worth it. The burger in no shape or form looked ½ pound and was pretty tiny. I did not add cheese otherwise it would have another .50 to .75 cents extra. Will most likely not go back. Only reason I didn’t give it one star was because condiments and lettuce/tomatoes were self serve, which I prefer. Again I hate to give any small business a bad rating but I should not have feel that I was ripped off for a small piece of meat and a bun.

Family owned and run so they focus on fresh food and home made dishes. The mediterrian food is great and affordable. So far we have visited this place twice and both times we were satisfied. The first time I had the gyro dish and it was so delicious. The second time I had a shawarma dish that had the best flavor and the Tzatziki sauce is freshly made everyday. I love it!

First time here today based on recommendations from friends and family. We ordered the firehouse burger, Philly cheese steak, and hot wings. The burger was topped with caramelized onions and jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. The pattie was good, but a little dry because the lady at the counter convinced us to get it medium well. Overall taste of the burger was good. Philly used canned mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. I had to pick out some of the onions out because some were too part of the outer layer of the onion. Wings were good and medium sized. There’s an entire area of the restaurant for you to add toppings to your meal or to get sauces too!

Came here by chance on a Wednesday around 1pm, I was the only one in the place. Not a good sign. There used to be a great Mediterranean place here years ago so figured I’d check it out. The name confused me… express burger Mediterranean grill? Sounds like an identity crisis to me. Came in and looked for veg options saw falafel and got the plate, not sure what even came with it. Paid $ 10.54 and was a little shocked, I say that’s too steep for a falafel plate especially when I can go to house of hummus(see other review) down the street. Food was uneventful. Not much for over $ 10, only way I would come here again is to try veggie burger but if not good, 2 strikes is it. Ok food ok place. Nothing to brag about.

[TL;DR] Place is experiencing some growing pains. Off to a decent start. It’s different. I love seeing the slow, steady growth of restaurants in the Alpharetta sector — especially when you’re talking about hummus and chicken shawarma. This joint uses a fusion food concept that I guess seems to work well since there are certain crossover foods like french fries that go with wraps and burgers. If you make your way here to the active strip mall this restaurant is nuzzled in, just look for the DSW. It’s to the right of it. Make sure to observe the daily special. It was the original burger when I was there. I asked for it medium-well but got it well-done so it might be wise to go one under your normal preference — at least until they work out their kinks. The chicken shawarma wrap was tastier, and in my opinion, a better choice than the burger, but hey, I experiment with food for you, my readers — a completely selfless act. ;-) They have a full compliment of fixings for your burger at a self-serve station. It’s perfect because they have jalapenos you can ladle on to everything. Anyway, if you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out. I can see this place being popular for its daily specials with some of the local businesses. For me though, it’s not so good I’d make a special trip nor convenient enough to drop by for lunch.

Excellent lunch time spot. Had the chicken taco salad and it was one of the best taco salads — packed with grilled chicken(with Mediterranean spices). Had sweet potato fries on the side. Very good — a little soggy but still good. Will be back again. Very friendly staff and it’s a big place inside with booths and tables.

This place is HALAL! My family only eats halal, and so they really liked this place, and will be back to try the many other options on the menu. The staff and owner are extremely nice and friendly, and the set-up and décor are very welcoming and cute. Great for families. The food here is good and reasonably priced. Some items are more of a hit than others — ie the chicken shawarma was much better than the beef shawarma. I got the macho burger; it was pretty good, but cooked well done, as my family culturally likes it and is accustomed to, so specify your preference, which I should have done, so my mistake, not theirs. My sister got the beef taco bowl, which was huge and tasty. As I mentioned, this place is HALAL and has a lot of variety, which is a great welcome to the Muslim community. I think this place is relatively new, so definitely check it out, especially if your are looking for halal eats!
