First visit at Fry Me 2 The Moon. The menu has a wide variety of choices and the food is excellent. Fried clams and hushpuppies… awesome! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is SO clean which completes 5 star rating. I’ll return and try the New England clam chowder next time.

Let me say first that I do not live in this area but when I visit for work overnight I usually will go to Papadeaux’s since I lived on the gulf coast most of my life and know good seafood. That being said I pleasantly surprised at the quality of the grilled scallops I had today along with the zucchini and Mac/cheese. The scallops were above average sized for most places inland and were cooked to perfection and at $ 10.75 not a bad deal either. The staff was very attentive and helped me with any questions I had, will be stopping by here again and made me forget about the other place I mentioned, papa something…

Great food and friendly staff! I had the grilled Basa fish, Cole slaw and zucchini. All very fresh and homemade. I am picky about my hush puppies and these were very good.

First time after passing by several times. Purchased lunch for my office. Everything was outstanding. Coconut shrimp was decent sized, great flavor and the batter was still light. Same for hush puppies. All sides were excellent. Cole slaw, green beans and especially the Mac and cheese. Can’t wait to try something new

Food Snob here. I would write a review but its been a while so I cant remember everything in detail. But I do remember it was good! There were some things I thought was eh-ok, but for the price and how QUICK they bring you your food… definitely a solid 4 stars! Food Snob out!

Really good fresh food. A little too greasy for me but bringing my husband back soon. The hush puppies are the best I’ve ever had though. Got some to go.

If you are looking for great seafood, but a trip to the beach is out of the question, look no further than Fry Me 2 the Moon! The food is delicious(house-made remoulade, anyone?), the atmosphere is fun and friendly, and the staff are always helpful. My husband and I are frequent customers and everyone knows us by name. This place is definitely worth a shot if you have never been before!

I really enjoy the food here. The food is made fresh, and the dining area is great! All the foodI have tried is pretty tasty. The owner, as well as the people who work here are nice. This is a great place to dine-n’-relax. If you are looking for good seafood-at a reasonable price-this is a good decision!

I don’t want to hold music against an establishment; however, playing the worst holiday songs of all time I.e. The chipmunks, had me rushing through my meal. The food itself was very mediocre. I put it on par with captain d’s. Nothing special here.

I ran across this place with my work mates when we were lost one day. It’s was so good we come back weekly although it’s pretty far from our office. The food is amaze balls and the two people that run the place are friendly and accommodating.

Fry Me 2 The Moon is a seafood restaurant specializing in fried foods. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly, but the reason to come here is the food. Simply put, lovers of fried seafood will find many delicious choices. The calamari is a particular favorite, while other dishes, like the shrimp and mac and cheese bites, are also magnificent. Fry Me 2 The Moon is a bit out of the way but totally worth the drive.

I thought that I had submitted a review the first time we had visited. Mike Miranda, the owner, was not present on that Sunday afternoon but he would have been pleased to know that it was in good hands that day. His establishment is a quaint hidden gem on Atlanta Highway in South Forsyth that serves fish and seafood with a tinge of Cajun flavor. He convinced me to try the Basa po-boy today and so I did it blackened. It was superb. However, that paled in comparison to his fried oysters. I wish that I had asked for two orders. Prepared with the right amount of coating and flash fried to perfection, it made for a difficult afternoon. I was stuffed… This is the place that is a must stop if you are in South Forsyth.

Very good! A little hidden off the road, but a great find. You can tell everything is really fresh and made to order. I will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem across the street from the Midway Meal House in the strip mall where the Barker Lounge Dog Day Care is located. I put this in here because if not using GPS you could drive by the strip mall and not realize it. The fish is excellent. I long for good fish and chips like you get in the UK and this is very very close and the best I have had here in the Atlanta area. Now if they offered petite pois with the meal I would be in heaven! This is a no frills restaurant but who cares. The fish is to die for. Not greasy. Great seasoning and coating. The clams and shrimp are awesome also. And get the fried green beans. YUM. Don’t like fried fish? They also broil. Yep. But seriously, come here for the fish. It’s the best.

[TL;DR] Had to read over a lot of reviews to get me over my fear of going somewhere with Fry in the name other than Fry’s. Unilocal held my hand through it. It was good. Not everything is fried. /ATMOSPHERE Not at all what I thought it would be when I walked in. I expected a sit-down-café-diner type place. It’s basically the eating area facing the kitchen and ordering at the counter in a self-service kind of manner. The choice of music was interesting. A name that sounds much like a Frank Sinatra song should have you thinking about music from that genre. Instead, it was more thumpy. /FOOD Pay careful attention to the menu above the daily specials. After I ordered the daily special and sat down, I realized there were other treats — like po’ boys. I had the cod basket. My wife had the crab cake. Both were good, but the crab cake won. The sides — onion rings, french fries, cole slaw, and macaroni and cheese — were all fresh and all good. The fries aren’t frozen. You can see the potatoes in the back in their chrysalis waiting to emerge as a fried, skinny stick of goodness. Don’t go in your clothes you have to dry-clean. You are going to emerge smelling like vegetable oil. /SERVICE Order at the counter where the confusing menu will have you feeling all kinds of pressure to make up your mind. Thankfully the attendees are friendly and patient. Food took a little longer than I thought, but it showed up about the time I started eating my shoe. The owner walked around talking to some of the customers there. He seemed like a really nice guy. HOWTOREADMYREVIEWS: 1 Star — Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars — If I’m in the area, I’d pick something else. 3 Stars — I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars — I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars — I would go out of my way to dine here.

Purchased blacken Shrimp Skewer. My friends were looking for something ‘local’ while in alpharetta. We didn’t want a resturant that we could have while in atlanta and the main reason we picked this place was the name. We found it clever and funny, and knew we were taking a chance on a location solely based on the name. We all enjoyed our meals. I wasn’t hungry and only got 1 skewer, and after I finished it prompted order another one. My friend who ordered one of the combo platters of Basa, really enjoyed her dish as well. I made sure to steal one her her hush puppies and then we treated ourselves to the Beignets. and while I had to be told they were Beignets(they looked more like crêpe pieces), they were still really delicious! The only thing they didn’t particular enjoy was the coleslaw, or the mac salad. Customer Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Would go back again!
