Nothing wrong with my experience. It was slow so I was greeted quickly by a very friendly young gal. Ordered a slice and a pop. Everything came out quickly and was very tasty. Sorry to all that had a bad experience.

First let me say I love Johnny’s pizza… but this location is the absolute worst. The service is bad and the food is blah. I went because I found a Groupon to this location. My favorite thing to order is the calzone but theirs was wet and gummy with little to no filling. Even with the Groupon it was a rip off… ugh highly disappointed!!!

HORRIBLE! The food was meh but the service was horrible. We sat there for over 10 minutes and no one even looked our way. I finally got some attention by glaring toward the kitchen. The kid comes over«oh I didn’t see you.» Well for the rest of our meal we saw him exactly once. My son even had to track him down for the check.

Had a pretty good experience. Ordered a large 6-topping pizza for delivery. The delivery was very prompt and faster than the time they quoted of 40 minutes. The pizza was pretty good and was cut in New York fashioned big slices the size of my head. I have a big head, so I was pleased.

After arriving at the restaurant about 6:00PM on a Sunday 3 weeks ago I went to the counter to order a pitcher of Bud Light and was told once again«We are out of Bud Light»!! I said how can you always be out of Bud Light & not carry either Bud Light or Miller Light? The arrogant owner sitting at the bar said«Real Men Drink 420» the only beer they had… That Chicken SHIT didn’t have the guts to walk past us and walked around the building to get in his car and drive away… Customer service at it’s best! Never AGAIN

I ordered a white pizza, burnt, had to wait forever. Used to be good but now has an arrogant owner and overworked employees. Would not go back!

Service is super great but the food at Johnny’s always leaves me a little disappointed. So far only the stromboli has been pleasing. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding the calzone, I had one recently that was just wet with ricotta cheese. The bread was just gross from the moisture, huge globs of ricotta leaking out. Yuck. I will keep going though, the fam enjoys the pizza and they even have trivia on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

NOTE: I posted this for the wrong Johnny’s Pizza. This review is actually for THIS location, not the other one on Jones Bridge Road. Our team plays trivia at Johnny’s on Tuesdays on a pretty regular basis. Pro: We like it because we win often, because most of the staff is nice, and because Kevin, the DJ, is a pretty awesome guy. Con: Whether or not I enjoy being at Johnny’s truly depends on the day. It’s a «family-friendly» restaurant, which means some days, there are a lot of children. The children talk in loud voices. The sound gets turned up to drown out the children. And, because the place only seats between 50 – 70 people, you really shouldn’t need earplugs. However, sometimes, you do. Pro: Other days, it’s really quiet and laid-back, and people are just eating their food and playing trivia. Those days are awesome. The menu is nothing special, but there are more options than most pizza places. The subs are awesome. If there’s anything on the menu you want customized, or you just want to make up your own thing, they’ll typically make it for you. In fact, there are very few requests that get a «No». As I’ve said, the staff working there is super-nice. Con: When the place actually has 50 people, it’s not only loud and really hot, but the kitchen gets backed up. It can take a long time to get your food, so order an appetizer and wear a sleeveless outfit. Pro: Parking is never a hassle and if you’re not playing trivia, there’s a space to sit outside when the weather is nice. All in all, I like Johnny’s Pizza. It’s one of the better pizza chains in the Atlanta area.

Good food. Awful service thanks in large part to a terrible manager. To be fair, I don’t blame the servers. It appears they were short and there were 2 young and friendly men who did not seem to be ready to handle such a big crowd. There was nobody to seat people. My family and another family had to separate a table so we could all sit. After waiting for nearly 15 mins, I finally got the attention of the server. We placed our order. We got our drinks fast. But then we waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Nearly 45 minutes later they brought out our pizza and the stromboli we ordered. 45 mins would not have been so bad if we had gotten the appetizers we ordered. The server told us, «They said it came out» and then actually hesitated to see if wanted to actually get what we ordered. Of course. 15 minutes later they brought out the appetizers. So we eat. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. No refills on any drinks. Meanwhile, the manager is standing around and then notices two people in a booth he obviously knew. He sits down with them, not for a minute or two but for 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, he sees me looking at my watch and looking exasperated. He does nothing. He did however, get off his ass to fetch his friends some wine. After that he walks away, never even coming over to our table. The manager disappeared outside after that. Our server meanwhile hasn’t bothered to stop by the table at all. The manager then comes in, strolling right past us and grabs his friend’s wine glass and gets it refilled. Says nothing to us and heads back towards the door. At that point. I can see our server disappearing into the bathroom. Another family comes in and the manager greets them warmly, saying«Grab a seat anywhere folks.» They sit down and he calls out to the other server, «I don’t know where ______went. Make sure you tell him those people are there at that table.» Now, a competent manager would have walked over actually did some work knowing he was short staffed. But he disappeared again. Finally, our server re-appeared from the bathroom. We had ordered a medium pizza to go and I was sure they forgot all about it. He also forgot all about us so finally I had to walk up to the counter to pay. We had a restaurant dot com coupon and he was having so much trouble figuring it out, I didn’t want to bother to tell him that he was charging us for a pizza we never got. He never even asked about it. I just wanted to get out of there. Horrible horrible management. It was obvious the guy running the place didn’t care about his customers at all. We will not be going back.

Met a pair of friends here for dinner. My experiences with previous Johnny’s were less than stellar, but they were paying, so what the hey? The service was truly GOLDEN, stopping just short of kisses being exchanged. Ordered two pieces, one a Hawaiian, which barely made it to Albuquerque, and the other a Gourmet, which I picked the black olives and artichoke hearts off of and let the cold slab lay. The crust reminded me of pizzas I scarfed down with enthusiasm in the 60’s, so I give 5 stars for service, 2 for food, and 3 for nostalgia, average 3.333333 stars.

Good pizza, but great stomboli’s. Good prices and can usually find a coupon too. Wait staff a little slow at dinner but lunch is never a problem.

Johnny’s is SO good for those days you want a hearty meal! My favorite is the sausage Stromboli that is packed to the brim with Italian goodness! Yum-O! You will end your filling experience with a happy sigh.

We’ve ordered from Johnny’s a few times because they’re so incredibly close to our house. The pizza is okay but the bread with cheese is DELICIOUS! We had the medium NY style extra thin crust with pepperoni, ham, and mushroom. It was good… nothing to write home over though. I think the price is perfect. We are able to get a medium pizza and bread for less than $ 20 including delivery. I just wish they made their own ranch dressing instead of pre-packaged containers of ranch. I also wish that they had coupons that could be used with delivery– or combos to make it even more affordable. We’re new to the area and while we like Johnny’s, we’re still in search of our pizza place to use for our weekly pizza night!

My wife brought a few of these pizzas home the other night. We love the NY style pizza and are happy that there are options like this in our neighborhood. I ordered the bacon and pineapple while my wife ordered sausage and mushroom. My pizza was really good, except I wished for more sauce. My wife is not a fan of chunky tomatoes in the sauce, so she had the opposite reaction and wished for less sauce. One thing we noticed was that topping costs were pretty expensive compared to other places and there were two tiers of toppings, one being higher. While Johnny’s is going to be good in a pinch(and waaaaay better than Little Caesar’s), our favorite is still Verra Zanno.
