This is like the COOLEST store ever while simultaneously being a place where I have no urge to make any purchases. How is that even possible? I totally appreciate a good hobby, and anything that’s as cute as a little colored piece of plastic in any shape imaginable that gets together with other like-minded plastic pieces to make awesome things deserves it’s own store. This is not a huge store, but you don’t have to have a lot of space to fit a bazillion tiny«building blocks». I love the fact that they have a ton of little«fish bowl» type boxes with different scenes inside. Police cars and motorcycles, the zoo, butterflies, a large foot. There’s also a Batman scene! Again, I have little to no interest in legos at age 30 but this store is super A+ and bound to impress that special 9 year old in your life.

«But the talley of bricks shall not dimish…» — The Ten Commandments(1956) I love LEGOs. I own so many LEGOs, I cannot even tell you. I should not be allowed in the LEGO store without supervision. I love this store. I am not a fan of the others as they are smaller in comparison and the staff is not as friendly. Also, the one at Phipps is not a true store — it is a gift shop. Your VIP card does not work the same(yes, I am a card-carrying LEGOVIP… I told you I had a problem). What I love about this store, is that the staff also loves LEGOs — they are passionate and can speak with authority and love for all the LEGO sets and series. If you have a question, they can answer it without checking on anything. They also can speak to adults and kids equally. They don’t think it’s weird that this«older» woman comes in and has this love of all things LEGO and has no issue dropping $ 100 on a LEGO Black Pearl(Pirates of the Caribbean). I highly recommend this store — and I will be back again and again. And if you want to buy me something… LEGO Death Star, please.
