I recently had a need for custom framing and went to this location for advice and assistance. I was assisted by a young lady named Tommi who went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and help me complete my project. She offered excellent advice and made a few suggestions that ended up saving me a considerable amount of money. If you find yourself needing custom framing, I would highly recommend you visit this location and ask for her.

Excellent store! Forgot my coupon and the manager honored it and Sarah the sales associate was so sweet & courteous with my adjustment. Happy retail folks are awesome and make me happy!

This Michael’s is way fancier than any of the others I’ve been to. It has an open and modern feel. Everything is very well organized and they have craft stations that have a picture of a craft and all of the things you need to make it in one place. It’s like Pinterest come to life! Why yes, I would like to make a bedazzled dream catcher with gold dipped feathers. Thanks for making it easy for me Michaels. If you are into jewelry making, this place has a great selection of beads. Shamballa beads, seed beads, czech glass beads in every color of the rainbow. Make sure to download the app for coupons.

Im not nearly as artsy fartsy as Id like to be, but Michaels helps me to pretend that I am. I come here mostly for Wedding supplies(I do flowers for weddings) and making baby blankets,(since it seems like EVERYONE is preggos these days) They are pretty competitively priced with Joanne’s and I get pretty good coupons from them often. They have a good selection of items and usually there is someone there to answer a question or bounce an idea off of, or to show me where something ive walked past 3 times is located Check out is usually quick and painless.

I am not what you consider the«Arts and Crafts» type, unless you enjoy completely vulgar things. So why in the hell would I come into a Michaels? To get my posters framed! I have a small collection of Van Gogh posters I have collected from various museums across Europe, and I wanted them in decent hands. It seems like all of the old-school framing shops around have closed, so I decided to use Michael’s. The options are endless, from frame to glass to sealant, there is something for every budget. I usually get simple black frames with all of the fixin’s. It usually costs about 2 – 300 per frame(and it always SEEMS like they have it on sale too.) — but so far they have held up after the years… Recently, I went in the store with my sis so she could pick up her degree that got framed. It looked nice, but one of the managers made a snide remark along the lines of, «you brought him so he can carry it out? At least he’s good for something!» Let’s be honest here– just for that, my sister carried out the frame. And then I remembered, if I had to work with that lady, I would probably be saying the same stuff to people too. Not sure what the deal is this week(maybe its PMS), but I have not been too fond of strangers and their comments recently… The store is big, but it also seems too cluttered and dusty– not a great place to go in after you get attacked by scores of pollen. At least I know this place is here if I wanna make something with my nephews. It is also good to know that store has been there since the inception of that strip mall– so its gotta be doing something right!

Certainly not the cleanest of Michaels and it seemed in major disarray, but they did have a decent selection of jewelry supplies… I’ll stick with the one over by Lindbergh since it’s closer and cleaner, though it’s nice to know there is an alternative craft store in Alpharetta outside of Joann’s should I be in the area and a need arises.
