I went here today as a NEW patient. Horrible in almost every way. Do not go here. Some of the people are nice but it doesn’t make up for the fact that I was sitting around in a giant paper towel for almost ANHOUR. Yes. By the time the doctor came in it was an hour past my appointment time. No introduction, no excuse as to why she decided to keep a new patient(or any patient) waiting that long. RUDE. Then she seemed annoyed with ME for calling the front desk to see what the problem was(I was on the phone with the receptionist right before the doctor walked in). You’d think that her taking her sweet precious time would mean she took a minute to glance over my paperwork… but no such luck. She(and everyone else I encountered at the office) kept asking me why I needed to be seen and then started talking about how I needed to go online to register so that I could get test results(before she realized that I didn’t have any tests done because I didn’t have anything but an annual with no pap). When she did my breast exam she decided to pretend she was kneading really tough dough to make a rush pizza. I winced in pain and said«Ow» but she didn’t ease up. So a 5 – 10 minute visit, which took up about 2.5−3 hours of my time(including commute), as well as a $ 50 copay. That’s right… she’s a «specialist» and the lady downstairs told me it’s «for a good reason». I disagree. So here’s the rundown if you care to review: I got there early to fill out paperwork(they didn’t tell me to go to the first floor to check in, etc… so that ate up a little more time) and turns out they didn’t have any free rooms. I heard them asking each other what to do with me… as I was sitting in the waiting room after I turned in my paperwork. The door was wide open, btw. HIPAA, anyone? So after they took my vitals the walked me around the entire office only to walk be back around to sit in a very dimly lit room for 15+ minutes. Then when I finally got put into a room(giant paper towel ensemble), I got to wait there … oh I don’t know, because I was busy watching myself grow a beard. If this is the way they treat new patients then I feel sorry for existing ones. Thank god I have a year to find a different GYN.
