This is an amazing spot to eat! You MUST come and try their wonderful coconut soup. You’ll be so glad you did. It warms the soul. The pad Thai & green curry will have your belly singing their praises. The service was also fantastic!

My boyfriend and I have been regulars for about two years now. The waiters and waitresses know us to the point that we don’t need menus. The food is amazing every single time. I either get the shrimp or chicken phở but if I am feeling phở’d out I get the panang curry with shrimp. He gets the chicken and broccoli. This is a small place but it’s worth the stop. So amazing and great service!

This is not a review of their food. Food was just ok. The take out service 1. Didn’t provide me with an eta 2. When I arrived for pickup they couldn’t find me on the list 3. Made me wait indefinitely till I lost patience and asked for status, promptly after which they provided. So had I not asked …

I was craving Asian soup and since Alpharetta doesn’t really have a wide variety of Asian food, I settled for the Phở(all meat). I would say it was good, the broth hit my taste bud in a really good way. My friend got the Thai coconut soup and pretty much inhale it so I would say he enjoyed his meal very much. There isn’t that many competition so I can’t compare or recommended someone else to go in the area. This place will do. But hey! Don’t forget to check in, they have a free boba promo. Also I’m very bias since my ethnicity back is Vietnamese, home made food is the best.

The phở was a good price, $ 7.25 for a small. The only thing I was bummed about is that they only offered chicken and beef broth and since I’m pescetarian I like vegetable broth with my shrimp phở instead. It was still super yummy but if you’re strict to your vegetarianism/pescetarianism just be aware!

This is my first visit to this restaurant. In my quest to find the perfect Phở. This one is good, maybe even very good, but again, not great. The broth lacks depth and I had to request more basil and sprouts for the Phở. The meat additions for my beef Phở was plentiful. I wonder if I noticed a bit of segregation during lunch. A black family of 4 entered and we’re escorted to the far side of the restaurant where nobody else was seated. A few minutes later 4 white(Asian) men entered and we’re seated in my area where there were 4 other people. Bothered me enough that I asked the host why, no real answer. Over all this was a pleasant visit and I would return.

Wow! They have a special promotion this week. When I order a spring roll the server told me that I can get any drink for $ 0.99. What a good deal. Great service and excellent food. «I WILLBEBACK».

Went for lunch again today. The phở was actually good, they loaded it up with meat… too bad they charged me extra for it. Same guy in the previous review(that tried to charge me for extra meat the other time). I told them medium phở with meatballs, tai and nam. I got the same exact thing last time, and was charged a normal price. This time(because of that waiter), I got charged an extra $ 1.95 for the meatballs. This time I didn’t fight it, they just didn’t get a tip. Here’s a thought: if something is going to cost extra, maybe warn be ahead of time? Seriously, I have a love/hate relationship with this place. The phở is decent, but the service is lacking. As I’ve said, if I had other options, I wouldn’t go here.

4 stars comes up as Yay! I’m a fan. And I am. My coworker and I frequent Saigon for Phở Friday where we get medium P2. That said, I guess I can’t call it 5 star, really even 4 star, as it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a strip mall Asian restaurant. If you’re going on a Friday, go early. It gets pretty crowded.

I’ve eaten here several times. The food quality is always consistent. I generally order phở or the seafood noodle soup. The squid that comes in the seafood noodle soup is always so chewy it’s inedible. I don’t even put it in any more. The service can be hit or miss. I don’t like that when you’re eating there with two people they only bring one plate of greens to split. I’ve had to ask for cilantro more than once. Sometimes the greens can be a bit slimy. A couple of times when doing takeout, they’ve forgotten the greens all together. It’s still a decent place to get your phở fix and it’s the only one in the area so I’ll keep coming back.

There’s multiple locations in the Atlanta area. This is the only one I’ve been to so no reflection on the others. Combination of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. I ate a small wonton soup and had the pork vermicelli dish. The broth for the soup was decent buta little oily and the wontons were average. The pork for the vermicelli was pretty tasty, sweet and full flavored. Shrimp was a little chewy. The dish was a little smaller than other Vietnamese places in Atlanta but still plenty of food. Pricing was a little more expensive than others for this dish as well. As for service, the ladies were a little off. My party was greeted at the door. We saw the specials on the board in the front but when we ordered the lady didn’t even know that the dish was available since it wasn’t on the menu. She was also not very knowledgeable about the menu. The young ladies that gave refilled water, cleared dishes, and boxed food did a good job. A pet peeve is working staff members eating during business hours. Uniformed(aprons and labeled shirts) staff eating during business hours bothers me when it occurs during prime rush hours(noon). Also, our party had two Asians and a Caucasian. They automatically placed two sets of chopsticks down and a fork in front of the Caucasian member. It wasn’t even order-based. That irked me a little bit but not a major factor into this review.

Eh. What can I say about this place. I mean. Being Viet, I already have predisposed thoughts and opinions about this chain in general. But hey, since my coworker wanted phở that was nearby, we went for it. The pad Thai was dead set average. The color wasn’t really there. The flavor again was average. I wouldn’t say it was super delish nor terrible. It’s just okay… The passion fruit bubble tea was pretty okay as well. It was a tad too icy but there weren’t ice chunks so they get extra points for that. There is an extra $.50 charge for adding tapioca pearls btw. Service was pretty attentive. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing and charming. And nearing the end of this experience, the credit card machine decides to crash. Eh. Just a random blurb I want to write about, but it wasn’t fun since my coworker’s card went through just fine… I ended up giving them my contact information since I wasn’t going to stand around waiting for this technological item to function. Parking was pretty plentiful as it was in a long strip of stores. And since we were here around 3PM, there wasn’t a rush of people nor cars in the area.

Just like everyone else has said, food is ok here. Only reason me and coworkers come is because our company is close by and there is nothing else in the area to get some Phở. Service has consistently declining. Don’t really know what its going ok. Maybe they know they got Alpharetta on lock? Oh well. I’m sticking to my curry dishes as they are from ok to good. Alpharetta needs more places for competition purposes, maybe then quality would go up.

This is a good cheap lunch spot. I would not travel out of my way for this place, but if you are a corporate drone in the Alpharetta area this place is decent.

I always get Phở Tai(p2) with the meat on the side. I order the meat on the side to prevent it from over cooking in the hot broth. Service is decent. They are usually out of something, basil, culantro, limes, boba. The bubble tea is good. I stick to the phở… I’ve tried the curry and another soup but hated it. The appetizers are good– chicken satay is delicious, crab rangoons are good, the bbq pork/shrimp basil rolls are awesome. It’s a decent place for good phở, it’s close and cheap and for that, I keep coming back.

I struggled over whether or not to give this place one or two stars. The only reasons I would’ve given this place two stars are because the staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. Other than that, my experience here was awful. To date, out of 1,436 reviews, I’ve only written 17 one-star reviews. I visited on a Monday for lunch with a coworker. I was in Alpharetta and craving phở, so I thought Saigon Café would suffice. I’ve been to a few other Saigon Café locations(Duluth, Decatur, Buckhead — now closed) and have had mixed, but not terrible, results. We were one of the only parties in the entire restaurant. The place was empty. I ordered my usual favorite phở, the phở dac biet, which is a combination phở with all sorts of meat — steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, etc. Phở here is priced at $ 6.95 for a small, $ 7.95 for a medium, and $ 9.95 for a large. The large size is about a dollar or two more than what you can find on Buford Highway or in Norcross/Duluth. I ordered a large. The plate of phở sides was brought out first. This consisted of bean sprouts, culantro, cilantro, basil, jalapeño, and lime. The culantro, cilantro, and basil were wilted and soggy. They were turning brown. Check out my photos if you want to see what I’m talking about. The bowl of phở was brought out. It was nice and big. Plenty of noodles, but it seemed like it was mostly just noodles. The broth was incredibly bland, even after I added the usual amounts of hoisin and Sriracha sauce. With such an enormous amount of noodles, the bowl was boring and felt like a chore to eat. As I ate the meat, I noticed how tough it was. I was eating the strips of well done flank. Even dipping the meat into the garlic chili paste wasn’t enough. It just wasn’t very good. It was almost like eating rubber. After devouring most of the meat, I realized that each piece was the same — flank. It then dawned on me that I didn’t get phở dac biet(combination phở), but phở with just flank steak. Boo. I notified the server, but by then, it was too late for them to do anything. This bowl of phở was the worst bowl of phở I’ve ever eaten. It trumps the amateur-ish phở I’ve had in North Carolina. Truly disappointing. At checkout, the server apologized again. I asked if there was anything he could do, perhaps a discount or something. He gave me a 10% discount. Better than nothing. I realize the order mix-up was an honest mistake and the staff was trying to be diligent. It’s just that they not only messed up my order, but the phở I did receive tasted pretty bad too. So overall, my experience was a total fail.

Vietnamese/Thai food on Windward Parkway. I went for the Vietnamese side of the menu. I ordered B1 — Bun with eggrolls, shrimp, and bbq’d pork. The bun was enjoyable. The fish sauce was not very complex — but it ddi the job. The menu is americanized. The restaurant has mostly booths. The service is OK at lunch. I recommend for lunch,
