Staybridge Suites Alpharetta-North Point

Excellent — PET FRIENDLY — extended stay hotel. Very well appointed and SUPER CLEAN. Hot Breakfast daily and happy hour (substantial enough to count as dinner) Tues-​Thursday. Friendly staff and guests.

Went on a business trip in Alpharetta and stay in this hotel.
This is a great Hotel, with an excellent staff, the room had a Kitchen with everything you could need: A full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware, even a garbage disposal, a big living room with a TV, two room each room with a bathroom, TV and a bed. The Room server was very obliging they make my bed and changed towels every day.
For those who like doing work out while staying in the hotel they do provide free passes to the local gym and for those one that have time in the hotel, there is a laundry where you can wash your clothes for free.
They have a very nice eating area with a couple of TV and sofa, a great patio and a good pool. They server breakfast every day for free and have a good happy hour on Tuesday and Thursday.

I travel to Alpharetta on a somewhat regular basis so I spend time in the local hotels. The Staybridge Suites is a great hotel! It’s clean, the staff is friendly and the rates are reasonable. They have a nice breakfast and a very convenient free laundry.

They were very rude to us. My friend and I stayed here for a concert that we drove to all the way from B’ham, Al. We booked our room the night before. We called and asked for early check-​in, they said that this was okay. It was arranged for noon. We ended up caught in traffic and arrived at 1. But we felt secure in the fact that our room would be waiting for us. When we walked in they told us our room was not ready and they had no idea when it would be. We left frustrated and got some food. When we came back they implied it was our fault the room wasn’t ready, that there was no such thing as early check-​in. When we told them that we called the night before and requested it and they told us that it was on the books, they looked at us like we were idiots. They didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, instead the lectured us. They didn’t even acknowledge that we had been misinformed by a member of their staff. Apparently it was all our fault.
The rooms were nice, but the staff was not.

Staybridge was my home away from home for a couple of years. Great location near Windward, GA400, Verizon Amphitheatre and Greenbelt .13 miles of walking and bike paths. Nice breakfast in morning and 3 nights a week mixer/​meal with Sue and Tilda. Nice pool, BBQ and firepit area for enjoying nights and weekends. Love Miss T, the Ops Manager. The staff and guests are all very friendly and helpful. Made some lifelong friends there. Thumbs up for Pet Friendly. Recently renovated.

The place and surroundings are gorgeous and well-​kept. Parking is never an issue and from what I can tell the housekeeping staff is good at what they do. Beds are mediocre, temperature control/​TV is mediocre, shower is mediocre, nothing fancy but will suffice for a short stay.
Two Major Problem Areas during my 7 night stay: 1) A clogged toilet couldn’t be fixed until the next morning! How am I supposed to stay in a room without a functioning toilet? The hotel was fully booked so I couldn’t change rooms, so I eventually got a girl behind the front desk to bring a plunger up to me, which I then used to unclog the toilet myself. 2) Both phones in my room didn’t work. I luckily have a cellphone, but I fear for the future cell-​less senior citizen having a heart attack in this room alone.
Bottom Line: There’s so many hotels in this area, I’d do some research. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels with better service and amenities.

Hands down the BEST all around motel I’ve stayed in. My wife and I were there July 4 weekend for Phish’s two night run at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. The motel is only 2.9 miles from the venue, which was great, but even better… they provided a shuttle to and from the venue.
We lounged out by the pool Saturday and Sunday, grilled some kebabs on one of their three fancy new propane grills. There was a basketball court, fire pit. We were able to wash our laundry for free in the laundry room adjacent to the fitness room.
The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Inside the room, there was everything you could possibly need. Full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware, even a garbage disposal. There is also free wireless internet throughout the hotel, and a couple PCs down near the lobby if you didn’t bring your own computer.
Every morning they provided a hot breakfast! Eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt.
The price for all this awesomeness… $ 65/​night. Unbelievable.
If ever we’re back in that area, that will be where we stay again.

Not a bad place to stay, but be careful getting out of the parking lot, it is a blind exit to oncoming traffic. This place has the breakfast in the morning, some evenings a light meal/​mixer event. Also the staff is super courteous and attentive. For those who like to workout while on the road they do provide free passes to the local gym as well.
Stayed here for a business trip and was not too bad. The only problem is the room was always about 90 degrees when I got back into the room because the AC was left off and the room got a lot of sun during the day, but usually cooled down in a hurry. The larger rooms in a place like this are usually worse off than the studios because of people staying in the place with families or pets. So your nicer rooms may be the studio rooms.
Overall I would come here again depending on the price, book far enough in advance you could get a great rate.
