I have been eating here for years. I have to admit I’ve only had steak and cheese sub with fries and wings. The steak and cheese is always made fresh. Generous portion of fresh hot fries with sub. Wings are great but on the small side.

Give this place a chance if you haven’t already. Their teriyaki wings are good, but I always order the spicy cheese steak on rice.

Small place. Food was cooked quick and fresh. I had the philly. Felt like they didn’t use enough stake in the sandwich. But for 8 bucks what can you expect. But they do ask for tips and to me that’s crazy when they don’t serve you. It’s like a fast food. I don’t think I will ever come back cause there are better options but I am no disappointed that I tried it

You can get better wings at Walmart down the road!!! My bf and I wanted wings and read great reviews so decided to try SubWings out. We are so disappointed in the size of these wings. A drum stick was literally the size of my bf’s thumb. 20 wings for $ 16. What a dump. Don’t ever ever try this place. The customer service was horrible, too. The guy at the counter threw in dressing because we asked for ranch. Threw it in!

TL: DR — So many flavors — Service with a smile — Spicy actually is spicy Review: So we came to this place because our usual taco place was closed, and I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first because this place you can get wings, fried rice, chicken strips, and subs. Like, what. I ordered the spicy chicken fried rice with cheese, not really knowing what to expect but in the end I was able to eat it and it tasted great. Although, I’m not sure I’ll add the cheese next time since it was just weird. Overall, I’ll probably add this to my «every other month» lunch rotation. We’ll see.

I’ve been meaning to give this place a try. At first the name turned me off — SubWing — but the more I thought about it the more I liked it. Subs are awesome, Wings are awesome, put them together and let the people know where your priorities are. I’ve read some reviews and it seems like SubWing has some loyal patrons and when I walked in around lunch time it was buzzing. I was excited to see what all the commotion was about. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak lunch combo. It was ok, but nothing special. Honestly it reminded me of Subway. The best part of the sub was the bread — soft and awesome. Everything else was pretty ordinary. The cheese was provolone and maybe that was my fault for not asking, but I was expecting a sauce/whiz. My bad. The tomatoes didn’t really fit in the sub(see pic), so it was easier to just take them off. The peppers, onions, and mushrooms were hidden on the bottom and I didn’t even notice them. I still have hope that the wings are good here. Maybe I’ll find out next time.

Great wings. Great subs. Make things fresh. The subs have an Asian flair that’s outstanding. Even the tenders are made in house! They don’t buy some frozen crappy tenders. Basically if it’s on the menu they make it in house! The owners are a friendly, great Korean couple. If you are in the neighborhood, or even if you aren’t, come to SubWing!

Ordered wings tonight. The wings were ok. They were very small for the price. I was hoping for better because of the ratings but slso because we tried the steak and chees and fries and liked them. I guess this place won’t be my go to for wings. Still searching

It is difficult to find good wings in this area but ALAS Subwing has ended my quest. I would have rated this place a five but I did find the lemon pepper wings a bit salty, I would recommend a lemon pepper seasoning without salt or add more lemon to level out the taste. I almost didn’t try this place out due to the unusual window tint that gives it the appearance of a «questionable» business than the great hidden gem that it is. This will definitely be my go to spot for wings and I am excited to try other items on the menu

The majority of my non-Yelper friends are lazy. Alright, let me rephrase that– they do not like to leave the zipcode after work hours. When it comes to eating food with them, you either bring food to put on a grill, or find a place within 2 – 3 miles. Given the demographic of the area, there are not many options outside of fast food(however that seems to be slowly changing). Every time I called them, they would say they are going to SubWing. It sounds odd, and generic. For a while– I just boycotted it on the basis they like it and have no taste. Well one day that all changed. I heard it is owned my a husband and wife couple, and I assume they are the only ones that work there. I came in search for decent wings and a phillysteak. When my buddy and I arrived, we were the only ones there. Did this surprise me? Not really. But it looked clean, and I knew we would get made to order food. So I ordered 10 wings(hot teriyaki), and a spicy regular size cheesesteak. With a Coke to drink. It took a few minutes, but it was ready. It was finally time to see what all of the fuss is about. I ate the wings first– and however they were tiny(one of my friends tried to drunkenly convince me the guy had a chicken farm in his backyard and made his own wings…) — but they were crispy and flavorful. Then it was time to try out the cheesesteak. I only got the regular(as the large consists of 2 regulars), with cheese, sauce and meat only. I won’t lie– that was one of the better cheesesteaks I have had. I was actually shocked beyond belief. The bread was soft, the cheese was gooey, and the sauce gave it a perfect kick. Is it the best in Atlanta? No, but I would so far say it is the best one I have had in Forsyth County(is that saying much? You tell me!)! Now what are the odds everytime I crave SW, my friends always back out. I mean, WTH!!! Def worth trying out if you like cheesesteaks and wings. I would consider it a hidden gem!

Subwing. Bringing two simple words together and dishing out tasty food quick and hot. I discovered this little place a while back before i was a Unilocaler. It was attached to a Blockbuster and a cleaners in front of the Kroger parking lot. With the Blockbuster no longer open, Subwing sits quietly hidden next to the cleaners. just off highway 9. Now lets get down to the food. I personally only have had the cheesesteaks, frech fries and the almighty chicken wings… or should i say baby chicken wings. Yes their wings are on the small side but the owner usually never hesitates to throw a couple extra. Hell one time i ordered a 20pc of the famous teriyaki and my man made it a 30pc since they were a bit smaller than normal. The flavors are med, hot, teriyaki, hot teriyaki, and lemon pepper. Maybe one or two more flavors i cant remember off the top of my head. They also have gyros, fried rice, and other types of subs that you can order. All in all if your looking for a quick fix for cheesesteaks and wings you should pop in and give this place a try.

The food is hot, tasty and fresh. One of my favorite lunch spots. Would come here weekly if it was closer to my office. Love the Philly and Chicken Philly.

Subwing is my favorite wing place around! The wings are on the smaller side, but I prefer them that way. The hot sauce is fabulous! They also have gyros, Philly cheese steaks and awesome fried rice. Great prices, and the owners are super friendly!

Subwing is a small family-owned restaurant with big flavors, they have everything from Philly Cheese Steaks to gyros to wings. I use to go have classes near Subwing and I would drop by here almost everyday to eat lunch before my next class, and eating almost everyday for a semester, I was able to try almost everything on the menu, but for your sake I will narrow down to my favorite 5. Wings, favorite flavor in order: Hot, Spicy Teriyaki, Teriyaki, and plain Philly Cheese Steak(w/hot sauce) Gyro(w/hot sauce) Buffalo Chicken Sub BLT By far the wings are my favorite part of this restaurant, I especially love their house hot wing sauce. Once I was craving a gyro and then I walked in the store smelled the hot wings and suddenly I was craving wings. It’s that good. Their subs are also very delicious, their Philly’s are better then Philly Connections that’s for sure and they also have their Buffalo Chicken Sub which is kinda like this spicy grilled chicken sub which is also very mouth watering. I also love their lamb gyros, but with their hot sauce it is soooooo good! If you can’t tell, I love spicy food. Ha ha ha ha~ Their BLT is more on the light side so if you want a light meal, try their BLT’s. Also if you love large cut fries this is the place to get them. Come check it out!

Subwing is the absolute best place to get a philly cheese steak and fries anyday of the week. I frequent this place a lot since I moved back to Cumming. It’s a small and often busy restaurant beside blockbuster on highway 9. They also have really good hot wings! So if you’re looking for somewhere new definitely give this place a try!
