It’s unfortunate the service is so horribly slow because the food was actually good. The restaurant was fairly empty so there was no excuse for the extremely slow service. I had to actually wave down my waitress so she could bring my check. I will not say I won’t be back, but I can guarantee it won’t be any time soon.

We had a birthday celEbration tonight with 6 in attendance. The food was great, but even better was our server, Andrew. He dealt with separate checks, a really picky guest, and a variety of personalities. He made the birthday boy feel special, and, in fact, made all of us the center of his customer service focus. Clone him. Reward him. He is super.

I used to be a big fan of TacoMac but over the years have seen a change in service. Particularly this location. The service is always slow! Rather I pick up or dine in. I see several people walk past me when picking up without acknowledging I am standing at the bar to pick up. My last experience I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings and got 5 buffalo and 5 lemon pepper, a steak quesadilla and I got chicken… a buffalo chicken salad and I got a plain chicken salad. One time I placed an order for a salad and it took 45 minutes. I don’t think I will be returning which is sad because it is one of the few bar and grills near me.

The slowest service I’ve ever had at a Taco Mac. Been to several of the other local Taco Macs and always been pleased, but the service at this particular location was awful. I won’t return. We waited for 10 minutes to be sat despite having several open tables. Sat for 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Asked for a TV channel to be changed during an NBA playoff game and they never changed it for us. Took almost an hour to get our food. Again… I won’t be back. I’d advise dining elsewhere.

AJ at the bar is a rockstar. We love him! Besides that, service is so damn slow. It takes forever for someone to come over, and when you have a 1 year old at your table you’d think they would work a little faster. No one moves with a purpose in this restaurant at all. Food is just ok. Their wings are not as good as a Buffalo Wild Wings and that’s saying something. But their queso is decent and their beer selection is great! Sole reason we go anymore is to see AJ and grab some beers.

My ranch dressing had an ice cube in it and my husbands lime still had the label on it. That, combined with bad service means we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Alicia was awesome, very friendly and hospitable to us. The wings were great and their interpretation of Mexican street corn was ok. I was hoping for it to be on the cob for an authentic feel. Overall it was great– drinks was awesome, great place to wind down after work. Can’t wait for it to warm up to dine on the patio.

Very nice clean restaurant. Awesome roasted wings. Fast friendly service. Loving the huge draft beer selection. Also televisions literally everywhere you turn. Awesome!

This restaurant is one of my favorite locations mainly because of the atmosphere. My previous review mentioned the room temperature glasses for beer. This trip they were frosted and the beer specials were great. The server was not very attentive and after ordering we didn’t see her until well after our food was delivered. However, after our food came at least 4 different employees randomly inquired about our satisfaction. Awesome! Wings are good but they only come as a meal and not appetizer. Good chicken tacos and the victory burger is delicious. Lots of tv’s

It’s about the beer. The food is basic bar grub but the beer selection rooks! It’s reliable… a good thing!

I can honestly say that I don’t understand why this location has so many negative reviews(maybe there has been a change in management or something…), my experience hear was great. I was out with a coworker for lunch and we were created quickly and with enthusiasm. The server was really quick to get to us and he had a great attitude. The food was great and, as it should be, the same great quality I have had at other Taco Mac locations. The food was great. The service was actually excellent… definitely a 5 star experience!

Excellent fresh hand-breaded chicken fingers and a good beer selection. Menu changes from time to time. Front of the house service extremely hit or miss. Worth a stop, but not a drive.

Went back reluctantly after several months away. If anything, it is worse. Not crowded but we waited for ten minutes for a server to show up for our drink orders. Water and a beer… simple. Apparently not as we never saw her again. After another ten minutes, we left. I have learned my lesson. It needs a complete staff overhaul.

I don’t do too many reviews but this one I had to get off my chest. I don’t even have high expectations for this place but I would prefer an establishment to have some sort of redeeming qualities, this place I suppose has beer. The bad: 1. Slow, inattentive service 2. Cold, tasteless shite they call ‘food’ The good: 1. Is close 2. Has beer Go here if you want beer, better yet support your local dive that serves beer and doesnt claim to serve food. GGWPGLHF

This place is going downhill unfortunately. Awful service, disgusting dirty glasses, unfriendly staff. Even food, that’s been so consistent for years, is getting worse. Same dishes are prepared in a different way every week, one week chicken wings are crispy, next week they are overcooked, charred and bitter, the following week they are under-cooked with raw chicken on the inside. What the heck! Very disappointed. Will start going somewhere else for watching sports on weekends…

I like Taco Mac but this location is absolutely terrible in terms of service. I literally end up having to track down a manager or asking the hostess to find our server every time I go here. There are lots of things to love about Taco Mac in general though. The craft beer list is extensive, the food is good, and there are so many TV’s to watch your favorite sports team. The problem is the service, slow kitchen(this location only), and unbalanced beer list. How are you going to have over 300 beers, but only 6 stouts and porters in December? At the end of the day, I’m sure I’ll be back here because it is the best sports bar in the area despite the service. I just hope they fix the problem areas soon.

I don’t normally write 1 star reviews(almost never actually), but Taco Mac, you earned it! This sordid tale of mine starts on a Saturday night like any other. A new movie had just debuted and we’d gotten tickets with a couple of friends to go see it at the nearby Movie Tavern that evening. We decided to grab dinner beforehand and wound up at Taco Mac at 7:45 before the 9:15 movie showing. It should have been plenty of time, right? Right… As soon as we walked in the door, the hostess said there was a 20 minute wait and the place was packed with football fans watching their respective college teams. No problem, we could wait, order our food and still have time to get to the theater around the corner. First we were given a buzzer that didn’t work, so finally the hostess took it back and said she’d call when our table was ready. When we were called and seated, it took our waiter at least 5 minutes to come over to the table to get our drink orders, and he then disappeared for another 10 minutes before returning with them. Side note: my girlfriend ordered one of the special beers and he brought her out a cider instead before correcting it on the second try. The waiter returned a while later with the chips and queso we’d gotten for an appetizer, but quickly left the table before we could tell him we wanted to order our food — he had a habit of doing that all evening. We’d see him at another table or in the back, or he’d swoop by the table without stopping to pick up an empty glass, but never actually giving us a chance to talk to him about our needs. At one point, my boyfriend got into an animated conversation and spilled his iced tea on the table. I managed to alert our waiter to the fact, but instead of coming over to clean it up, he handed us a large wad of paper towels and came by later with a new iced tea. Excuse me, it would have been great if you’d actually helped us clean the table up instead of all of us doing it for ourselves. When we finally had a chance to order dinner, time was getting short(something we’d made clear to him more than once), and we asked him to bring the bills along with the food. We could eat and pay together and be ready to go to the movie. Later he came out and told us the food would be just a few minutes more, we actually saw it come out on a platter, but then the table behind us complained about their food and instead of dropping ours off, he took all of it back to the kitchen. Huh??? What, why, uh? Time continued to tick away and finally, the movie was starting. We needed to go — we still hadn’t eaten by this point either. He came near the table again and we reeled him in telling him to box up the food, get the checks and do it fast, we had a movie to go to! With a sullen look, he went back to the kitchen to box the orders(which I’m positive were just sitting out getting cold) and run the credit cards. He brought back the cards and boxed food, which of course we had to switch because the wings had been put in one bag and the sandwiches in another, when both couples had ordered one set of wings and one set of sandwiches apiece. It was expected at this point. And off we went into the night: hungry, unsatisfied and thoroughly, thoroughly aggravated with this Taco Mac. If I could, I would have given no starts, but since I can’t 1 star it is. The thing that really rubs me the wrong way is that never once did the waiter apologize for any of this. I understand it wasn’t all his fault; the kitchen was busy, there were a lot of people, but still… Take some ownership! Taco Mac: you know weekends are going to be busy so staff up for it, and to that waiter in particular, cop a better attitude, man, our tips are what you’re living on. Never going back here again.

Seriously, of all of the restaurant food that is mediocre in this city… this place comes in at number three. I am going to start off with the service, the service was not terrible… just very slow. I waited about twenty minutes for my drink order. I ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and that took about ten to fifteen minutes. I was a tad bit surprised that that I got served chips and salsa before I got my beverage. Today, I have ordered their Hickory Burger with French fries and their new broccoli casserole. First off, the beef patty for their burgers are not fresh at all and is completely easily noticeable that the beef patties that they use for their burgers are 100% prepackaged and frozen. The burger bun was okay and the pickle slice that came with my burger did not have that nice crunch and crisp to it at all. The French fries were okay, nothing spectacular nor to brag about. The French fries also seemed to be the only decent thing out of my whole meal. Their chips are thin and are nothing spectacular as well. The salsa, seemed and tasted like it came straight out of a jar. Their broccoli casserole was also mediocre. Technically, it was just a nice size amount of steamed broccoli that was just placed onto a small oval dish and smothered with white cheese. All in all, it was just one large mess and disaster to me. I truly and honestly don’t know what happened exactly. This place used to be so good and one of my many favorite go-to places for good American fare. Ever since they decided to save and cut on cost, they truly have lost their way for excellent quality food. I agree with what one of the other reviews said when the food IS mediocre. This place has TRULY disappointed!
