Waffle House

I’ve been coming here to this Waffle House ever since I moved here to the area back in 2003. The service is always excellent. This is actually my favorite Waffle House out of all their locations. I love how the staff here are always making conversation with the customers. I do find this Waffle House to be cleaner then their other locations.
I live right around the corner from this Waffle House and have never had a bad experience here. The food is always cooked to perfection and I have never found anything wrong with any of the food that I have gotten from here. I have always enjoyed my fair share of a good waffle or a good order of double hash browns that are smothered with onions and cheese.
The way this Waffle House makes my orders, always comes out perfectly. This Waffle House absolutely does strive to make sure all their customers are always happy and that all of their needs are met and taken care of.

Not only they keep the place clean but they take your order to the perfection. They truly strive to make you happy with your request.

Best waffle house i have been to. Ive been coming here since a child, and their service has remained remarkable. Tall black guy with the odel beckham haircut is a good cook.

This is the best Waffle House. It’s always clean, the staff is friendly and with very low turnover. John runs a great place. My daughter and I have gone there for breakfast ever since the place opened when she was 5 years old. She’s 21 now. We recently moved from Horseshoe Bend to VA Highland, and I will really miss this particular Waffle House.

First time at this Waffle House food was cooked to perfection our server Stanford was really nice and attentive. Will be back to this location because of food and service.

I know, I know, it’s «just» a Waffle House, but I really love this particular location! The staff is so nice and friendly, it’s always clean, and the food is up to that delicious WaHo standard! I’ve been to awful WaHos before so trust me, they exist– thankfully, this is not one of them.

Avoid. I went there a few weeks ago, found a (human) hair in my (wrongly prepared) hash browns. I told the waiter, who then tried to slide the omelette OFF the plate and serve it to me while the hash browns were remade. What? No mention was made of comping the meal (so am I to guess this is normal? the cook was wearing a hat, not a hair net). I paid my check, no apology or acknowledgement. I contacted corporate, someone called me, was very pushy– basically wanting me to come in at HIS convenience, to watch me eat? I was lying? I won’t be back… used to love me some Waffle House (a native atlantan). Beware. Should I call the health department?

It’s a shame when one bad apple spoils the bunch, but I will NEVER return to this Waffle House as long the nastiest waitress in the world works there!!! Everyone else in there is fine, but I am shocked that this place even passes any health inspection as long as Miss Nasty waits tables.
About a year ago, my husband and I went in here one morning and this tall, larger greasy women waited on us. It wasn’t until she took our order that we noticed she had a yellow tongue with food particles stuck to it. She continued to stick out her tongue and smack her lips as if she was trying to show us the nastiness that was growing on her fuzzy yellow tongue. We quickly lost our appetites and left.
The next few times we managed to avoid Miss Yellow Tongue and had a decent experience. Then, again this morning we went in there and sat down and a lady came to take our order. We saw Miss Yellow Tongue was working but fortunately not our table. But, low and behold… all of a sudden we look up and they’ve switched!!! This time her tongue wasn’t yellow but she came up to us with her black encrusted dirty fingernails, greasy hair and proceeded to scratch her nicotine patch/​band-​aid or whatever it was on her arm while she asked to take our order.
SERIOUSLY??? You’re going to scratch your nasty, funky, scab under your band-​aid patch and then touch our food!!! I think not. We promptly got up and left. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER return to this Waffle House until this woman is removed from the premises! I can’t believe people even act this way, especially in food services and can remain employed? Good luck to you if you dare eat here and watch out for Miss Yellow Tongue Funk Patch Scratcher.

This is one of their best locations based on the beyond your wildest dreams friendly service. From your first step inside everyone greets you with a big «good morning» and the entire team makes sure your table is set and ready to go. This kind of help doesnt stop until you are done, paid your check and are headed out the door with a big «see ya tomorrow!» from the staff!
When I want to get scattered, covered and smothered this is the WH for me!

My dad and I used to be regulars at this location of Waffle House (much to the detriment of our cholesterol). The whole staff knew us by name and our orders. We’d sit down and our drinks would already be on their way to us. The food is not high brow, but it was always tasty. I’m by no means a health food nut, so an overly buttered biscuit, scrambled eggs, and hash browns make my soul very happy.
Maybe it’s because this location is in a nicer area, it’s always clean. Half the time when we would go in, someone would be mopping. The tables were always wiped off and the silverware didn’t have so much as a spot.
I’ve only really had one bad experience here and it was later at night. The waitress was consistently ignoring my friend and me. It took twice as long as it should have to get our food. Eventually she did get her act together and serve us properly, but it was a bit annoying at the time. Plus, I don’t think I have it in me to give Waffle House 5 stars.
