As a first time mom, I was so nervous to start my first born son in a daycare/school setting but we toured this Goddard and everyone was so incredible. We have since started our daughter Charlotte there and she is doing fabulous as well. My son is now almost 2.5 and he comes home to tell me everyday about all the new things he has learned. He has had some amazing teachers throughout his classes and I’m looking forward to my daughter having the same ones. We recommend this school to all of our friends.

Debra Braun the owner director is the most caring individual with whom I have ever worked. She is amazing and her school reflects her devotion to her staff and the children that she serves. I am honored to be the occupational therapist at that school. I have been at many other schools and have lived in other areas of the country so I have a real point of comparison. Debbie is always learning and growing and I you child, if you chose this school, would have an enriching and loving environment. Susan N. Schriber Orloff, OTR/L FAOTA

We have three children at the Goddard School(Yes, concurrently! Ages 4, 3, and 18 months). My oldest has been there since she was 6 weeks old and we have been more than pleased with all the staff, administration, and programs at this facility. All three kids flourished in the infant room and received tons of love and care that makes me feel confident about leaving my children with them each day. Now that my older 2 have moved through several of the classrooms, I have watched them grow with each teacher. The staff is carefully selected and hired to bring out the best in the children. Staff turnover has also been fairly low in the time my kids have been there. My three have had many of the same teachers their sibling’s had. My kids come home every day happy and I am often astounded at the things they have been able to learn. My kids ADORE their teachers and I am amazed at how the teachers are able to handle my children and their unique needs. The teachers love each children as individuals and really get to know the kids and each of their personal bests and personal areas of improvement. We have also been very pleased with how the administration gets to know the children and handles parent situations. They are always available for a conversation about your children’s progress and work with each family individually to decide the best classroom placement. As for the school itself, the facilities are extremely clean, equipment is appropriate and up-to-date, and the classrooms are warm and inviting.

The only thing going for the school is location and a few and I have to say very few good teachers, we had the the misfortune of having to go here for about 8 months and hated the experience we and our toddler had. You will especially hate it if you have to leave your loved one all day long, the caregivers who fill in the senior teachers after 2 are absolutely abysmal. And they never last more than a few weeks. The absolute worst thing about the school though is having to deal with the owner of the school, who I have to say, to put it mildly is difficult to have a commonsensical conversation with, I have heard pearls of wisdom like, «Kids bully kids, that’s what they do», «Montessori schools are for special needs». There is not much room for kids to move about in the cramped rooms, and the classes could you use a bit more natural light and cleaning. Their play area I feel is a bit too accessible from the road, and the caregivers are mostly on their smart phones when the kids are in the yard.
