DEJAVU! As I approached the store, I did not realize that it was a part of the Green Bean Exchange, but it was confirmed when I walked inside and recognized the employees and the two little dogs that also run around the Cumming store. My daughter and I browsed a bit and I can say that I definitely felt that the Cumming store had more to offer. They just seem to carry slightly different inventory. My daughter was really excited about the kids books that connected her to her childhood. They did have a nice selection and they were in good condition. In one of the rooms, they had a great selection of really artsy knobs that are perfect for updating furniture or just adding visual interest to a door or drawer. Much of the store was just a walk down memory lane, seeing items that I once owned, along with furniture that I remember from back in the day. When you do drop in, allow plenty of time because there is lots to see.

Drove by this place a couple times and decided it was time to go check it out. I was disappointed. Not many antique items and mostly people that had their arts and crafts or knick knacks on display. One positive is that it’s laid out nicely so it’s easy to see every display booth area without feeling like you missed something.

This store is my local go to if I want to kill time and get out of the house. I’d give a solid 3.5 stars to this Green Bean location in Alpharetta. To clarify, there are 3 total locations with this one being the closest to metro Atlanta. The store is deceptively larger than it appears from the street. Pricing is really affordable and there is usually always a good sale going on in the booths. I’d say 50% of the booths are vintage and the remainder are a mixture of junk, newish furniture thats been chalk painted and interior decorating décor. I don’t recall ever having seen anything older than 1920’s. Regardless of your interest, you’ll find something interesting. I recommend taking a look!

What a great selection of vintage product! Fun atmosphere. Only strange part is nobody was very friendly~ no greeting or even goodbye when I left. I selected a purchase, but put it back.

Wow-now they are in Alpharetta on Main Street across from the Dairy Queen-This ain’t your momma’s antique store-over 70 dealers with antiques, collectibles, vintage, mid-century and curiosities. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable and they have a great variety of items. Make sure you say hi to Shorty on the way in and Miss Kitty is there as always to greet you!
