Here goes… my one star review…
Recently a nearby house in the neighborhood imploded in a ball of flames… a self inflicted, suicide by fire…
That resulted in a yellow body bag sitting in the street… and yellow crime scene tape.
While that is not repulsive in itself, I witnessed something more VILE…
That would be the eminent profuse display of desensitization of the fire staff, fire suits; probably the big head honchos… all congregated in the middle of the street… laughing and joking…
All smiles, like they were at a F&%$@#& tailgate party for the Chargers or Padres…
Thank you for putting out the fire… S&%#, I would have even helped with my garden hose if you would have let me…
But look, there is a time and place to laugh and giggle, but definitely not in the presence of six bomb arson trucks and a yellow body bag; doing that is about as appropriate as Mr. Rogers singing «It’s a Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood» walking through the crime scene, stepping over dead bodies and doing the limbo under the yellow police tape…
One word for you suits… Tact…
