I know people love to come to Starbucks to use their free wifi and do their freelance jig and all, and this is really no reflection on the business itself. So I preface this story with a large disclaimer. But… If you are a young-ish man who is sitting alone at a table, ostensibly working during«work hours»(9 – 5 on a weekday), and two young-ish women come in with laptops and set about working… You should probably let them work, and not try to hit them up for dates or referrals to whatever company you claim to work for. I live in this town, so I don’t want to name names here(and trust me, he passed me a card, so I *could* name names here!)… but really. Be a little classy, be a little self-aware, guy. And guys, in general. Be polite. Yes, we are maybe talking about some exciting and arousing subjects. That’s our line of work. That’s our business. Keep it in your pants. You can make conversation, if you have something to offer. But when we both turn to our laptops and go silent, that is not-so-secret code for«We’re working now; please STFU.» I’m sure you run into this at work, assuming you work in an office? Or have once or twice? Yeah. Anyway, like I said, not a diss on this Starbucks. They can’t help the backwards hicks or miscreants that end up frequenting their establishment. They serve what they serve, and they do what they do. They are good at what they do, serving coffee and keeping the lines moving. And there will always be dickwads, it seems, even in broad daylight. But if I were to rate *those people*? I’d give them a –10 for creepiness. And I’d tell them to move the fuck on, because neither Starbucks nor their customers appreciate their schtick. F’reals.

Jeff works at the Starbucks in Alpine, CA. 91901 I ask him a GOODTEA to mix with my Steamed Lemonade and Honey. He suggests the Mint flavored tea. My drink is delicious and so GOODFORWINTERMONTHSWHENYOURTHROATFEELSSCRATCHY. This drink helps so much. Thank you, C. Lovejoy Alpine, CA. 91901

This Starbucks sucks. Don’t go in after 8 pm because they are closing down the store(an hour early) and they have wet floor signs everywhere, and they make you feel like you are a big inconvenience.

This place used to be the best Starbucks in San Diego. Until there they changed the management and it went down hill from there. The staff was always friendly and new you by first name and unfortunately all that has changed. This was a bad move by Starbucks bring back the old manager and the quality employees that used to be there.

I love this Starbucks. I just moved here 3 weeks ago and have gotten nothing but good service. Today a young man, whom I have not seen before, waited on me. Usually when I order a «short» I ask that they not double-cup it(to save a tree). As soon as I requested that he threw the extra cup away!!! I don’t think tree-loving Starbucks would approve of this — and what was he saying to me???

Love our local Starbucks! They know many customers by first name and have created such a nice ambience that it really is a nice little hang out in our community :)

Called in an order for all of my office staff this morning and upon return to office everyone was very disappointed in the flavor of their choices. It was very kind that they were ok with taking separate payment for all drinks but after payment since the order was called in it had been sitting for too long. We paid then sat and waited then a Starbucks staff member said, «oh I’m sorry your order was just sitting here, it has been ready!» The smoothies were watered down and melted and had a funny taste. My Carmel Macchiato was terrible! Not only was it cold it had zero caramel flavor. You would think that a high end coffee house like Starbucks would do a better job especially for the price. I’m grateful that I used a gift card because the service and preparation of the drinks were not worth my time or money. This Starbucks is always way too busy and I think contributes to the care in how they make their drinks. Very Disappointed!

If slowest service ever was to be voted on, this particular establishment might just take the cake. That is of course, because everyone seems to know everyone. Packed with locals and regulars from open to close, this tiny bucks is never without customer. The crew behind the bar recognizes you as you enter and calls you by name; while if you are dull and order the same thing daily will have your beverage waiting for you by the time you pony up to the counter. Plush seating is available in a small corner allowing semi-private conversations while the window side seating is tight and uncomfortable as there are often the backsides of coffee-drinkers in your nearest vicinity as they wait in line. Plenty of seating is available outside to enjoy the foothills air and the almost fluorescent sunlight. The pricing is fair and comparable to most others in SoCal so you won’t be sticker shocked if heading up to the mountains for the day.

I don’t usually leave ratings for Starbucks or other chains, but I have to give my kudos to this particular store. I went to pay for my coffee with my company credit card. After running the card, the cashier told me they were out of receipt paper and couldn’t give me a receipt.(Whoops.) But after soon resolving the issue by putting a refund back on my card, they gave me the coffee on the house. That’s customer service. Well done.

I absolutely love going to this Starbucks! The staff is very friendly and my drinks are always made to taste great. This is one of those places where you walk into and the staff knows you by name and even knows what drink you want. There are many Starbucks along the way to work and I will always come to this one.

This is hands down, my favorite Starbucks. Every single time I visit, it’s all smiles and good coffee. They even remember my nickname.

This is not a bad Starbucks, they make a good product, but their customer service needs some refining. Most Starbucks I visit, I receive at the least a simple greeting, and service at the register is always sincere and sometimes out right peppy, but here my experience was okay, with limited eye contact and no small talk whats so ever. I did not even see a smile crack from any of the employees. Strange is what I thought, perhaps the manager has them on short leash or something. At the end, I ordered a Grande Americano and a Snowman Cookie.( ) On a good note, my Americano I ordered was great, and so was the super amazing snowman cookie.( ) The snow man cookie was of the sweet short bread variety and was thicker, buttery and rich.( ) The icing on top was also thick and rich with a fine vanilla flavor. It was just a great cookie. If it weren’t for the lackluster service and not feeling welcomed, I this would of easily have been a four star review, but it is, what it is…

Slowest Starbucks ever! I think they should revisit staffing… Saturday at 1:30pm and 20 people, 1 Barista…10 min wait to order, 10 min wait for your drink!

Love you’re coffee. Hate you’re treatment of our US Marines & Sailors overseas. A few months ago you denied a marines’ request to have some samples shipped over just because you disagree with the war on terror. Not impressed with you’re political statement and treatment of those who sacrifice everything for you’re greedy buisness. Why don’t you triple you’re prices in the district of Columbia and show our Government who you really love?

Coffee… More coffee! Funny story… I stopped by at my regular Starbucks but I must have been tired since I needed a refill. I was craving for the Salted Caramel Mocha so I had to stop at another Starbucks before getting to work. I have been in this particular location a few times and since I was so close to work I decided to get drinks for my co-workers. Service: it was average, not your typical Starbucks. I ordered four drinks and I wasn’t offered a tray or stopper when it was ready. I say this is a fluke and this experience could have been a four stray easily so I am definitely going to revisit and maybe, just maybe update this :)

Leaf, please quit your customer service job because you don’t have people skills. He tossed my drink carrier at me. What’s his problem? He never smiled, was terse with me and for what? The gal working the register was super nice however. Too bad I didn’t get her name.

So the fact that the girl who caused the issue from the previous review no longer works there may have something to do with my return BUT I guess its like Cheers I want to go where everyone knows my name and my drink. 4 Stars cause I am a fan.
