This is our favorite of the 3 Subways in/close to Alpine. It is clean, great location and employees are trained and courteous. Tonight, Andy helped me — he gets 5 stars for EXCEPTIONAL customer service — he was so polite and friendly! The sandwiches were made perfectly.

Two subways in the same one mile long town. Which should I go to? Doesnt matter — they are both cookie cutter. Same deals. Same selections. This one happens to offer outside seating and the convenience of a few extra establishments around it whilst the other seems to serve the person getting off the freeway and the business center it is in.

Beware! My husband went there about seven days ago. He ate the meatball sandwich. About six hours later he was very sick with stomach ache. That night he began throwing up violently. The same thing for the next three days, throwing up about 10 times a day. He finally agreed for me to take him to urgent care. We went to El Cajon for him to be seen. It was food poisoning. The poor guy lost 10 pounds in 4 days. He still looks pretty beat up, but is recovering. Lucky me I didnt eat anything there.

Super Clean !!! Great Service !!! The Subways«down the hill» should be as clean and well run as the Alpine Subway Stores.
