La Fiesta Azteca

. Went a few weeks ago and the women got my order wrong. I told her and she gave me a nasty look saying she didn’t then finally took the check out. Went again few weeks later and the same women was our waitress. I said no sour cream. I do not like sour cream. What does she do she puts our cream on it. They charged me 2 bucks for the sour cream and she refused to take it off because I «ordered» it when I did not. They have good food but this lady who I think is the owner is very rude. I have had no problem with no one else but her. She has missed my order up 4 times.

My boyfriend ordered me a no-​meat quesadilla. When I arrived and was able to eat it, it was good with sour cream but I thought it was a bit salty. I thought that there were two quesadillas in there and it was apparently one giant quesadilla. I wasn’t too impressed but his family loves it there. They said the tacos are the best there. Maybe I’ll have to go for those next time.

This cozy place has fabulous, authentic Mexican food and great service. I have a favorite dish that I always get here but everything looks good. I haven’t had a negative experience here.

I am of the rare breed of people who are wimps about spicy food, but love Mexican food. Seeing as my boyfriend lives walking distance from La Fiesta Azteca, I’ve been wanting to try it for months.
We went late on a Sunday night, not long before closing, so the place was pretty empty. I’m not sure how busy it gets at prime time, but there were only a few other people in there.
I got a mango margarita to start, along with the complimentary chips and salsa. Both were excellent, but not the best I’ve had in my whole life.
For my meal, I got chicken enchiladas suiza, which were fantastic. The chicken was definitely nice and juicy, and the suiza sauce was perfect. The sour cream and chihuahua cheese on top were like the cherry on top of a sundae. I also got the corn in a cup, which was a bit heavy on the chili powder and too spicy for my tastes. The rice with the meal was just average.
I will definitely be back again!
