Most unreliable place to eat. They close when they want, they will even turn you away and say they are closed. Once I was actually told they ran out of bread. Place is a terrible.

As a whole Mr. Sub is an amazing franchise but this place is something else. I was done when I found out they don’t broil or steam their hot dogs. They just simple just throw them in the microwave. Whenever I go to smaller places I’m okay with paying more but I do expected them to cook better than normal fast food chains.

I like this place. I have bwwn coming here since 2004. The employees now are a little off but they do have good food. The oner just needs to learn how to schedule his high school employees properly. that’s all!

So, this joint is a few blocks from my parents’ house and I have been coming here on and off for the past twenty years! I used to hang out here with my friends when I was in high school(Yes…scary!). Also, my dad and I would buy the sandwich meals here on our way to the Bears games(Oh, the awesome memories!). Last week, when I was visiting my parents, I went back there with my dad to pick up lunch for my mom, dad, and me. The place is almost exactly the same! There was a line of male workers ready to chow down some lunch too. What is so great about this place?!? The super fresh ingredients and crispy fries(They also have pizza puffs and gyros.). Sure, Subway and Jimmy John’s is fine if you are in a rush and need a cheap lunch, but Mr. Submarine is the place to be if you are willing to spend an extra buck on less mass produced sandwiches(More love go into them!). I am so glad to see this independent sandwich shop still open after two decades. Can’t wait to go back with mom and pops!

One of my favorite sandwiches around. Forget pot belly, subway, jimmy johns. Mr sub is where its at. I think up have had every sandwich on the menu and I have never been disappointed. The place is always clean and the service is always fast. You also get free fries, chips or cole slaw with the order of a king sub. My personal favorite is the turkey sub with garlic fries. The garlic fries aren’t on the menu you just need to know about it to order them. They are well worth the extra 60 cents. If you’re looking for a great fresh sub at a good price then you should go to Mr. submarine.

Okay. My love for Mr. Sub as been well documented as of late. But I’ve about had it with the employees at this particular location. I’ve had enough of their lackluster order taking and creepiness. Seriously. Stop talking on your phone when taking my order so you don’t screw it up. Because even though you ask me five different times about my rather simple order, you still manage to screw it up somehow. And quit eyeballing my lady when I’m not looking. She’s scared to even place an order herself anymore. You ‘tards. It’s a shame cause the fries at this location are much better and they give you more. Hire non-idiot employees and we’ll gladly come back.

A standout in the franchise. Friendly staff. Attention to detail; I asked once about diet Dr Pepper, next time it was there and always stocked since. Cleaner than any other Mr Sub I’ve ever visited. I’m not sure if local smoking ordinances supersede the Cook County ban, but they do allow smoking so far.
