Papa John’s Pizza

Whenever I order papa Johns in order it here. However today I ordered a cookie and when I got it it was hard as a rock and burnt. The salad was just a pre packaged salad (didn’t expect that) and the cheese sticks were burnt. I usually live this place. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Probably my favorite franchised pizza place. Consistently good and fast delivery. Never had it take more than 30 minutes from phone call to a knock at the door.

Was very impressed from the service and engagement from an associate named Chad over the phone. Not only was able to offer me a special, he was hit energy and ever was the one that showed up at my door as I requested delivery !

These guys have lost me as a customer for Papa John’s forever.
I did an online order yesterday. Never got my pizza.
Called the store – «your telephone number doesn’t work».
It’s the same telephone number our business has had for the last 12 years. Yeah, it works.
«We don’t have any delivery drivers – call another store.» Followed by a rant that this is somehow all my fault… still trying to wrap my head around that one.
Called the other store.
«Oh, I don’t know when you’ll get your pizza – «
I demanded a refund. Doubt I’ll get one.
Lesson learned. Never order from this pizza chain. Guess it was worth losing $ 26.44 to learn just how bad their customer service can be. I have half a dozen disappointed people who were promised pizza and instead got a phone run around.

Walked in and placed a pizza order. Service was friendly and polite. When I came back to pick up my order they immediately knew who I was and had it ready. They asked if I needed cheese, peppers, or seasoning packets and recapped my order to ensure it was correct. All in all a quick and Pleasant experience.

Best service I have had in a corporate fast food restaurant. And the pizza was great. Super cheap. Can’t beat it.

This franchise (1 of 8 or 9 stores) is the worst Papa John’s we’ve ever encountered. The only reason they’re getting a 2^nd star is because of the staff, otherwise it would be 1.
Extra cheese is no longer a regular topping so you must pay extra for it beyond the regular cost. In addition their topping selection is super limited. Items you can get at other stores you cannot get here.
The only saving grace to this owners store is the staff he’s employed. They’re super friendly when they’re having to up the price. Haha

After getting low to medium quality pizza’s from Papa John’s off Foothill and Haven in Rancho Cucamonga, thought I would give 19^th street a try… Awesome, Patty made my pizza the way pizza should be with enough toppings, sauce and plenty of cheese drooling over. Got the online special deal 50%, Patty still made a fantastic pizza.
Worth going out of my way to 19^th Street & Carnelian !!!

I know it’s just a pizza place and you shouldn’t expect much in terms of customer service, but GOOD GAWD their customer service sucks. Absolutely the worst.
Of course, it’s mostly a teenage staff and I’m sure they have a quick turnover so it might have gotten better. All I know is the girl we spoke to on the phone sounded like we were bothering her, as she stood in the middle of a hurricane (I think their phone is broken). Ugh, worst.

Papa Johns has always made pizza where the cheese falls off basically as soon as you pick up a slice (regardless of how many toppings are on it). However, after having dealt with Dominos and their workers who had a smaller I.Q. than that of a stick of butter, I decided to try this place for the first time in 10 years. I was not disappointed. Overall the pizza was very tasty and I got everything I ordered.
Throughout this summer, Papa Johns is having a special where you get a pizza anyway you want it (any combination/​number of toppings) LARGE for 11 bucks. Considering a carry out 3 topping MEDIUM pizza is 15. xx+ tax, I was very pleased!
The guy on the phone (who later gave us our order at the store) was very friendly. I don’t recall his name, but he looked like a young version of Papa John (not even kidding!).
I give it ⁴⁄₅ stars…-1 star for the cheese falling off. Not the best pizza I had had but it was still a damn good pizza. They even gave us garlic sauce for free :)

Papa John’s Pizza is ok if you are looking for something cheap and quick. This location has had a carryout special for awhile, 5.99 for a large 1 topping pizza. I recommend plain cheese or pepperoni. I got mushroom once and the mushrooms just seemed a little off. This Papa John’s can get pretty busy, call in your order though and it will be ready in about 15 min.
