I was in Orlando for a meeting and afterwards I was hungry and wanted something different. Check Unilocal and this place popped up. In the corner of the shopping plaza, local reviews were good so gave it a try. Chose the large Cuban and it arrived hot and delicious. Genuine Cuban food for great price

Yum-o! I went here with a friend and was amazed that such yummy, and reasonably priced, Cuban food was so close to my house. I had the Midnight(Cuban sandwich on sweet bread) and it was really tasty. I also tried Jupina Pineapple soda which I really liked. It tasted a bit like candy so its definitely not an everyday drink. But I did notice a diet version in the cooler as well. I «think» they close around 7 pm, at least on weekdays. I didn’t notice a sign with their hours but they did go and lock the door around 7. So it seems like this definitely isn’t a late night place. I’m glad that we stopped in! Now I know that I’ve got a place close by to pick up a yummy Cuban sandwich when the mood strikes :)

Amazing Cuban sandwiches made to order! They do close when they want so go during lunch to get your fix! If they are out of a particular empanada they will make them fresh for you! Enjoy!

Everything we had was amazing! Large Cuban Sandwich, Beef Empanada, Ham croquette, Chicken Noodle Soup, all for $ 11.50 including taxes! Everyone was very friendly! Can’t wait to come back.

Just went there today… and dear lord! We first went in and got a chicken empanada and a beef empanada. My mother and I went to the car to eat, thinking we would just go home. After taking one bite, we were in heaven! Both meats had SO much flavor and the breading was to die for. We ended up going back in and got another beef empanada and a chicken croquette. With an empanada being $ 1.50 and a croquette $ 0.65, we couldn’t believe it. Amazing little hole in the wall! I highly recommend giving this place a try! We will definately be back!

Was excited to find this place, and with all the good reviews it had to be a hit. Yeah… Not so much. Was extremely disappointed with the Cuban. The meat was the equivalent to the deli meat at Winn Dixie. The ham was pressed deli meat, nasty. Not even sure what the other meat was. The place was run down, which I’m ok with, the tables were dirty which I’m not ok with. There were only a handful of tables, they could have been easily wiped down between customers. There were a lot of take out customers that appeared to be regulars, they were not getting the Cuban sandwiches. Maybe I should have observed them before ordering? Would I go back, do they deserve a second chance? Nope, I was not impressed at all.

Excellent find! My coworker and I stumbled upon this place and definitely will be back! The Hawaiian Cuban is awesome. Chicken empanadas are a must as well!

I’ve only dabbled in the Cuban sandwich here and it’s solid. Small little hole in the wall with about 6 tables. Good for dining in or getting food on the go. With the abundance of corporate options in the area I highly advise this as a change of pace. Fresh food and mom and pop feel.

First time at this location and it was a good experience, I had the Cuban sandwich the large one is $ 5 and some change and the small(6″)is $ 1.00 less. The sandwich was fresh, hot and GOOD. three words I like to have in my reviews but why not five stars? The place is hidden and I never knew this place even excited. I think this business needs some bigger advertising. They have Cuban pastry’s and even a buffet for $ 7.00 bucks plus your favorite coke products and tea, yes the place is kind of small but its not to hot inside and the owner or worker that was there that day was friendly and brought us our food. Good little hole in the wall place located next to a music shop on 436 before 434. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from including the Elena Ruth(my grandfather favorite) witch is guava, turkey and cream cheese. Good place I discovers today and I am happy I came here and will come back again soon to review it. The atmosphere here felt like a little Cuban restaurant in Miami.
