For the price place is spot on. Like your mamma said «you get what you pay for». Portion size good food is delicious. Cleanliness of the establishment is below par. Seems like when lights turned off ROCHES come out. 2 stars off for that

Today was the first time my wife and I have ever been to the Philly Connection and we were both very pleased. The food was made very quickly and to order. The employee was very friendly as well.

I am from Philly. I am a fan of ALL things Philly… Except for the 76ers! Go magic.
For me the Philly Connection has the flavor… Even though they lack the amoroso rolls that really make the Philly pop, it still tastes pretty dang good.
I was very disgusted by the atmosphere… Way under kept. Bathrooms stink like a gas stations might and it was a bit grungy everywhere I looked.
Seemed a bit uncared for inside.
I was also sad to see birch beer is out and no hope of returning since they offer IBC in bottles. My second option, orange crush, was also out…
Lucky for them the flavor was good… I still go 3 stars.

While this isn’t the most authentic cheese steak, it is good enough to kick my craving. There never are many people in here and prices have starting to increase over the years, almost outweighing the value. BUT they do have birch beer as a fountain soda and that gains a star for me. Overall, just OK.
