The best sushi in the whole world believe me I’ve been to almost all 50 states this is top of the line for a buffet. We come out of our way just to eat here and it well worth it!

This is a great Asian buffet. I’ve gone to this plaza a million times and never noticed it though. The create your own hibachi meal is a great addition to a buffet. They also have sushi. Staff is friendly.

I drove all the way from Winter Park to try out this buffet and I wasn’t disappointed. I went mainly for the sushi! There is over 15 rolls to choose from, as well as sashimi. The Lion King roll was the best! Also has salads, a few hot food staples like egg rolls and wontons, soups, chilled peel and eat shrimp, desserts etc. I was surprised at the size of this place, it’s huge! Not going to lie I found a couple hairs in my food. short black ones so beware! Good for the price, $ 12.99 per person for dinner. However the two hostess in the front didn’t even say bye to us on the way out. Honestly guys it’s a buffet so the quality wasn’t 4 stars but I left bursting at the seams and happy, I’ll most likely be back.

A few years ago I had a dream of a place that was wall-wall sushi. I never forgot that dream. And now somebody has made that dream a reality in the form of this restaurant! I went here for dinner for the first time last night and was NOT disappointed! I had dim sum and a few pieces of my favorite hot Chinese food items, all good. They also had different flavored mousses and ice creams for dessert(I had the green tea ice cream, which was delicious!) But the sushi was the real star here. Unlike other buffets(which usually only do fake crab and cream cheese rolls), this place had MANY varied rolls with different kinds of fish, veggies, and sauces. They even had nigiri and sashimi of white fish, yellow tail, salmon, and tuna. It was just like eating at a good sushi restaurant. Same quality, but ALLYOUCANEAT! Holy cow, I’m still excited about it the next day! You can eat MOUNTAINS of sushi for only $ 14.99! I easily spend more than that just picking up a few rolls from Publix! Do you understand why this is a dream come true?! DOYOU?

Not gonna say much here, just don’t come on a holiday, otherwise you get ridiculously jacked up prices and rude employees who don’t do anything at all except bring you one cup of drink and the check. Not worth the drive, not worth the price, not worth having to look at my upset nephew’s face because of rude people.

Probably one of the best sushi, hibachi, and Asian fusion buffets I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The establishment is very clean, the food selection is vast, and the ambience is well designed/decorated. They have a great selection of sushi ranging from sashimi to premium-type rolls. The servers were attentive and receptive to all our needs. I highly recommend the restaurant without any reservation at all!

Best buffet in town! You get so much for the price. You have a really large sushi selection, biggest and freshest I have seen for this price. There is a stir fry area, which looks great I just never have the patience to wait when there is plenty of food ready to be eaten. A decent selection when it comes to the salad bar. Which always looks fresh. Lots of hot food and also cold peel shrimp which I always love. I’ve never found the soups to look too appetizing so I haven’t tried it to have a say. The desert selection is pretty good. I LOVE that they have green tea ice cream. If only they had ginger ice cream, now that would make my day! Personal favorites: crab wontons, peel and eat shrimp, dumplings, everything on the sushi bar, rice crispy treats and ginger ice cream. I know it’s a weird selection but I’m weird so it works out. The place is really cool looking with a koi pond in the inside and random piano in the corner where I think the staff/someone practices and it could be heard throughout the restaurant at times. It has a very unique charm to it that keeps me coming back. Best place to go when you really just want to eat, I promise you will want to unbutton your jeans on the car ride home. And you should you just went to a great all you can eat spot.

Usually I have no problem here. However today I go and there’s over 20 people waiting. We’re told it’ll be a 5 – 10 minute wait. That’s fine. When I spelled my name for the girl I noticed we were towards the bottom on the page but one two names above us were not scratched off. All others were… While waiting, a party of 8 and another of 16 came in. Their names were written down and no wait time given to them just«it’ll be a little» while. 20 min goes by and the two larger parties were seated before my party of two… 2… One plus one… That was unbelievably ridiculous and now I know never wait when there’s a line waiting…

Just had lunch here, well sort of… and really enjoyed it. Food was fresh and plenty. The only annoyance was the labeling of many dishes with«dinner only» signs saying they will charge you extra, if you eat it… ugh! They need to figure out a better way of transitioning from lunch — 3:30 to dinner. We were caught right in the middle arriving at 3:15.

Biggest issue: We left at 9:45 when they closed at 10 and we had to walk through a completely dark dining room(the one adjacent to ours) and over a tile floor completely drenched in soapy water to leave the restaurant. Every square inch of non-carpeted floor in that place was completely covered, incredibly slippery, and there was not a single«wet floor» sign. That must be a massive insurance liability(which I have several pictures of) and I nearly slipped on my way out. Apparently their version of mopping involves creating a lake in the middle of their restaurant while customers are still there and having a team of guys push all the water into the parking lot with a broom. It would’ve been safer if I used the emergency exit by walking through an even darker dining room. That was the worst of it, but there’s more. We got there just after 8:30 when they close at 10 and there was practically nothing left and they clearly had no intention of replenishing anything. Some of the sushi was warm. We were told before 9:30 that it was last call, so I went to get another plate and brought it back to the table when I realized I had forgotten to get some soy sauce, so I went back up to the buffet and returned to find my full plate had been taken away. Shortly after that they started cleaning which was incredibly loud and made it impossible to enjoy the short remainder of my meal. I have pictures and video of all the wet floors if it would interest Koy Wan’s insurance company or the health department.

Koy Wan is a great place for tasty sushi! I am a sushi connoisseur, and this place has melt in your mouth sushi and sashimi alike. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, and neat. The«hot» food is okay, but they could amp it up some. All in all, great place for some sushi at an affordable cost. I originally gave this establishment four stars, but due to a recent visit, I downgraded the review to three. The restaurant closed at 10, and they were taking away food at a quarter after 9:00. I know this seems trivial, but it’s the principle. Furthermore, the service just isn’t that great.

My boyfriend loves this place. Since I’m vegan my choices aren’t as plentiful as his but there are plenty of veggies to throw on the hibachi Fresh broccoli, onion, mushrooms, peppers, carrots etc and plenty of sushi options for vegans. Just ask them if your confused The front lobby is really pretty as well. Pretty piano and a really nice koi fish pond My only complaint is the hot bathroom(they could turn on or down the A/C) it’s not that noticeable in the dining room but the bathroom is a different story Also the bathroom could use a good clean

I went there for the father’s day special. They were offering lobster but when I messaged them in facebook asking about the lobster they said they were not going to have any. I asked why would they still promote it and they said they would fix that; they never did. Overall, the food was okay. I really like the korean ribs, buns, and mochi. The sushi was the best part, since they have a wide variety. However, $ 15 for the father day special was not worth it. They had crab legs instead but still crab legs are far from lobster and they shouldn’t give false advertisement.

Food was better than usual Chinese buffets. Large sushi selection which had a lot of raw fish options instead of cream cheese filled rolls. This was a plus and they had a variety of sashimi! There were also a good amount of veggie sushi for my BF. Their biggest draw is their hibachi grills. Two separate grills. You pick your veggies and meat and a sauce. The hibachi chefs cook in front of you and then put the food on nice rectangular plates. I stick to the meats usually. There was«white sauce» aka yum yum sauce in a pump container. Please do yourself and the restaurant a favor and do NOT overload your plate. For one, you look tacky. Just put on your plate what you will actually eat. And two, you’re being wasteful. The rest of the buffet was okay. There was a little bit more variety of Chinese food as opposed to Americanized food. But nothing too special. Crab legs were extra apparently according to the sign posted on the door. I think you have to order it separately. There was also a sign that said 2 hour limit for dining in. Pricing wasn’t bad-$ 12.99 for dinner. Dessert was normal fare but they did have a mint mouse cup thing that was unique. Overall, stick with the sushi and hibachi if you want to get your money’s worth. I would come back if I was in the area and craving sushi buffet but would not make a special trip. It feels like the quality had gone down a little since my last visit. Although restaurant was pretty with the water and semi-Japanese décor, all the signs just made it feel a little unwelcoming.

First of all, you either are that person who LOVES buffets or hates them. I don’t really love them. Typical mass produced food that is below mediocre quality. I have been blown away by some buffets in the past. This is not one of them. My biggest gripe would be how messy the buffet was. For Florida’s largest Chinese buffet they need a person strictly keeping up w/the buffet. There were remnants of other food in different food places. The signs didn’t match what was there. It was a mess. The counters around the buffet area were a mess. 5 minutes and a wet towel would make it look a thousand times better. I tried the sushi and the chinese buffet. Nothing to write home about. I did not get to try the hibachi items but wasn’t thrilled by the raw meat sitting on the outside of the buffet bar where everyone walks by. Typical chinese buffet. Ehhhhh.

This place used to be pretty decent, but on my last visit… well… The toilets are reminiscent of a port-o-potty Nothing seems either hot or cold, just room temperature Half the things offered up are full of junk spilled over from other dishes allowing cross contamination Kids rarely supervised by parents(crawling around on the floor even) Humans! Control your young!

This restaurant was spotted at the Chinese newspaper ad in tampa. We decided when we in Orlando we will visit them. I alway not a fan for buffet, but my wife like it. The restaurant is located in plaza corner. It is difficult to find if you looking Koy Wan, if you looking for buffet you will find it. The restaurant is open by Chinese owner. We came about 8pm and the restaurant will close at 10pm. They have Japanese sushi, Chinese cuisine and hot plate grill section. I am not calling it as hibachi since they are not. It almost like Mongolian plate. After the first dish we realize they have not refill their food. I realize that we are the last group of the customer as a clean up crew. I mean left over food clean up and finish them. With the way they running the business I am not recommending for any dinner at this place. I bet you the early bird got better food with refill their buffet table compare to actual dinner customer. In fact the dinner is actually $ 2 dollar extra and you have to clean up their dish and the left over. I recommended you should not come here after they have serve the lunch. They charge you more for the left over food. Doesn’t make sense. The only reason they still got two star is their waiter give a good service. I was going to give them one star.
