Applebee’s

We love this place. Friendly, very good food, service is right on, clean. Prices are reasonable and portions are not skimpy. We visit quite often and recommend.

VERY SLOW SERVICE. We were there before noon, there were only 3 other tables with customers. After 1 hour and we didn’t have put appetizers, we decided to leave. We got ready to leave and they didn’t even care that we did.

In the not-​so-​distant past, this particular Applebee’s location was a place we avoided due to terrible experiences with both food and service.
Several months ago I caught wind that this restaurant was under new management, so we decided to visit and see if things had changed. I am very glad that we gave this place another shot!
We have visited this Applebee’s location 3 times recently and each time the service has been quick and friendly, the food was hot and fresh, and our orders were correct. We typically reserve this joint for a late night snack on the weekends when I just don’t want to cook.
The soft pretzels and brew pub cheese are probably my favorite dish on the menu — hot pretzels with a crunchy outside and chewy inside, gooey cheese fondue and a side of zesty honey mustard to cut through the richness.
The grilled chicken wonton tacos are always a nice treat — crisp fried wontons filled with spicy chicken and refreshing slaw, 4 tacos to an order so it’s a light meal for someone with a smaller appetite.
My boyfriend is a burger lover and the Cowboy burger is his favorite — it’s extremely flavorful and big enough to satisfy his appetite.
I’m glad this location has shaped up, since it is a stone’s throw from my home it is super convenient.

Food was very good; waitress very nice, took 20 minutes for food or even someone to take our order– total of 40 minutes. The whole restaurant doesn’t even have silverware wrapped up for you. They are having problems with the kitchen and then rolling silverware. Everyone next to us don’t have any either. Food is delicious, but everything else was terrible!

Our visit to the local Applebees was pleasant f.a.s.t and delicious. It was obvious they were coming to a close from a busy dinner run. Greeted by the host… bam greeted by the server… bam…, drinks and appetizers were delivered fast and efficiently. My server Amber was tentative and did a quick check back after the her team member delivered the Bourbon Street steak. I really did want another glass of wine I do believe my server got a little busy, and wasn’t able to check back with me, but that’s okay. I’m definitely going to come back & recommend this Applebees to my friends and family. Love the new

Average service, kinda slow. Food is what you would expect from an Applebees. Drink prices are outrageous and they have a small tap selection. Only plus was ½ price appetizers and .45 cent wings after 9. Wings weren’t bad I must admit, queso could use some work. Also really stupid, you can smoke only at the bar, not the bar area, just if sitting at the bar, makes no sense.

Talk about bad. Sunday at noon, we asked to sit in the bar area. It took a server 20 minutes to get our drink order. We then waited 10 minutes to give our order, a combination appetizer, a sandwich and a salad. 50 minutes later the manager brought 2 of the 3 appetizers, telling us that they were out of the third and he would discount the item 50%. They were cold. Hot wings and cheese sticks are not good cold. 20 minutes later I asked for the manager again. The server came back with a bill. $ 15 for a glass of tea and a strawberry lemonade and 2 appetizers we could not eat. Until there in new management, there is no way I’ll be going back to that restaurant.

This is an update. I was contacted by a district manager for Appleby’s. He reviewed the issue with me and agreed there was a failure by the restaurant and apologized for the poor experience. He also committed to resolve the problem by dealing with the root of the problem. He also mailed us coupons for free meals. While I appreciate the effort he put forward I won’t go over 3 stars. I will just tell you to try it yourself and decide pn your own.
