Really excellent food. Filet perfectly done and soooo tender. Vegetables were just right — steamed with freshness still obvious and just enough crispness left in the broccoli. The babyback rib meat dropped right off the bone. Offered us a taste of the chicken tortilla and the baked potato soups — both were delicious! Also gave us a taste of the bellini and the margarita– will have to order either(or both) next time in. Just picked it because we were unfamiliar with the restaurant when passing through. So glad we did!

The food was mediocre at best, and our orders were not right. The wait staff was great, but it doesn’t make up for bad food.

Showed up at 9:45 p.m. which I know is a taboo thing to do but the staff was friendly and still seated us. We ordered, we got our food in a very quick time although I felt a bit rushed to choose from the menu. Being our first time it took a while to select something. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer which were a little bland so we had to salt them but was a good portion size. My daughter got a double cheeseburger which was pretty good according to her and I ordered the buffalo chicken the chicken breast was small which was kind of disappointing. The fries were a little hard but good portioning. we were checked on several times while we were here however there was several staff standing around chit chatting nearby a bit of a distraction. although it was nice to have the manager personally come over and greet us to make sure everything was okay. Overall it was mediocre food that was pricey. $ 30 with tip for two people and we drank water. it was a good experience I will be back.

Went the 1st time soon after it opened in Amarillo, it was good, everything above average. 2nd time had reservations for a party of 8, they did not inform me we could not be seated together at one table, until we got there. Walked out angry. Gave it another try last night and glad I did. EVERYTHING was perfect. Food was on point, Aubry was a phenomenal server, everyone busy working as a team, and the manager worked rounds checking on tables!!!

Wife and I stopped in for dinner. Waitress said they were known for steak and ribs. I can’t complain at all about her recommendation, steak was done perfectly. Steak was seasoned properly, no steak sauce needed. The wife had the ahi tuna, also prepared very well.

We have eaten here twice now and between the 4 of us have sampled many dishes. We love this place! Wonderful food and great staff. I’m so glad this has opened up here in Amarillo! One of our new favorite places!

My wife and I thought that we would try this restuarant for the first time. Prices were expensive for the amount of food that we received. All of the food we ate was bland with the exception of the queso that we ate as an appetizer. We thought that the queso was fantastic… until a few hours later when we both had intestinal distress. Atmosphere was pleasant and the service was incredible. It’s too bad that we had such crappy food brought to us so quickly. We will not be returning and anyone that wants to try this restaurant should steer clear.

The staff was terrible. Waiter only checked on us twice the whole time we were there. We waited for our food for 45 min. They were moderately busy. Food wasn’t hot. It was at room temp. The fries were overcooked. Staff not doing their jobs staff was chatting amongstt themselves. Menu had food on it. The food was good but the sides weren’t good. Over all my experience was bad. But I will consider coming back.

We are here on 11/17, a Tuesday night and fairly early so it wasn’t crowded. The service was really good and we got our food quickly. My husband has the steak fajita tacos which were a little messy, but he liked them. I had the thin crust pepperoni pizza. It was a little greasy, but pepperoni usually is. It was very good. We will be back to try different dishes!

Good bye Outback, Hello Aspen Creek! The place is warm and very friendly. I sat in the bar area at a high top table. Great Choice. The host Sabin took great care of me. I had the Ribeye with grilled onions and mushrooms. WOW! Their steaks are fresh and hand cut daily. The loaded bake was full of everything. I would give it a 5 star but. A 5 star is Jack Bionons Steak house in Shreveport, LA. I’ll be back!

They don’t allow emotional therapy dogs. We were denied service after being seated. Was told by manager it was a new rule.

I placed a to go order on the phone to this restaurant since my daughter was still napping and we needed dinner. I ordered two cheese pizza kids meal, 1 cheeseburger kids meal, spinach chicken bacon pizza, and a side of sweet potato fries. They said it will be ready in 10 – 15 mins. When I arrived my food was ready, they just had to give me my drinks. One of the cashiers was kind of enough to help me with the drinks to my car since they didn’t have cup holders. The spinach chicken bacon pizza was really good! The kids enjoyed their pizza, but the cheeseburger was missing cheese! The sweet potato fries were soggy, but I still ate it.

Upon arrival we were told the waiting time would be 5 – 15 minutes. We asked for a booth and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Tonight the atmosphere is a bit rowdy. I’m not sure if it’s because there’s a football game on at the bar or because the people at the bar are really«feeling» their drinks. For an appetizer we enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip(and the rowdy crowd left). The dish was temperature hot and took a bit to cool down enough to actually eat. It was a bit too liquidy for my liking but seemed to thicken up as it cooled. Overall it was very tasty. For our entrées I picked shrimp and grits. This was definitely a unique dish but very satisfying! The green chile cheese grits are so wonderful. Not to spicy but very pleasing. The grits are topped with shrimp tossed in a creamy lobster sauce. It was quite the treat, if you’re looking for something different. Literally, each bite got better and better. My husband’s dish was actually tastier than mine. He got the Aspen catch. This fish was tossed in the same creamy lobster sauce with shrimp on a bead of rice. It was definitely one of the best dishes, everyone who came by our table to greet us, was a fan! To sum it all up, we thought we’d go out with a bang and try the fried cheesecake with ice cream for dessert. This was good but a little to heavy for me. Overall our experience was definitely pleasing. The staff is exceptional and I will absolutely be coming back!

Not great! There isn’t ONE thing on the menu that sets Aspen Creek apart from the rest of the restaurants chains in Amarillo. Plain Jane. Service was fine. Our food lacked in quality and taste:(

Pow Wow Shrimp! Wow! That’s all I can say. I don’t even like seafood and this shrimp has come up as a dish I crave. The tender shrimp are encased in a light golden batter, then tossed in a sweet and tart sauce, served over a bed of flavorful rice and topped with scallions. Love! We have tried the fried catfish — generous portion and tastes like Grandma’s. The Dijon Bacon Chicken is awesome as well, smoky, cheesy, and the chicken was so juicy. My favorite entrée yet has been the Southwestern Steak Sandwich, it’s very similar to a Philly but it has more of a Southern flare with the seasoning. The garlic aioli is amazing, get some extra to dip your fries! The only thing I have tried that I didn’t like was the Fish Tacos entrée. I’m just not that into seafood, but my boyfriend, who LOVES fish, commented that they were just really bland. I agreed.

THISPLACEWASSHIT. SHITSHITSHIT. I seasoned my own cole slaw at the table because it had ABSOLUTELYNOSEASONING. My buttered corn was swimming in butter, and unfortunately, that was the tastiest thing on my plate. The steaks were way overcooked and too underwhelming. All in all, an unfortunate restaurant I can never un-try.

First time to eat at this new restaurant after hearing some good reviews from friends and family that have visited there. I had a very good chicken fried steak and my wife the Santa Fe chicken. She said she would not hesitate to order it next time. While the steak I had was very good I will try something else from their varied menu. The staff welcomed us as we walked to our seats, everyone including the people bussing the tables. Our waiter was attentive but not a nuisance and once he knew we were through with our food he produced our check. I hate waiting for the check at so many restaurants. Of course we will be going back since there really were no negatives to our experience.

We decided to try this new place out and called ahead to put our name on the list. She said it would be about 20 – 25 minutes took down our information and my phone number and they shoot you a text so you can download an app to see where you are on the wait list. We arrived and checked in and they advised us we would be notified by text when our table was ready. It took about 35 minutes to seat us but we were given a complementary queso & salsa with chips for waiting longer than expected. For the appetizer we ordered the potato skins topped with cheese and bacon and the deep fried mushrooms. The potato skins were good but the fried mushrooms had a strange burnt odor in the batter so we didn’t care much for it. For the dinner we ordered the hot habanero burger, flamed seared«ahi» tuna, the aspen creek catch, & the tenderloin kebob. The burger was yummy and had a good kick to it. The seafood dishes both were great and had good flavor. The kebob was way, way, way salty. I think it was just the sauce/glaze that was on it because even the grilled veggies tasted like it was immersed in salt. I could not eat it. For dessert I ordered the fried cheesecake and the warm chocolate brownie. Both came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Those were both good. Overall I would say it was a pleasant experience except for the fried mushrooms and kebob but both items were removed from our bill. Our server was very nice and friendly and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere and menu is very similar to Chedders. I would like to go back and try the thin crust pizza and lunch specials
