Baker Bros. American Deli

Quality control at both Amarillo locations is completely lacking. Wilted lettuce on sandwiches and too much gristle in meats are not problems at other locations I’ve recently been to.

Well that was a disappointment…
Ordered the siciliano sandwich… I had such high hopes– but I couldn’t even take more then 2 bites! The lettuce in it was so wilted that it was slimy… And every ingredient in it was just salt, on top of salt that I could even enjoy it.
Don’t know if I will be back, since I just wasted $ 10 on a lunch in the trash.

Great deli, very wide selection for a deli! I had the wrap, in the past I’ve had a sandwich, always been good!

Had large group with me and we stopped at this location. The restaurant was definitely not busy at dinner time. Lots of items on the menu. I ordered the ruben and was disappointed. The meat was very little and the kraut was a very-​very thin layer on the bottom of the sandwich. The «russian dressing» covered everything. Seemed like they soaked the sandwich in the dressing and I frankly did not like the taste. Others in the party had a variety of sandwiches. The prices were rather high for the quantity and quality. This is an order at the from counter and you go back and pick up when your name is called. I have visited much better delis in the past and probably won’t stop by this location again.

Food is pretty good but a bit expensive especially for the pizza. Pizza is very small for $ 6.88. My Second trip to Baker Bros. and probably won’t be back. Better values elsewhere.

Great salads and sandwiches. The Chicago Chopped Salad is delicious. Sweet tea! Clean dining area, fast service. Convenient location, plenty of close parking.
