Chili’s

Still the old faithful of chain restaurants. Food is good and service reliable. I love the skilke queso still and any chicken dish. Burgers are good too.

Food was good, our server was great (Justin). Our food was brought to our table by some fat bitch with black greasy hair. When she brought it, she asked if we needed anything else. My wife pointed out that she didn’t get her thousand/​special sauce on the side as she requested and this bitch says, «Well, here’s the BBQ sauce» (it was there on the side) so my wife explained, again, she had ASKED for the other sauce. She spins around in a huff, storms off and comes practically running by and basically throws it on our table without breaking stride! I’m like WTF?, but she was gone. We alerted our server that she was very rude, unprofessional and just her general appearance would tell you she should go back to whateverburger or maggotdonalds or whatever fast food place she just stopped working at where she could get away with this crap. We expected a visit from a manager, but she looked about the same, so I assume they were of the same caliber. We are visiting the area and most likely won’t be returning here but if I do and I see her, I’m turning around and walking right out the door!

We stopped for lunch, hostess was not at the front and waited awhile, with an almost empty restaurant. And it was FREEZING!!! Service was off, only redeming factor was the food actually wasn’t terrible, my girlfriend’s food was a little burnt though.

We were sat in a very loud bar area and food was greasy for the most part.

We stopped in last night for dinner and was seated with no wait at all. We got our drinks away and ordered our food. We waited for over 30 minutes before someone came to our table and said he was sorry for the wait but they messed up my order and it would be out in 2 minutes. After another 15 minutes of waiting we got up and left. I will NOT go back there again.

Everyone but my food was great… mine was so spicy that out was inedible… plus the kitchen messed mine up so out came out after everyone else was fine with there lunch… but the server was great!

My wife and I stopped here last night on our way to Arizona. I will say our waitress was fantastic. The food on the other hand… we couldn’t believe how sub par it was. I haven’t been to a Chilis in 6 years or so, but I sure don’t remember it being this bad. I ordered the fajitas. The chicken was super spongy and tasted fake. I’m almost 100% certain it was a Tyson type of frozen chicken strips that I’ve had before from the grocery. The white tortillas she brought had obviously been sitting out because they were stiff and crunchy. I paid extra for rice and beans and literally got a spoonful of rice.
My wife ordered the 6oz sirloin. I have never tasted steak this bad. Like the chicken, it was extremely spongy and grainy. It had obviously been frozen, then defrosted, then cooked, then reheated. I know because I’ve done this with steak, and this was how it tasted. Horrible. The mashed potatoes weren’t bad. They were the only thing that didn’t taste microwaved.
My 1 year old got grilled chicken and broccoli. It was so so. Not as bad as our entrees but not too good either.
Luckily we had a gift card so we didn’t pay much for this meal. Oh yeah the strawberry lemonade was weak too. Overall we were both incredibly disappointed and spent the rest of the night with terrible gas. Be warned.

The only reason I am writing this review is to thank our wonderful bartender, John, for being so kind and helpful. My boyfriend and I are both in the service industry and we’re very pleased with our experience here thanks to John. Our food was — ya know — Chili’s food, but our service made it feel like a local, homey restaurant.

Decent as far as Chilis go. We were sat in the bar area on a very cold day Amarillo (–5 with the windchill) in the draft corridor or the doors, but we got reseated and all waa well.
The food was the norm for Chilis, which is fine because that what I come to a Chilis for… consistency. My triple dipper was tasty as always.
It was all day happy hour on the Tuesday I stopped in, so it was great to get a tall beer for 3 bucks and change.
They also had these really awesome tabletop touchpads called Ziosks where you could peruse menus, reorder drinks, play games, read online newspapers, and even pay your check. I did pay my bill via my Ziosk and it was neat that they had a sliding scale for the tip which adjusted the bill based on the percentage. The only issue I had was it printed me a blank receipt, but I was able to get a copy from the waiter.
The service was good and our waiter Mike was nice. The only real gripe I had was it took way too long for our food to come out. It was almost 30mins before we got our meal and for a Chilis that wasn’t that busy when we ordered, it was a bewilderment as to what took so long. Other than that, it was a good pitstop in the frigid Texas Panhandle.

Great… Wife and I eat here… We don’t eat out much but when we do we go to places that treat us well/​respectfully, good food and clean establishment. You can’t go wrong here… Staff friendly and helpful… Food great… Clean… And when we leave, we feel like we had a great experience … Have And will be returning… Thanks chilis!

Poor service… the waitress forgot to turn in our order so it took close to an hour to get our food. Also the waitress asked if we wanted dessert even before our food had shown up! Hello??? Get a clue! Also food was cold! Not a good Chili’s experience.

The food is as good as any Chilis around.
Lackluster staff.
