The décor may have been re-done but the service is still painfully slow. Only one waitress working the entire restaurant(including checking people out). You can hear the cook in the back telling said waitress to use a tray and other reminders. Meh

Unbelievable. Our waitress was horrible. She neglected tables, gave my boyfriend’s pancakes to another table because she«forgot to put the order in» for their table, twice and only realized it when she started to walk by their table with our food! From the look of the other tables they were sharing in the terrible service. I saw one table request a manager. The food was bad. I had blueberry pancakes. They never flipped the pancakes, so one side was all porous & white with uncooked blueberries. When we checked out we saw the waitress & another waitress yell at a third waitress. You could tell the two were overwhelmed & it wasn’t busy or full. The third seemed unsurprised by our experience & apologetic. Some people just aren’t cut out to be in food service.

Terrible Denny’s. There was no eating at 9:30 when the group arrived(first clue), overheard the cook say she was getting sick(second clue), and the wood trim inside is super cheap rough cut with paint slapped onto it; the corner cutting must go all the way to the top(third clue). Getting the right drinks to the right people’s at a table of 9 was a fiasco that took three trips, refills were few and far between. Waited almost an hour for the first orders to arrive. When they did they were all cold, missing items. Some didn’t get their food until others were practically done, no one cleared their plate. They weren’t complicated orders either, mostly burgers and omelets. After almost two hours people were just getting their food and missing items. After all that they only knocked $ 20 off a $ 120 check. Never eat there! If there was a way to give less than one star this would be the time.

DONOTGOHERE. They are short cooks and wait staff. Waited 55 minutes. No one checked on us. Was told our order was almost ready… to put on the grill! We had two more orders in front of ours. We had two coffees and one tea. U think the GM would of paid for it? No! We got no apologies from the The GM! The bathrooms smell really bad(putting very lightly). Water or something was all over the floor! We just paid and left.

After a long haul and late night my sister and I just wanted a simple breakfast this morning before we got back on the road. When we entered this Denny’s we almost left. The place was dirty and had a smoking section inside the restaurant. But the reviews for the food were good and our table was clean so we decided to give it a try. SOGLAD we did. Food was excellent, prepared exactly as we ordered. Our server Susan was friendly and attentive. She kept my coffee hot and filled the entire meal. The restrooms were small but clean. Wish I could give this place 5 stars, but the cleanliness and smoking issue need attention.

Whenever we are in Amarillo we stop at Denny’s on the way out for a brunch. It has always been our tradition. I ordered the peanut butter cup pancakes with hash browns, eggs and bacon. It was delicious! My hubby and our family were all pleased with their meals as well. Our server was attentive and our drinks were always filled. It was Easter, and we did not even have to wait. We will return!

Don’t waste your time coming here. Although the food was up to Denny’s standard the wait and service were not. We waited over 50 min and would have left except the waitress kept telling us it was on the way. Will not go there again.

This was by far the worse experience ive had at a restaurant. Waited over an hour for food got my second cup of coffee well after my cup was empty. Deneys will be off my list of places to go forever.

Don’t ever eat here! This is the grossest Denny’s in the country. They haven’t cleaned the floor in years and the cups are not washed. The hostess left the building on her phone right after I waked in, then came back in 5 minutes later and said«just 1?» Still on her phone. I waited almost 30 minutes for my check too. Horribly managed, never cleaned and poor service. The bathroom floors have gunk and stick from the 80s. There’s not a single good thing about this place. I would give it 0 stars if I had the option. This dump should be bulldozed.

*** BEWARE *** We stopped here because it had the most starts out of the 3 Denny’s in the area. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like an old Vegas casino and reeking of cigarette smoke, even in the non-smoking section. There was one waitress who had several piercings on her face and looked pissed off and another waitress who didn’t even looked like she worked there because it seemed like she was wearing scrubs like you would find in a medical office. The guy sat us down and served us water and said our waitress would be with us soon. The unhappy waitress kept telling us she’d be with us in a minute from across the room without even looking at us. We weren’t even sure she was talking to us. Then she complained to someone that she’s taking care of all the tables but she had to clean something up first. I guess cleaning is more important than taking our orders? We waited about 10 – 15 minutes and finally walked out. It was actually a blessing in disguise because we discovered The Big Texan a few miles down the 40 fwy and it was the best steakhouse with the most delicious steak I’ve ever had(and I’ve had steaks from all the best places) and it was very kid-friendly as well which made my 8 and 11 yr old girls as happy as me. I would not recommend this Denny’s to anyone. My kids call it the Zombie Land of Denny’s because that’s what it felt like to us.

This is a quite decent late night hangout for subculture folks. The food is decent, the service is adequate, and it’s a great way to meat other weirdos that may share your weird interests. Come very late and be prepared to tip well to justify table camping — or don’t and be prepared to try to make friends and thus SHARE a camped table to thus offset the server’s burden. I recommend coffee, french fries, and ranch dressing. $ 5 for food and $ 5 for tip. The weirdo conversation is free.

While at first I wasn’t sure about this place… the staff seemed upset with other staff members, our waitress was nice and friendly and service was fast. I was surprised at the egg white options on the menu as I usually have to ask for substitutions when I go out.
