First of all let me start by saying this review may be a little biased. I say that because of the fond childhood memories of going to Hastings too rent movies and read videogame magazines. It was awesome to see the DVD rental aisles still bustling with teens, couples and families looking for a movie to watch. Especially in the time of Redbox, Netflix and the demise a blockbuster. It definitely brought back that good feeling of nostalgia.

I love coming here to buy books and movies. You can always find good online coupons to use in the store. They frequently run a sale where all used movies are«buy one get one for $ 1». That’s my favorite time to stock up on movies. On the flipside, I don’t recommend selling movies back to this company. I brought in 16 BluRays including 2 new releases. They only took 11 of them(including the new ones of course). Guess how much money I got. $ 26. Yep, $ 26 for 11 BluRay movies that they will sell for an easy $ 140 if not more. I was very disappointed to say the least.

This place is hidden behind the United Supermarket so not that many people know about this location. I come here for peace and quiet and study in the reading section. Staff is very nice. they have a coffee shop and one of the workers actually came up to me and took my order for coffee. I didn’t have to get up for anything. I recommend this place for someone who needs a quiet study area of just want to enjoy a cup of joe with friends.
