I’ve used several dealership service departments here in Amarillo. Some better than others. None compare to the friendly, professional service provided by McGavock Nissan. Ben and his crew are top notch when it comes to service. The dealership personnel go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. There is no cold isolated waiting room making you feel like you’re infected. McGavock Nissan has an open customer waiting area with snacks and water provided. Sit and have a warm cookie or fresh popcorn while watching TV and before you know it, you car is ready. I was very concerned when looking at buying a Nissan. The first thing I did was visit with the service manager, Ben. I was immediately impressed. It made my decision to buy a Nissan so much easier. I have not regretted my decision. The car is solid, but there were a couple of service items I needed done. All I can say is that this service department is one other dealerships should model themselves after. I get my routine service work, oil changes, done here because they don’t try to sell you on other services like every other oil change place does. My next car will be a Nissan because of Ben and his team.

Driving from TN. to CA. my Xterra broke down. I had it towed to McGavock Nissan worried about the quality of the customer service, workmanship, and cost for repair. The second I walked in I was fully encouraged everything would be alright. In the end, these guys took care of me, from little things like remembering my name and offering snacks and drinks to major things like immediately brining my Xterra in, opening it up, finding out what’s wrong, and working past closing to get it fixed so I could get back on the road. They even helped me find a cheap hotel, dropped me off and picked me up. These guys helped a bad situation feel better for sure! Shout outs to go all the guys but namely Ben, Sean, Kelly, and Raymond!
