We had a decent experience at palio. My husband ordered pasta with grilled chicken spanich mushroom. It was fairly good. Although the sauce could be from a jar though. I ordered the Greek gyro. It was ok. It wasn’t too bland with the sauce. But the meat was too dry and overcooked for sure. The service was good. I had a moscato punch and they gave me a long Island for free. That made me pretty happy. We also had a pizza to go. It was Mediterranean and Hawaiian half and half. It was decent. But definitely not as good as fire slice or 575.

Palio’s — 1400 — 10.24.15 We were in the area with a craving for«something we haven’t had lately» so we chose Palio’s for a late lunch. I was really surprised at how empty the place was for a Saturday afternoon, hoping it didn’t mean bad things for the future of the business. The GM opened the door for us when we arrived, we were seated immediately and our server, Carson(also the bartender that day) came quickly to take our drink order. Again, I had to try the Bloody Mary — it was not the best one I have ever had, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I just like a little more spice and seasoning. Travis ordered the Maria’s BBQ chicken pizza and I ordered the Noah’s pizza. Our food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh, with tons of toppings. We always enjoy Palio’s Pizza for a quick meal on the go! Service is wonderful and the food is great. It isn’t my «favorite» pizza in town, but the convenient location and quick service make it a regular dine-in pizza stop for us.

Best pizza in town, which means I need to go back and revise a review I wrote about another place which just got bumped to #2. We ordered Canadian bacon, Romano tomatoes, mushrooms, and baby spinish. All the ingredients were fresh, the crust was light and crispy. Yum. The wings are good too. Its one of the few places in town that serves gyros, although the lamb is processed, its still good. My daughter notes the children’s chicken tenders are the best in town too. I tasted them, and I have to agree. Its a real piece of chicken. Yum yum.

Definitely worth a second visit. We came around 4pm and business was very slow. We were greeted by our waiter who had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. My wife had the gyro and greek salad. She said her salad was average but the gyro is probably the best shes had in town, with a good portion of meat. I had an Alfredo pizza which was great. Amarillo is a harsh town when it comes to restaurants that try to do anything different, and I’m sure the fact that they do not serve frozen chicken fried steaks will be held against them but I hope they last. Will visit again.

Granted, I’ve only been one, but I’ll for sure go again. The staff was great. They are all so friendly, even the waiters that weren’t ours, and that makes me feel welcomed. The food was perfect. I’d say it’s the best homemade pizza in town. The crust was crisp and the toppings were fresh. We ordered the Cade & Blake, chicken Alfredo and kids spaghetti. All were fresh and awesome. I’m very pleased with this place.

Located in a strip center this place is a little hard to find the first time. That being said, give this place a try! Our service was impeccable. The server checked on us repeatedly without being overbearing. Additionally, management came by to check on us as well. We started with wings as an appetizer. The dry rub wings were excellent. Our pizza was the Hawaiian Sunrise(think that’s the name). It was very good. We loved the thin crust and the toppings were generous. We both had the white sangria. It, too, was far above average. Enjoyed everything we tried here. Is it perfect? No, but it is definitely a place we will go back to and recommend friends try as well!

After eating New Mexican and Tex Mex for several days of our visit west, pizza sounded good. We tried the Greek salad and The King(supreme style) pizza. The waiter split the salad for us. The salad tasted pretty good and the pizza tasted great. The crust was thin and crunchy and the top was loaded with ingredients. Overall, great experience.

Hubby wanted this to be a one star review. It got the second star, because my cocktail was good, appetizer was okay and service was decent. Beer selection is not great, but adequate. Should mention we are beer snobs. We ordered an Italian sub that was mediocre. The lettuce core they used in our salad was awful. Iceberg lettuce automatically drops the salad rating down, but this was mainly the lettuce core #inedible. The chips that came with the sandwich were good. Of course they came in a bag. Husband says the food… not the salad since we couldn’t eat it, will make a turd. We didn’t complain but the manager did come around and ask. Kudos for that. He gave us a card for free salad next time… not sure there will be a next time

There are only a few places in town to get a good thin crust pizza, and Palio’s is now at the top of the pack. Their thin crust is nice and crispy and not bready at all. The Greek salad was also delish! Service was good and all the staff seemed friendly and happy to be there. We had the«Ralphie»(which in retrospect seems like a terrible name for anything that you are wanting to eat), however, it was fantastic! We added jalapeños and they were STOUT! We will definitely be back to try out the other pizzas on the menu.

I will start with one big positive. The staff were all very friendly. Great people all around so it kind of pains me to say I didn’t like much of anything else. The place was full and with that many people it was extremely loud. Not sure how to fix this but it is hard to enjoy a meal if you can’t hear those on the other side of the table talking. Price to portion ratio was not great. And food was mediocre at best. Our table had pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, and chicken Alfredo so a solid sample of the offerings and every one shared the same opinion … okay but nothing spectacular.

Liked it a lot ! The pizza is 575ish, which is far from being a bad thing. Nice place, clean and sharp. Service was ok and most importantly pizza was delicious. After half a large one I was full but never felt heavy ! I will sure come back ! I’m my opinion, a better bang for the buck vs. 575 !

The pizza was really tasty! The crust was a little thicker than 575’s, with the right combination of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. To be honest, I prefer this crust to both 575 and Fire Slice, although both make quality crusts as well. The toppings were piled on and tasted very fresh. I don’t normally like sliced tomato on my pies, but these were perfect. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. They’re able to split a pie into two different recipes, including different sauces on each slice. There were two things we didn’t see on the website(and were therefore a little hesitant to visit), but found at the restaurant when we actually visited: they do have a full bar, with a reasonable selection of wine, and they do have green chile available as a topping. Both are important for our date nights. They also have gluten free crusts in multiple sizes. They’re purchased from a third party, but I’ll be bringing my Celiac mother to the restaurant in the next few days to get her verdict.

Pizza was good. Ingredients tasted fresh. Bruschetta wasn’t as cooked as we would have liked but still good. Beer selection is about average. Sangria was really good.

Went once during opening weekend… And a few of the main ingredients were missing off our food. I called and complained and the female manager apologized and asked me for my address to send free food certificates. Before I received the certificates, I went and again they failed. Never will go back again. I also have yet to receive my certificates, it’s been weeks! You. Suck.

Absolutely atrocious food. I ordered a salad that was served frozen!!! Lettuce and all, frozen. Not fresh tasting at all. I’ve visited twice and each time they were missing key ingredients, such as pizza toppings, or the chicken that is supposed to accompany one of their main pasta dishes. How can they forget to put the chicken in a dish that has chicken in the title? The other toppings that were available tasted like canned vegetables from the dollar store. It’s too bad, I had high expectations for this establishment, you are better off getting a Lean Cuisine and DiGiorno pizza.

Good sandwiches, plan to come back to try their pizza. The meatball sub and gyro sandwich were good. The décor seemed minimalist, decently well lit with special bulbs. It echoes a lot with the concrete floors and other hard surfaces, I imagine if it was packed, you may not be able to hear well.

I had the distinct distaste to be one of their first customers today for lunch. All I can say is that is a good thing the food was free today because I pizza a little bigger than a saucer that was on par with a lunchable pizza, yes basically ketchup cheese and pepperoni on a cracker, for $ 10.50 is outrageous. Even a DiGiorno pizza is delicious compared to this. Only redeeming quality is that it was a cheap lesson not to bother going back.
