My husband and I had a lot at campers for a few years. At that time people would wave at each other as they passed on Lake Road weather they knew each other or not. As summer approached and was in full swing there’d be more water craft shuttled to and from the boat ramp, people where courteous. The boat ramp would be interesting. Tempers would flare once in a while, but seldom. As years passed it grew busier, less tolerance toward each other, lack of courtesy and the fees paid went toward a road that had a mudslide. Not one penny went toward filling the God awful pot holes on our road and they didn’t care what your opinion was. As scenery goes, it’s gorgeous, but if you like being around a lot of people. here you go. We sold our place and hope the family that is there enjoys it but we will probably never return to a place of our own there. But check it our for yourself. There are a lot of nice people too. just not enough to keep us there and the fees grew to much.

Water so clean, nearby places ape caves and lava canyon. So many things to do at this camp site. If you have a boat it’s a great lake to take family with but if not its still a beautiful camp site to visit. You do have to make reservations months on advance because it is so busy. Love it here!
