Visiting Pittsburgh area during the winter is a big difference in weather, especially for this Southern California girl. We’ve been stuck inside the house for the majority of the time since we’ve been here so we decided to look up some local coffee shops to keep warm and enjoy some fresh air. So glad we came to this spot! It’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Reminiscent of an older, less populated San Francisco because of the houses and hills. The shop owner is a sweet lady. Right away she made us feel like we’re locals and regulars at her shop — which we loved! We ordered a couple of mocha lattes and vanilla chai latte, all topped with some freshly made whipped cream. They were delicious! We even ordered a second round to go! :) I loved the shop for its coziness and friendliness of the people! Will come back again when we get a chance!

Great coffee(not something I say lightly!) and the owners are very friendly. They’re also really committed to renewal and to Ambridge, which is more than just a bonus.

Caffe 501 is a great place to get a great coffee. Great atmosphere, the owner is really nice to talk to. Free WIFI is a plus. Prices are very fair. I personally think the coffee tastes better then Starbucks. The menu has all the drinks you would find at any other coffee house. There are also fresh baked goodies. Place is fairly small so if they are busy could be standing room only. Seating outside in the summer. Again really great place here.
