Love Azalea and Kelsi! I am always treated well and the services are amazing. I love the massage with natural oils before a cut and style. I leave relaxed and always happy with my hair every time I visit. I highly recommend giving Azalea a try. Treat yourself this holiday season.

I honestly came to this salon in American Fork because of the 5 star Unilocal reviews. I had my hair trimmed and cleaned up and can say that I am really pleased with the results and would give them 5 stars for the service. I was offered some tea as well which was a plus.
I didn’t know much about Aveda’s product line as I use all real organic hair products that have a score of less than 2 from the website
and buy at my local health food store. The Environmental Working Group is a group that rates cosmetics and other beauty products based on the toxic ingredients– 1 being the least toxic, 10 being the most. Surprisingly I didn’t see any of Aveda’s new products listed on the website, but I saw old products with numbers way higher than 2, many pages filled with 6 and 7 ratings which amounts to being heavily toxic and no good for your body or the environment!
Then I went to Aveda’s website and tried to find the ingredients found in one of their Light Elements-​Smoothing fluid. As I expected their own website isn’t even upfront with its ingredients, as none of the actual ingredients are listed but rather a picture of Jojoba and Lavender. I really despise when companies are not upfront about ingredients. I mean why can’t they list the ACTUAL ingredients on their website? What do they have to hide? Obviously the toxic petrochemicals that are used in their products. (
) After researching, I found that many of their products are filled with very toxic ingredients!
For as much as Aveda touts «all natural and organic» I see this as another form of «green washing.» As I was an Enviro Major I see this all the time. For all the wind power they use and tribes they claim to be helping, the ingredients are not all organic and natural. I also learned that Aveda lost a lawsuit for not paying an Apache artist for helping him develop their line and failing to give promised revenue to indigenous communities as promised! For all the happy indigenous tribe faces smiling inside their salon, I find this truly ironic.
My verdict? I give the stylist a 5, but the company a 2, so a strong 3 stars.
It is time now to take back our consumer power by being MINDFUL of where our money goes and who it is actually supporting. If you really want to stop supporting corrupt corporations do not buy Aveda products. I will not be supporting them, I have lost all my respect and trust for Aveda. I hope you can see the truth behind their products and how the «pure» ingredients found in their products are few and far between.

I love this salon so much, I am always treated with great respect and I love the products. The main reason I go though is the perfect massage that I get almost weekly. I am carried away in a trance of tranquility and thought. Breanne is literally the best massage therapist I have come in contact with. Aveda has always been ones to care about your inner being. They do a oil profile to determine how you are feeling that day and let you choose the scent that you would like to be massaged with, they focus on the necessary parts and finish every massage with a stress relieving ritual. Many a times I have left in utter awe, and joy to be able to feel so great after each service. I love Azalea, and I love Aveda.

Abish did such a great job on my lashes! I got them right before my wedding and I got incredible pictures. She is so sweet and fun to talk to. Strongly suggest!

Have been coming here for years for their fantastic pedicures. Just tried the new eyelash extension service and am obsessed with them now! Abish did a fantastic job and it only took an hour and a half.
