This review is purely based on service and does not take into account the food. Don’t bother using their online ordering system because it does you zero good. So if your in a hurry and you planned ahead by ordering online guess what you still are going to wait 30 minutes for your order. When I showed up my receipt from the online ordering was crumpled and appeared to have been placed in the trash. They hadn’t started my order till I had already walked in

We usually go to PF Changs which is amazing but can be pricey. This is the first time eating here. It was our first time there. It was yummy and very comparable to PF Changs at half the price! Closer to home as well. Of course it’s not as fancy but I wasn’t giving a dinner party hahaha. We will return!

My family & I love this cute little China isle. They are always so so friendly and the food is yummy! I recommend for a family or a date night. You have got to try this place!

The chicken was pink and under cooked. When you let them know they start saying it’s not when you clearly see it… And the pot stickers are more like dumplings and raw dough with oil galore coming out of it when you cut into… Their egg rolls are all vegetable when they say it has meat in it… And just bad over all service… And not kid friendly either. We will never go back.

I have been here several times. Like other reviewers have said they are quick. Not quick to get you out the door, but quick to get you your food. They generally leave you alone after you receive your food. Sometimes it might be slower to get a refill on your drink. Great food definitely recommend it.

My husband and I love going to China Aisle! We haven’t gone as often lately because we’re trying to eat healthier foods but I think we’re due for another dinner there. They are very decently priced and give huge portions. It’s not the best Chinese food but it is pretty decent and we can go there without spending a fortune on dinner. The chicken lo mein is my favorite! The staff is hit and miss. A couple of them are very friendly but then a couple of them just are not.

If you’re looking for American Chinese food in Utah county, this is your best bet. Mongolian beef and walnut shrimp are favorites in our house, as well as the sesame chicken. The hot and sour soup is a perfect start to a meal. Not only that, but the prices are great, especially for lunch. You get a ton of food in the lunch specials. They also serve pretty quickly in most cases, which is great when you have kids with you.

This is a review of their take-out service/food. I’ve eaten in the restaurant a number of times and would give those experiences 3 stars. But I’ve never been happy with their take-out, and today was the last straw. As usual, I ordered the Kung Pao Three Ingredients for take-out lunch. And also as usual, they rounded up on the final bill, even though the online receipt clearly stated the actual cost. Granted, it was only a couple of cents, but it’s the principle of the thing. Whatever the price is after tax, whatever is on the receipt, that’s what you should charge in actuality.(One time I ordered online but paid case when I picked up… when I asked for my change, they looked at me like I was crazy that I wanted a couple pennies. They’re my pennies… hand them over! But they refused to. I didn’t have time to argue about it. But I thought if I paid with credit card online, it would go through for what the online receipt read… but nope… they somehow round up the price even when you pay that way.) As much as the rounding up bothers me, it especially bothers me when they do that and give me a bad order. And today it was the worst ever. The ham fried rice was significantly more than half of the contents in the take-out container(the typical square styrofoam one). As if that wasn’t gypping me enough, what there was of the Kung Pao Three Ingredients had way too much celery in it(which is nothing but boring, tasteless filler) esp. compared to the zucchini, carrots, water chestnuts, and peanuts. And as far as the proteins that were supposed to be there, all I got was chicken(no shrimp or beef). I may as well have just ordered the Kung Pao Chicken for $ 1 less… so I ended up paying $ 1.02 too much for it. The worst of the worst, though, was that it wasn’t even Kung Pao. No heat/spice ATALL. Not even one of those terribly hot red peppers that you normally have to be really careful not to accidentally get in a bite full or your mouth will be screaming. None at all… which made sense since there was no spice/heat flavor at all. So in reality, you couldn’t even call this dish Chicken Kung Pao… it would have to be named something like Some Tasteless Chicken with a Little Bit of Veggies and Peanuts and a Ton of Celery Crammed into a Take-Out Box That’s Nearly All Fried Rice. I added salt and pepper and soy sauce to everything just to try to give it some… any…taste/flavor. But the egg roll(which was the smallest size I’ve ever seen, maybe the size of my ring finger) had more taste to it… though it was a greasy, rancid cooking oil, dried-out sort of taste. China Isle was never my favorite Chinese restaurant around here, but it used to be good enough for a quick lunch since I work nearby. I’m changing jobs in a couple of weeks… but even if I were sticking around the neighborhood, they’d never be seeing me again.

I really really enjoy this restaurant. They have great food. The vegetable egg foo, pork sweet and sour, and the pork lo mein are my favorite.

Not honoring the 10% off due at ck in was a bunch a crap they wanted us to print it off… When your traveling you do not have a printer! Food was good service sucked.

Although not the best Chinese food I’ve had, they are the best I’ve found in Utah County. Portions are good, flavor is there on most of their dishes. Sometimes the ham fried rice is a little salty. I’ve been going here for almost 10 years and the worst thing I can think of is occasional salty rice.

This is the best Chinese food around. And the place seems nice and clean. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star rating was that our server didn’t speak English. So he couldn’t explain any of the dishes to us. They have many lunch specials that range from $ 5.95 — $ 7. The egg drop soup was the best I’ve had. It actually tasted like soup. We got lettuce wraps for an appetizer. They were so good. As good as I’ve ever had. We each ordered a lunch special and with the appetizer it was just way too much food for lunch. The food came out fast and hot. I had sweet and sour chicken. Oh so delicious. It came with an egg roll, a crispy won ton, rice and the chicken. A nice big plate of delicious food. Our water glasses were kept full. We ended up visiting for a couple of hours and they never made us fill like we needed to leave. It was nice and quiet even though it was a busy place. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes and to take other people here.

I wouldn’t call the food here amazing, and it doesn’t taste like very authentic Chinese, but the amount of decent food you get for a low price makes it one of the better deals in town. The lunch specials are cheap($ 6) and are guaranteed to fill you up. I prefer the hot and sour soup over the egg soup. Then, the food is so fast that once you’re done with the soup, the food is being brought out. I’ve found that the service has been very good when I have been there. They don’t all speak the best English but they try their best, and everyone has been polite and come around quite often. Again, average food, but it’s pretty good Chinese food for Utah — better than Panda Express, and it is cheaper too. If you’re looking for a quick lunch or take out option, this is perfect for it. If you’re looking to impress a date, I’d look elsewhere.

Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in Utah County, the restaurant itself is fairly unassuming its relatively clean and well kept. The service from our waiters /waitresses has been hit and miss some have been really friendly and helpful, while others have not. The food here is definitely better quality than buffet style Chinese, our food has always come out fresh and hot in a timely manner. The honey walnut shrimp, and the general Tao’s chicken are 2 of the better options, and if you want non fried the Szechuan pork is great!

I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was very good! The food was good and probably one of the cleanest Chinese joints I’ve been to. I recommend this place. I had the orange peel beef, it tasted good but not my absolute favorite.

not honoring 10% Unilocal check in discount unless you have to «print» it. That means no discount for travelers like us. the Egg Flour soup had wired color(artificial yellow?) and did not taste real Chinese(more like some poorly made plain broth or even out of box?). The Chicken with Spicy Garlic Sauce was not spicy and had no garlic taste or aroma of it. It tasted vinegar and sugar with soy sauce color. We wanted to have a good Chinese food for dinner during a long road trip(12 hours) but it was very disappointing. I don’t know how this place got this high average rating?! I only sampled two dishes from the menu but that was very poor experience for us. It was very hard to find Chinese restaurants open on Sunday in SLC area and this was one of the few open, but it was not worth the visit.

My go-to Chinese food in town. Love the shrimp. The lunch menu options are perfect for on the go and offer a lot of food with variety in one meal.

I’ll just post a short review. This place was recommended and it’s is good priced and the food is definitely worth the trip to American Fork. The owner doesn’t speak English and his daughter communicates okay but was a little confused when I showed her the 10% off Unilocal discount. I told her it didn’t bother me and to not worry about it, but she kept telling me how sorry she was and kept asking me to help them get it off the website. The food comes in big portions and the side order of ham fried rice is enough for two people. The actual meal is probably enough for two people but I didn’t want to share so I for two meals.

Three stars for the food — one and a half stars for the service. The other reviewers are spot-on about the service here. It rode the line between inattentive and shoddy. I met a friend at China Isle for a late afternoon lunch, and spent a couple of hours after our food experience just chatting and catching up. Service-wise, our lunch visit wasn’t terrible, but anything beyond utilitarian order taking and basic food delivery simply did not exist here. A female waitress took our orders, then disappeared for good. My friend ordered hot tea to drink. It was delivered by a male server. Although I ordered nothing but water, no water was delivered until we specifically hailed the only guy who seemed to be working, and asked for it again. A different male server delivered our food a few minutes later, then brought the check out within 10 minutes and sat it on our table with no dialogue at all. In fact, during our entire stay(two and a half hours), the only words spoken to us at all by any restaurant staff was, «What would you like?» when our order was initially taken. Thankfully, there was no direct attitude or rudeness, either. The food was okay, but pretty poorly executed. The hot and sour soup was passable — nothing special — a very standard hot and sour. The garlic chicken that I specified I’d like«very spicy» had decent flavor, but no heat whatsoever. My friend’s Kung Pao Chicken that she ordered«mild» was filled with at least a dozen tien tsin peppers, and she said it was very spicy. It was as if they switched our dishes at birth. The fried rice was seriously lacking in flavor, and appeared to be plain white rice with six or seven peas, and a couple of carrot cubes in it. Never were there any attempts to refill our water glasses. No «How is your food?» nor«Can I get you anything else?» Nope. They left us alone… which was good and bad. The guy I suspect was the owner or manager kept staring us down like, «Are you two STILL here?»(The place was empty except for us, mind you.) I’m not sure how, or to whom this qualfies as great Chinese food. In my book, it was a totally forgettable lunch — except the conversation with my friend. That part was very nice.
