Worst Chinese food in Utah. I am a big fan of Chinese food, this place is terrible. The food was in the bar probably for hours, the look, taste was terrible. I had a sesame chicken and it looked more like mashed marmalade chicken. Avoid yourself trouble and go some where else.
Even Panda Express is better than this place.

This is our go-​to place for chinese food. I like the sesame chicken, the kung pao chicken, the rice, and the noodles. The only thing I don’t like is the orange chicken since it’s a bit slimy, but it still tastes good.
The people that own this are great and always friendly. My wife has been friends with them for a while and we go here pretty often. The prices are awesome and whenever we eat at another chinese place, we wish we had gone here instead. Thank you, Whistle Wok! You are great!

I love coming here, you always get the food fast. You are in and out within minutes, the food is always fresh and delicious. My most favorite take out place. I always get the sesame chicken and mushroom chicken and love the fact that they give you an egg roll with your meal!

My wife and I have been coming to Whistle Wok for years. We love this place! The service is fast and friendly, the food is great, and cheap too! The orange chicken is my favorite and tastes better than other Chinese restaurants.

I love this place. Very inexpensive. Similar to panda but costs less. Great tasting. Great fried rice. The sesame chicken is good but make sure you get it fresh.

Better than Panda! I decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed. The food was all fresh and so flavorful. For under $ 8 I got a two combination plate with an egg roll and drink. Unlike other ready made Chinese food, like panda, everything here was fresh. The ladies that were working the counter we also very pleasant. I think I have found a new favorite.

It’s a run of the mill formulaic freezer-​to-​fryer americanized chinese restaurant of no particularly special character.

I came here today for the first time in ages. The food was hot and fresh, and service was great. Great for Chinese fast food. I was surprised by how busy it was on a Wednesday night, but happy that I still didn’t have to wait for service.

I love this place! I eat here fairly frequently. You cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. A two item combo plate with rice or noodles and a spring roll is only $ 5.45! It’s best to go during lunch or dinner rush when they have to keep making fresh food because then the sesame chicken is nice and crispy. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s way cheaper than Panda, and in my opinion, the food is better.

5 stars for how cheap it is for what you get. Favorite item is the general chicken.
3 stars quality of food (but remember you get what you pay for)
1 star for going in at 4pm (the food was probably sitting in the hot pans since there lunch rush) It literally tastes like jerky and it was cold!
3 stars for customer service. Efficient but not friendly.
Over all it’s fast and cheap but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

This is GREAT Chinese food… if it’s fresh. If not, it’s not worth it! But the sesame chicken is amazing right after it’s been cooked. The problem is, it is set up like Panda Express, so the food can sit there for a while before it is served. So it’s pretty hit or miss. The soup is always hot and great, though!

I’ve been eating here for 8 years. The food is consistently good. Of course if you go when it it’s slow the food isn’t as fresh; but still good. I recommend the sesame chicken. I get it every time.

Loved it! Went on a Saturday night so everything was fresh. Got the 3 entrée plate and it was so reasonably priced! The wontons were probably the best I’ve ever had. The combo plate comes with rice and/​or noodles and an egg roll or cream cheese wonton. Every entrée was delicious, the employee was very helpful and let us sample. We’ll be back!

The reviews from a few years ago that said Panda Express was better were probably written when it was being run by different people. I have been going here for 10 years and the food has always been decent. It is much better food than Panda. I often come here at least once a week. The service is usually quick and always friendly! I love Whistle Wok!
Cashew chicken, sweet and sour chicken are really good, green pepper pork is amazing!
If you want white rice, you just have to ask. It is not on display, but they do have it!

Cheese wontons and Sesame Chicken are easily the best items. Everything else tastes pretty bland to me, but man that sesame chicken is good.
Good pricing. You can definitely share the 3 entrée.

This is by far my favorite Chinese food place in Utah County (and I’ve tried them all). The food is decent, but the price is spectacular and the service is amazing for a chinese place.
They have great kids meal options as well, and the food is very fresh.
Anyone who prefers Panda Express to this has absolutely no taste buds (which is par for the course in über-​bland-​culinary Utah).
