Umm, no. When I saw the burger, I was hoping it tasted better than it looked. It didn’t. The only way this is like a burger you’d make at home is if you buy your burgers in the frozen food section – pre-cooked – and then warm it in a microwave. The chili cheese fries weren’t bad, though.

I liked b-bops. Reminds me of the type of. hamburgers you’d make at home Ordered.a cheeseburger deluxe combo. Needless to say it’s a good hamburger you’ll defiantly enjoy eating inside your car overlooking the cars on the road.

One of the few fast food places I will tolerate! Their burgers are delicious, sesame bun-to-bun. If you’re looking for a guilty, greasy munch, you won’t be disappointed at B-bops.

Best burger ever!!! Good taste even want to cry. The combination of chocolate shake and french fries are fun and delicious. Seating outside and eating the double meat burger is the most leisure time in summer.

I like B-Bops. The sloppy joes are a good alternative when no Maid-Rite is in sight. The hamburgers and shakes are solid. The chile is great for fast food. Everything is good. Nothing is exceptional. Only a few concerns. Inconsistency is an issue. Sometimes the sloppy joes are so greasy they are inedible. And why must I seemingly always have to beg for ketchup with my fries? Once in a while I might also like to sit down to eat. But of course that’s why other restaurants exist.

Charbroiled burgers are not bad. Chocolate milk shakes are very good, but very filling.

I’m not from Iowa and had never been to Bbops until about 6 wks ago. I have now ate there 4 times because it seems I just can’t get enough! The fries have been FRESHEVERY single visit and the bacon cheeseburger is DELICIOUS! I’ll be leaving Iowa soon and will definitely miss this place! I called to give them a compliment because it seems anymore these days the only calls are to complain. They don’t answer the phone during lunch hour and that really impressed me. Shows how much they are focused on fresh quality meals!

By far the best fast food burgers in the state of Iowa. And if you have coupons from the papers this place is an awesome deal! Always friendly service and fresh food that doesn’t taste like its loaded with chemicals! The fries beat out McDonalds in my opinion

Always good burgers and fries that are fresh. Burgers can get messy but delish. Double cheese and fries more then enough to eat

Yummy yummy yummy burgers!!! Prices are on the cheap side for incredibly fantastic burgers. Fries are so-so. Thin, but decently seasoned. Definite cool throwback vibe. My new eating joint/date night with my love.

Be-Bop’s just barely hangs on to its 2 star rating. This time I knew better than to order the mediocre chili and anyway, I wanted to eat in the car while driving distracted. I really wanted a couple of simple hot dogs and discovered that they don’t have them. So I ordered a Bacon Barbecue burger with two patties. Well, just like the chili, the burgers are not really worth going back for. I really see nothing to distinguish it from McDonald’s or Hardee’s, etc and in fact it may not be as good. The burger patties were machine made compressed meat disks, unseasoned. They have no crust from the grill and no distinctive flavor. They are pretty greasy and dull gray. The meat is not very good quality. I know this sounds strange, but hamburger can be tough. This does not mean that the patty cannot be chewed off, but that the individual little ground pieces are tough at a basic level. B Bop’s beef is tough. They have a simple menu and business model. I know they are trying to distinguish themselves as a nostalgic place but the food I have had just misses the mark. I can’t see a reason to go back.

Sloppy joe sliders for a buck. Taste like the ones you got back in grade school at lunch, in a good way. Burger was ok. The meat is like the size of a small dinner plate, and the bun is smaller. Toppings were minimal and left me wanting extra. Fries were tasty, could have used some ketchup. Guess you have to ask for it. Cheap, cheap, cheap, and tasty. Healthy? Heck no.

You definitely don’t want to go here if you’re trying to eat healthy, but it’s nice for something different every now and then. Their fries are extremely crispy and their burgers melt in your mouth. If you keep an eye out for coupons the price will be impossible to beat for the amount of food you get.

Been here a few times, didn’t see what was so special. Maybe it’s the few times I’ve had it, but I didn’t find anything special about this place, really. I can’t see why Travis above would trade In-n-Outs for BBops. I was raised on In-n-Out too and would never make that silly of a statement.

I LOVE B-Bop’s! I really try to get a burger each time I’m back home. Last time I didn’t get around to it, and I wasn’t happy about that. I’m in San Diego now, and In-n-Out burgers are good, but for a good fast food burger, I’d trade all the In-N-Outs here for a B-Bop’s. Their burgers I think are flame-broiled instead of fried, I think that’s what I like. Fries are decent. And they(at least used to) have Pepsi products, so I can get a Mountain Dew. Hate on Coke.
